Broncos DT Kevin Vickerson (hip) said he "should be" ready for OTAs.

Vickerson dislocated his hip after starting the first 11 games of this past season. He's a valuable run-stopping cog in the middle of the Broncos' defensive line and has one year left on his contract. Vickerson should be back to rotate with Terrance Knighton and Sylvester Williams at defensive tackle.

Pro Football Talk reports the Bills and free agent RB Reggie Bush are still talking.

Bush was heavily linked with Buffalo following the four-game suspension to Karlos Williams, but Bush wants to take his time with the decision. "As of right now, I haven’t made a decision," Bush said earlier this month. "I’m still trying to figure out what’s going to be the best opportunity for me and my family." With no other reported interest in the former No. 2 overall pick, it would be surprising if he did not end up with Buffalo.

Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff said the team is still looking at free agent DE/OLB Dwight Freeney.

Freeney surprised with eight sacks in 11 games with the Cardinals last season, but the 36-year-old has not found much interest on the open market. He did visit with the Falcons in May, but Atlanta decided to pass. It is possible they will change their mind if they do not like what they see early in camp. The Bengals and Bucs have also been linked.

Colts OC Rob Chudzinski said sophomore WR Phillip Dorsett can be a "big-time playmaker."

With Coby Fleener in New Orleans, the Colts are expected to utilize more three-wide sets moving forward. That should open up a much bigger role for Dorsett, who was limited to 11 games and 39 targets as a rookie. The Colts lost over 220 targets from last season. It would not be surprising if a decent chunk of those looks went to Dorsett.

Falcons released KR/WR Devin Hester.

Hester struggled to recover from January surgery to repair two broken sesamoid bones in his right big toe, but it is possible he would have been cut even without the injury. Primarily a kick returner in his two seasons with Atlanta, Hester's value has been damaged by the new kickoff rules. He could latch on somewhere else if he is able to get healthy, but the 33-year-old is nearing the end of the line.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said there are no long-term concerns about Jordy Nelson's (active/PUP) knee.

Nelson was somewhat surprisingly placed on the active/PUP list to start camp, but it sounds like the Packers are just being cautious. He can be removed from the list at any time. Almost a full year removed from tearing his ACL, Nelson's stay on the PUP should be fairly short.

Speaking on PFT Live, ESPN Cleveland's Tony Grossi said the Browns' quarterback battle is "not an open competition."

Grossi said Robert Griffin III will get four out of five reps with the first-team offense. Coach Hue Jackson has refused to name Griffin the starter heading into camp, but it appears the job is all but sewn up. If third-rounder Cody Kessler shows well enough to earn the backup job, the Browns could decide to trade Josh McCown during camp.

ESPN Chiefs reporter Adam Teicher reports Jamaal Charles' workload will not be limited "if he's healthy and he's the same player he was before the knee injury."

This is music to the ears of Charles truthers, but Teicher did add a big caveat. Charles will be 30 in December and is coming off his second knee surgery in the last four years. He also has company in the backfield after Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West combined for 1,256 total yards and 11 scores last season. Charles will still clearly be the lead back if healthy, but he should lose touches to Ware and perhaps even West regardless of health.

TMZ Sports reports Tre Mason's family is concerned about his mental health and personal safety.

Mason has been involved with the police on five separate occasions over the past four months. The most recent incident occurred on Saturday when multiple units were called to Mason's home in the middle of the afternoon. Mason was not arrested, but it has become clear he is struggling. Hopefully he can get the help he needs. Rams coach Jeff Fisher has already conceded there is a good chance Mason is "not going to be" with the team in the near future.

Chargers GM Tom Telesco said he is not sure if No. 3 overall pick Joey Bosa will report to training camp on time.

"I don’t know," Telesco said. "We’re still working on it. Hopefully we’ll get something done, but I don’t know." Bosa and the Chargers are quibbling over offset language and the structure of the bonus money in his rookie contract. One of just three first-rounders who remain unsigned, this situation should be resolved early in camp at the latest. Bosa is expected to hold down the end spot opposite Corey Liuget as a rookie.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press' Charley Walters believes this season "probably will be the last in Minnesota" for Adrian Peterson.

Walters cites Peterson's rising wages -- he is owed a $6 million roster bonus along with an $11.75 million base salary in 2017 -- as the main reason he will be shown the door. It is unlikely the Vikings pay Peterson that much money in his age-32 season, but that is not the only option. The Vikings could offer Peterson an extension which gives him some security down the line in exchange for a lower salary next year, and he will likely be willing to negotiate knowing he will not get close to $18 million on the open market. Still, it is not a given Peterson returns to Minnesota next season, making Jerick McKinnon a great hold in Dynasty formats.

According to the Denver Post's Cameron Wolfe, C.J. Anderson "has the potential" to be a "1,500-yard back."

The Gary Kubiak Effect. Kubiak has long championed featuring his running backs and making them the focal point of his offenses. With Peyton Manning now out of the picture, Kubiak is expected to revert to that style of play in 2016. Totaling 1,500 yards should be within reach for Anderson as long as he can stay healthy and get off to a fast start. Arian Foster rushed for 1,200-plus yards and tallied 1,500-plus three times under Kubiak in Houston, and Justin Forsett totaled 1,529 in 2014 in Kubiak's lone season with Baltimore. Anderson remains one of the better picks at his current fourth-round ADP.
