Ex-NFL S Darren Sharper has been charged with drugging and raping two women in Los Angeles.

These are felony charges. Sharper, 38, is accused of raping two women whom he had invited back to his hotel room. He reportedly gave them liquid shots containing Ambien and morphine, causing them to pass out. One woman woke up while Sharper was assaulting her, while the other woke up naked hours later. It's been requested that bail be set at $10 million because Sharper is being investigated for rapes in L.A., New Orleans, Nevada and Arizona. Sharper is currently employed by NFL Network but was suspended without pay last month.

Terrance Williams was arrested in Frisco, Texas early Saturday morning on charges of public intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident.

Both charges are misdemeanors. According to police, Williams crashed his Lamborghini into a light pole at 3 AM and fled the scene. He was arrested when police found him riding an electric bicycle near his home about two hours later. Williams has since been released on a $369 bond. The 28-year-old caught 53 passes for 568 yards and no touchdowns for Dallas in 2017.

Ex-Browns QB Johnny Manziel has signed a contract with the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The former Heisman Trophy winner announced the news himself on social media and said his deal is a two-year contract. Manziel's comeback has been in the works for some time as the 25-year-old performed in front of scouts twice in March and also competed in the Spring League last month. The Patriots were said to be interested in Manziel but instead used a seventh-round draft pick on LSU's Danny Etling. The former first-round pick threw for 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions in two seasons with Cleveland before off-field distractions and substance abuse issues derailed his career.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed Julio Jones is not expected to attend voluntary OTAs next week.

The Falcons aren't overly concerned as Jones was absent for most of OTAs while vacationing in China last offseason. Jones, who made headlines earlier this offseason when he deleted pictures of the Falcons from his social media, is reportedly looking for a "correction or update" to his current deal. Rapoport believes Jones has built up enough goodwill within the organization for the Falcons to accommodate him. The 29-year-old is due a reasonable $10.5 million salary in 2018.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler confirms that WR Vincent Jackson is "very happily retired."

Jackson was out of the league last year following an injury-plagued 2016 season and apparently has no interest in resuming his career. Instead the 35-year-old will shift his focus to community and business work in Tampa. A second-round pick of the Chargers in 2005, Jackson topped 1,000 receiving yards in six of his 11 NFL seasons. The three-time Pro Bowler will finish his career with 540 catches, 9,080 receiving yards and 57 touchdowns over 155 NFL games.

Raiders signed first-round OT Kolton Miller to a four-year, $13.651 million contract.

The deal includes a fifth-year team option for 2022. Miller went 15th overall in last month's draft following a standout career at UCLA. He protected Josh Rosen's blind side in college but will likely begin his NFL career at right tackle.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports Odell Beckham (ankle) will report for voluntary OTAs next week.

This doesn't come as a surprise after OBJ was present for voluntary workouts last month at minicamp. Beckham continues to play nice, even with the Giants dangling him in trade talks prior to the draft and failing to make any progress on a contract extension. He's entering the final year of his deal and will earn a little over $8.4 million. OBJ's ankle should be close to 100 percent.

Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official website expects LeGarrette Blount and second-round rookie Kerryon Johnson to get the "bulk of the work" in Detroit's backfield.

Theo Riddick will continue to handle passing work. That leaves Ameer Abdullah as the projected odd man out as it stands right now. That could obviously all change with an injury or if Johnson doesn't prove ready as a rookie. But for now, Abdullah might be better off with a change of scenery with a summer trade. The Lions were one of the worst rushing offenses last season.

Seahawks signed fifth-round WLB Shaquem Griffin to a four-year contract.

Fifth-round CB Tre Flowers has also signed. One of the stories of the draft — he doesn't have a left hand — Griffin was the 2016 DPOY in the American Conference, tallying 30 career tackles for loss, 17 sacks, four forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries. PFF credited Griffin with the nation’s No. 2 pass-rush productivity rating in the 2018 draft class, and he crushed the forty (4.38) at the Combine. Griffin missed 24 tackles over his final two seasons and will always have a limitation, but he is a blur on tape attacking the ball and offers innate playmaking ability. At worst, he should be a plus special teamer and sub-package pass rusher.

Testifying in court on Thursday, Reuben Foster's ex-girlfriend said she lied about Foster hitting her, and that she made up the accusations as part of a "money scheme."

"I didn’t want to get this far in the news," Elissa Ennis said. "It was about money." Ennis also said she was "pissed and I wanted to end him," and admitted to lying about a domestic violence incident with another man in 2011. She said she was testifying as so on Thursday because she "had to do the right thing." In no uncertain terms, Ennis is saying there was no domestic violence. Foster appears poised to be exonerated, though a ruling on whether he must stand trial will be issued next week.

Richard Sherman (Achilles') expects to be ready for training camp but expects the 49ers to be "overly cautious."

Sherman is correct that he will likely be eased into camp. It's possible, if not likely, that he is held out of the entire preseason. Sherman has progressed to jogging on the field in his rehab. He turned 30 in March.

Bucs OC Todd Monken said sophomore WR Chris Godwin has earned the right to start.

Godwin showed out when given a shot as a rookie, turning 55 targets into 34 catches for 525 yards and a score. It would make sense for the Bucs to get him more work, but his path to targets is blocked by Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson as well as a quality duo at tight end. The coaching staff should find a way to get him on the field in three-wide sets, but it is unlikely Godwin returns redraft value this season without an injury. That said, he is a great hold in Dynasty formats, especially with Jackson potentially entering his final season in Tampa.
