Coach Marc Trestman stopped short of "anointing" Marquess Wilson the Bears' new No. 3 receiver, but indicated he is expecting a second-year leap.

"He showed that we can work with him and develop him," Trestman said of Wilson. "He’s got the football intelligence that we’re looking for and the ability to be flexible within the offense." The Bears cut Earl Bennett because they believe Wilson offers more upside. He's an ideal Dynasty hold, and could make a 2014 re-draft impact if Brandon Marshall or Alshon Jeffery goes down.

Jay Ajayi (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Sep 20 - 4:23 PM

Jimmy Graham (ankle) is not practicing Wednesday.

Coach Pete Carroll said earlier this week that Graham will be questionable for Week 3 against the Titans. He's battling both knee and ankle issues and has just nine receiving yards through two games. Luke Willson and Nick Vannett would carry the load if Graham sits. Neither is a fantasy play.
Sep 20 - 3:53 PM

Speaking Wednesday, coach Jay Gruden said Jordan Reed (chest, toe) is "not healthy right now."

Reed didn't practice Wednesday as he deals with a chest injury. That's on top of a broken toe that he's been battling since summer. Reed has 11 catches for 84 yards on 14 targets through two games against a pair of tough opponents in the Eagles and Rams. It's unclear what Gruden's words mean for Reed's Week 3 status against the Raiders, but he'll be a TE1 if he's out there.
Sep 20 - 3:46 PM

Rob Kelley (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Kelley left Week 2 with a ribs issue, but he's merely dealing with a bruise. Though painful, Kelley is expected to play against the Raiders on Sunday night. With Samaje Perine and Chris Thompson's impressive performances against the Rams last week, it's unclear how this backfield is going to shake out.
Sep 20 - 3:45 PM

Kelvin Benjamin (ribs. knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Benjamin got crunched in the end zone against the Bills, but he stayed in the game. He admitted he's just sore. With Greg Olsen (foot) on I.R., Benjamin could be in for a heavy spike in targets as a possible Week 3 breakout.
Sep 20 - 2:27 PM

Sam Bradford (knee) is practicing Wednesday.

Take a deep breath, Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook, and Adam Thielen owners. As long as Bradford doesn't have any setbacks and his knee responds well to practice this week, he'll be out there against the Bucs on Sunday. Obviously, Bradford avoiding setbacks isn't something to take for granted.

Jordan Reed (chest) is not practicing Wednesday.

Speaking Monday, coach Jay Gruden said Reed was day to day with a bruised chest. He's started the year with two tough matchups against the Eagles and Rams but gets a dream spot against the Raiders on Sunday night.

Jarvis Landry (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

Landry popped up on the injury report with a knee issue last Friday, but ultimately played against the Chargers and led the Dolphins with 13 catches for 78 yards on 15 targets. It could just be a rest day for Landry, who was riding the bike at practice. We'll update Landry again no later than Thursday.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: Landry currently owns the lowest air yards per target in the league (3.2). On the opposite end of the spectrum, DeVante Parker is 5th with 18.3 air yards per target and he accounted for 47.7% of the team's total air yards (2nd). A popular breakout candidate, Parker has a beautiful matchup with the Jets secondary this weekend. Last week, Cutler aimed for Landry a ton due to Parker's tough draw against Casey Hayward; this time around, he'll be looking for Parker. Most importantly, he'll be looking for him deep downfield. Parker could be in for a massive game.
Sep 20 - 1:30 PM

Terrance West (thigh) is not practicing Wednesday.

West played just 15 snaps to Buck Allen's 43 in Week 2, and this is part of the reason. West was able to get into the end zone before leaving the game. If he misses, Allen will be a borderline RB1 against the Jaguars in London.
Sep 20 - 1:23 PM

Tyler Eifert (knee, back) is not practicing Wednesday.

Eifert has been a total bust through two weeks, notching just four catches for 46 yards on five targets. He's become a bench stash at best as a chronically injured player in a broken offense. C.J. Uzomah (ankle) is back at practice.
Sep 20 - 1:07 PM

Rex Burkhead (ribs) is not practicing Wednesday.

Burkhead was forced to leave Week 2 against the Saints after scoring a first-half touchdown on five touches. Dion Lewis played more in his absence.
