Jaguars GM David Caldwell reiterated Thursday that the team will welcome back Justin Blackmon when his indefinite suspension is lifted.

"At some point in time, he will be back," Caldwell said. Caldwell was echoing comments made by owner Shad Khan late last month. Blackmon is one of the biggest off-the-field headaches in all of football, but the Jaguars simply can't afford to throw in the towel on his talent. Blackmon will be a 2014 breakout candidate if he can keep his head on straight.

Andrew Luck (concussion, shoulder) was a full participant at Friday's practice.

That's an upgrade from Thursday when he was limited. Luck missed Week 12 with a concussion but should be all systems go for Monday night. He'll offer QB1 appeal in a glorious matchup against the Jets' struggling secondary.
Dec 2 - 4:11 PM

Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Panthers.

Seahawks FS Earl Thomas was removed from the injury report, so he'll will start against Carolina. Bennett's status is less certain, but most signs point to him playing as well. Seahawks RCB Deshawn Shead is also off the injury report after missing Week 12. Whereas the Panthers' defense is in disarray, the Seahawks' defense is nearing full strength for the stretch run.
Dec 2 - 4:11 PM

T.Y. Hilton (back) returned to a full practice on Friday.

That puts him on track to play Monday night against the Jets. Hilton will be an obvious WR1 against New York's overmatched secondary.
Dec 2 - 4:06 PM

The Panthers ruled out SS Kurt Coleman (concussion) and MLB Luke Kuechly (concussion) for Week 13 against the Seahawks.

Jimmy Graham and Doug Baldwin should go to work against a Carolina defense that is severely weakened up the middle. Coleman hasn't had a great year, but he is the Panthers' top playmaker in the secondary. Kuechly is the heart and soul of Carolina's defense. The Panthers will also be without DE Mario Addison (foot) against Seattle. Addison leads the team with nine sacks.
Dec 2 - 4:00 PM

NFL suspended Cowboys MLB Rolando McClain indefinitely without pay for violations of the league's substance abuse policy.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported McClain was facing a one-year ban last month. This confirms it, and suggests McClain may be away from the game for longer than that. At age 27, McClain's tumultuous career is very likely over.
Dec 2 - 3:58 PM

Rams RE Robert Quinn (concussion) missed practice again on Friday.

It looks like Quinn was unable to earn medical clearance and will miss Sunday's bout with Tom Brady, significantly upgrading Brady's matchup. Quinn is by far the Rams' top outside pass rusher.
Dec 2 - 3:54 PM

Tavon Austin (chest) missed Rams practice again on Friday.

The DNP on Friday suggests Austin is in significant danger of missing Sunday's trip to Foxboro. The Patriots have struggled to stop interior options all season long, so Austin would have theoretically been in a favorable spot. If Austin can't play, the Rams would figure to turn to Pharoh Cooper in the slot.
Dec 2 - 3:53 PM

Aaron Rodgers (hamstring) is questionable for Week 13 against the Texans.

He put in a limited week of practice and should be all set for Sunday despite tweaking his hamstring in Week 12. Rodgers is No. 2 in RotoPat's Week 13 quarterback rankings.
Dec 2 - 3:48 PM

Tyvon Branch will take over as the Cardinals' primary slot defender in the expected absence of Tyrann Mathieu (shoulder).

Branch spent the last eight weeks on the Cardinals' I.R. list, but was recalled this week and will likely play most of the game against Washington. Branch was outstanding in the role early this season with Mathieu still coming back from a knee operation. Still, it's hard to tell how Branch will fare in his first game back. He is coming off of in-season sports hernia surgery.
Dec 2 - 3:27 PM

Jeremy Maclin (groin) is questionable for Week 13 against the Falcons.

Maclin put in a limited week of practice and should be good to go after sitting out the last three games with a groin injury. His return puts a damper on Tyreek Hill, who absolutely crushed it during Maclin's absence. Maclin was struggling before his injury and won't be anything more than a back-end WR3 this week.
Dec 2 - 3:17 PM

Despite returning to practice Friday, Mark Ingram (toe) was noncommittal when asked about his Week 13 availability.

"We'll see," said Ingram, adding that his Wednesday and Thursday absences from practice were due to "soreness" in the toe. Ingram said the toe "felt good" during Friday's practice. Still, it's conceivable his role is scaled back a bit on Sunday, with Tim Hightower shouldering more of the load. Reports on Ingram's toe will be worth monitoring closely into Sunday morning.
