The Colts will host free agent Hakeem Nicks on Friday.

Indy would be a great place for Nicks to rehab his career, assuming his heart is still in it. There are whispers it isn't. Still only 26 years old, Nicks would add theoretical playmaking ability on the perimeter of the Colts' offense, with T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne moving around the formation. Nicks recently listed the Colts as one of his preferred destinations due to quarterback Andrew Luck. He's also drawing interest from the Panthers and Chargers.

Lorenzo Taliaferro rushed 18 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' Week 3 win over the Browns, 23-21.

He was not targeted in the passing game, but showed superior interior running ability to Justin Forsett, handling the 18 carries to Forsett's 11. A fourth-round rookie out of Coastal Carolina, Taliaferro should remain in the mix for carries in OC Gary Kubiak's backfield entering a Week 4 date with the Panthers. Bernard Pierce was inactive for Week 3 with a thigh injury and his status moving forward is unclear. As is the pecking order in Kubiak's backfield. A pile-pushing power back, Taliaferro needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues.
Sep 21 - 4:04 PM

Giovani Bernard rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in the Bengals' 33-7, Week 3 blowout win over the Titans.

Bernard added one catch for seven yards. His best run of the day was a 12-yard gain off a spin move. Other than that, there weren't a ton of holes to be found. Bernard got much of the court quarter off, with Jeremy Hill coming in to rack up garbage-time carries. Both of Bernard's touchdowns were of the one-yard variety. He now has three scores through three games. Bernard and the Bengals head into their bye week before traveling to New England in Week 5.
Sep 21 - 4:03 PM

Clay Matthews was forced from Green Bay's Week 3 loss to the Lions with a groin injury.

Matthews went down midway through the fourth quarter, and did not return. Matthews has been a slow healer in the past, so it's a big concern for the Packers' unimpressive defense.
Sep 21 - 3:50 PM

Andrew Luck completed 31-of-39 passes for 370 yards, four touchdowns, and no turnovers in Sunday's Week 3 blowout win over the Jaguars.

He added 15 rushing yards on three scrambles. Through three games, Luck's TD-to-INT ratio stands at 9:3. He was surgical against the defense-less Jaguars, who sacked Luck twice but otherwise generated very little pressure as Luck spread the ball around to nine different pass catchers. Luck should have had a fifth touchdown, but Coby Fleener dropped the would-be score. Expect Luck to stay hot when the Colts host the crumbling Titans in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 3:45 PM

Kyle Rudolph was forced from Minnesota's Week 3 game against the Packers with a groin injury, and is questionable to return.

Rudolph was dejected on the sideline, and appears done for the day. Rudolph looked sluggish before going down, catching 3-of-5 targets for 27 yards. The Vikes are now left with Rhett Ellison and MarQueis Gray at tight end. It's possible Rudolph's injury is related to the "abdomen" issue that limited him in practice this week.
Sep 21 - 3:33 PM

Jamaal Charles is inactive for Week 3 against the Dolphins.

The Chiefs will attempt to feature Knile Davis at Miami. In addition to Charles, Kansas City's Week 3 inactives are QB Aaron Murray, WR Albert Wilson, RB De'Anthony Thonas, S Eric Berry, OG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, and DE Damion Square.
Sep 21 - 2:56 PM

T.Y. Hilton exited Sunday's Week 3 game with an ankle injury.

The injury happened late in the second quarter. Hilton had five catches for 50 yards on six targets before departing. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game midway through the third quarter.
Sep 21 - 2:48 PM

Chad Henne was benched at halftime of Sunday's game versus Indianapolis.

The Jaguars managed two first downs in the first half of Sunday's game, as Henne went 4-of-7 passing for 33 yards with three sacks absorbed. This move will not be temporary. Bortles will be the Jags' starter for the rest of the season.
Sep 21 - 2:43 PM

49ers declared TEs Vernon Davis (ankle, knee) and Vance McDonald (knee) inactive for Week 3 against the Cardinals.

With the 49ers' top two tight ends out, third-year UDFA Derek Carrier can be fired up as a cheap daily option against a Cardinals defense that simply can't cover tight ends. Also inactive for the 49ers are WR Quinton Patton, CB Tramaine Brock, C Marcus Martin, RT Anthony Davis and DT Tank Carradine.
Sep 21 - 2:36 PM

Dennis Pitta was carted off the field with a right hip injury in Sunday's game against the Browns.

The non-contact injury occurred on a swing pass to Pitta out of the backfield. He had three catches for 12 yards before exiting. While being carted away, Pitta was in a ton of pain. There would seem to be very little chance he returns today. It's worth noting Pitta fractured and dislocated his right hip last year.
Sep 21 - 2:08 PM

LeSean McCoy has been cleared to return to Sunday's game against the Redskins.

It's a pleasant surprise after McCoy appeared very dazed due to a helmet-to-helmet hit from Redskins CB David Amerson. McCoy had two carries for 10 yards and no catches when he went to the locker room.
