Coach Pete Carroll "really hyped up" Christine Michael at the NFL Combine, calling him the Seahawks' "biggest breakout candidate."

Michael has nasty running talent, but it's going to be difficult for him to "break out" as long as he's parked behind Marshawn Lynch on the depth chart. Seattle does fancy C-Mike as its franchise back of the future. He'll be a late-round re-draft flier in 2014, but holds borderline RB2 Dynasty value with mammoth forward-thinking upside. Michael was the 62nd overall pick in last April's draft.

TitansOnline's Jim Wyatt believes it's "too early to say" if RT Jack Conklin (knee) will be ready for Week 1.

Conklin missed OTAs recovering from January ACL surgery. He's expected to open training camp on the active/PUP list, but there's hope he'll return before the start of the season. Conklin was one of the top pass-blocking right tackles in the league before going down in the playoffs. The Titans have a proven backup in Dennis Kelly if Conklin isn't back for Week 1.

SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano reports a "holdout is still on the table" if the Giants don't make progress in contract talks with Odell Beckham.

Beckham told reporters last week he plans to attend training camp, but Vacchiano reports sources close to the receiver insist a holdout is still in play. The Giants are "basically nowhere" in negotiations with Beckham, having "preliminary conversations but no serious talks." This should be one of the top storylines going into camp. Beckham can be fined $40K per day if he holds out.

The Texans plan to move CB Kareem Jackson to safety.

This has been expected with Andre Hal sidelined. 30-year-old Jackson lost a step in 2017, grading as one of the worst corners in the league. He should benefit from the move to safety full time. Jackson's presence opposite Tyrann Mathieu likely limits rookie Justin Reid to sub-packages, with Kevin Johnson taking over outside in base sets.

Free agent Tre Boston turned down an offer from the Cardinals.

Boston visited Arizona last month, but they were only willing to give him the veteran minimum. There hasn't been any market for safeties this offseason with Boston, Kenny Vaccaro, Mike Mitchell, and Eric Reid all still unsigned. Coming off a career year, 25-year-old Boston should resurface before training camp.

Patriots signed first-round OL Isaiah Wynn to a four-year contract.

As with all first-round picks, Wynn's contract includes a fifth-year team option. The 23rd overall pick in April's draft has experience at both guard and tackle but figures to begin his career at left guard. First-round RB Sony Michel remains as New England's only unsigned draft pick.

49ers signed OG Laken Tomlinson to a three-year extension through 2021.

Per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the deal carries a maximum value of $18 million with $10 million guaranteed. Without a new deal, Tomlinson's contract would have expired after this year. The 26-year-old impressed as a run-blocker last season but struggled in pass protection. He should open 2018 as the Niners' starting left guard.

The Tampa Bay Times' Greg Auman believes Ryan Griffin has a "major opportunity" to pass Ryan Fitzpatrick on the depth chart and start for the Bucs during Jameis Winston's three-game suspension.

Griffin was impressing the coaching staff last summer but sprained his AC joint in his shoulder in the preseason opener, which handed the No. 2 job to Fitzpatrick. He returned late in the season to be Fitzpatrick's backup when Winston was hurt. Griffin, a 2013 UDFA, has never attempted a regular-season pass but spent his first couple years with Sean Payton and Drew Brees in New Orleans. Fitzpatrick is the heavy favorite to start Weeks 1-3, but Griffin will have plenty of opportunities to win over the staff in camp and preseason.

Browns RBs coach Freddie Kitchens said the team will ride the "hot hand" in the backfield this season.

"If they are having success why would you change?" Kitchens said. "All three of those guys -- Carlos Hyde, Duke Johnson, and Nick Chubb -- can run our running game." Tyrod Taylor recently praised Hyde's deceptive ability in the pass game, while Kitchens noted how "violent" Chubb is as a runner, something the offense desires at the position. New OC Todd Haley rode Le'Veon Bell hard in Pittsburgh and would likely prefer one emerges from the pack. Hyde is expected to get the first crack at things, but Chubb is fully expected to challenge him at some point. This is one of the more intriguing position battles to watch this summer.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jameis Winston will be suspended three games for violating the league's personal-conduct policy.

Per Schefter, the league "still has not notified Winston of its official decision," and "the circumstances surrounding it still could lead to an increase or decrease of the three games." The ban is the result of Winston's alleged March 2016 groping of an Uber driver. He was not charged with a crime in the incident. The timing is devastating for the Bucs, who will travel to New Orleans in Week 1 before hosting the Eagles and Steelers in back-to-back weeks. As coach Dirk Koetter coaches for his job, he will be doing so with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. The expected ban is a mammoth blow to Winston's fantasy value. He had been looking like a value pick as the QB19 according to Fantasy Football Calculator. Fitzpatrick's presence under center doesn't really affect the outlook for players like Mike Evans and Cameron Brate. Fitz loves to throw with the best of them.

The Athletic's Vic Tafur reports that "as of Wednesday" Martavis Bryant had not been notified of a pending suspension.

Tafur also reports that Bryant "did not fail a drug test or miss a test for that matter." The report that the Raiders were fearing a suspension was from extremely reliable beat writer Michael Gehlken. Clearly something is afoot, but no one knows what. Tafur does report he caught wind of a similar report "a couple of months ago" that ended up getting killed. There was apparently a "complication" with one of Bryant's tests that was "cleared up when Bryant visited the NFL offices." It does not appear that and this are related, however. As always with Bryant, sit tight.

Broncos signed first-round OLB Bradley Chubb to a four-year contract.

As with all first-round picks, the deal includes a fifth-year option. With Shane Ray once again dealing with a wrist injury, the Broncos need Chubb to immediately contribute opposite Von Miller. The rookie has the skill set to do just that.
