Bengals DC Mike Zimmer will remain in Minnesota through Wednesday, but tells the Minneapolis Star-Tribune he's yet to be offered the Vikings' head-coaching job.

Zimmer was in town for his second interview on Tuesday. It's unclear if his interview, and not just his stay, is extending through Wednesday. Per the Tribune, a resolution is expected within the next 24 hours. Zimmer is the only candidate the Vikings have brought back for a second talk. He remains the favorite to replace Leslie Frazier.

Sam Bradford (knee) is practicing Wednesday.

Take a deep breath, Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook, and Adam Thielen owners. As long as Bradford doesn't have any setbacks and his knee responds well to practice this week, he'll be out there against the Bucs on Sunday. Obviously, Bradford avoiding setbacks isn't something to take for granted.

Jordan Reed (chest) is not practicing Wednesday.

Speaking Monday, coach Jay Gruden said Reed was day to day with a bruised chest. He's started the year with two tough matchups against the Eagles and Rams but gets a dream spot against the Raiders on Sunday night.

John Brown (quad) is not practicing Wednesday.

He's not expected to play this week. J.J. Nelson and Jaron Brown will fill in as the Nos. 2 and 3 receivers, and Nelson will again be a viable WR3/4.

Jarvis Landry (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

Landry popped up on the injury report with a knee issue last Friday, but ultimately played against the Chargers and led the Dolphins with 13 catches for 78 yards on 15 targets. It could just be a rest day for Landry, who was riding the bike at practice. We'll update Landry again no later than Thursday.
Sep 20 - 1:30 PM

Terrance West (thigh) is not practicing Wednesday.

West played just 15 snaps to Buck Allen's 43 in Week 2, and this is part of the reason. West was able to get into the end zone before leaving the game. If he misses, Allen will be a borderline RB1 against the Jaguars in London.
Sep 20 - 1:23 PM

Tyler Eifert (knee, back) is not practicing Wednesday.

Eifert has been a total bust through two weeks, notching just four catches for 46 yards on five targets. He's become droppable at this point as a chronically injured player in a broken offense. C.J. Uzomah (ankle) is back at practice.
Sep 20 - 1:07 PM

Rex Burkhead (ribs) is not practicing Wednesday.

Burkhead was forced to leave Week 2 against the Saints after scoring a first-half touchdown on five touches. Dion Lewis played more in his absence.
Sep 20 - 1:02 PM

Rob Gronkowski (groin) is practicing on Wednesday.

Gronkowski has already said the groin injury he suffered in the Week 2 win over the Saints is minor. He's fully expected to suit up against the Texans on Sunday. Danny Amendola (concussion) is also practicing Wednesday.
Sep 20 - 12:57 PM

Isaiah Crowell said he talked to coach Hue Jackson about getting him more carries.

Crowell has opened the season against a pair of tough run defenses in the Steelers and Ravens and has managed just 70 rushing yards on 27 carries (2.59 YPC) along with 33 yards on two catches. Jackson wants to get him the ball more, but we've heard him say this before. The good news is the schedule softens a bit with the Colts, Bengals, and Jets on deck for the Browns, even though the Colts are second in the league in run defense after two weeks.
Sep 20 - 12:49 PM

Coach Mike Zimmer said Sam Bradford (knee) "felt better" on Tuesday and remains day to day.

"We'll just see how he’s doing as we move forward day to day," Zimmer continued. Bradford is reportedly dealing with a bone bruise and no ligament damage. Case Keenum was completely inept at moving the offense in Week 2, averaging 4.5 YPA despite not turning the ball over. The Vikings' skill guys like Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen need Bradford back in the lineup ASAP.

ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan thinks "this might actually be the week" New York features Orleans Darkwa instead of Paul Perkins at running back.

The Giants are considering major changes on offense after their 0-2 start. Coach Ben McAdoo is considering giving up play-calling duties, there may be an offensive line shakeup, and Perkins could get benched. Perkins has managed a pitiful 26 yards on 14 carries (1.86 YPC) through two games, while Darkwa has 31 yards on six carries (5.2 YPC). Darkwa clearly needs more reps.
