Seahawks LT Russell Okung recently underwent foot surgery.

It might be related to the toe issue that sidelined Okung for the first eight games of last season. Russell Wilson's blind-side protector is expected back for training camp, but durability continues to be an issue here. Okung has missed 16 games through four NFL seasons.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Russell Wilson (knee, ankle) is "expecting to play" Week 4 against the Jets.

Wilson is really banged up -- battling a high-ankle sprain in his right leg and a reported sprained MCL in his left -- but early word is he's going to give it a go next Sunday. It's obviously way early to assume these things, and we should know more after his MRI on Monday. Consider him day to day for now.

Darren Sproles lost one yard on two carries and caught all six of his targets for 126 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

Sproles led Philadelphia in targets, catches and receiving yards. The highlight of his afternoon, and the Eagles’ day in general, was a magnificent 73-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter. Carson Wentz improvised on the play, scrambling toward the right sideline before finding Sproles wide open about 25 yards up the field. Sproles crossed the goal-line untouched after weaving through a maze of defenders in the Steelers’ secondary. Fantasy owners can’t bank on his usage but Sproles is among the best gadget players in football and is always a threat to take it in for six. He’ll get a bye before facing the Lions in Week 5.
Sep 25 - 9:19 PM

Todd Gurley rushed 27 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' Week 3 win over the Bucs.

He lost five yards on his lone reception. In a moment equal to man discovering fire, Gurley and the Rams discovered touchdowns. His scores were both one-yard bunnies. It was hardly an elite day, with Gurley managing just 3.14 yards per pop. His 2016 average now sits at 2.90 through 63 totes. Things are unlikely to get much better in Week 4, where the Rams will be traveling to take on the Cardinals' strong run defense, one smarting from an embarrassing loss to the Bills. Gurley will be a low-end RB1 who needs touchdowns to provide value.

Carson Wentz completed 23-of-31 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns and rushed once for 10 yards Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

During the first couple games it was hard to tell if Wentz was a phenom or just a guy blessed with two incredible matchups against the lowly Browns and Bears. After beating the stuffing out of a Pittsburgh team regarded as one of the best in football, we can all agree that Wentz, the man Jon Gruden once pummeled with pool noodles on national television, is indeed for real. In his third career start, Wentz vastly outplayed future Hall of Famer Ben Roethlisberger. He spread the wealth, connecting with seven different receivers en route to his first 300-yard game. 102 passes into his NFL career, Wentz has yet to throw an interception. Staked to a 31-point lead through three quarters, Wentz spent most of the second half handing the ball off to running backs not named Ryan Mathews. The Pride of Fargo will have a bye next week before taking his act on the road against Detroit in Week 5.
Sep 25 - 8:25 PM

Ryan Mathews lost five yards on two rushes Sunday in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Steelers.

Mathews didn’t play a snap after the first quarter as his backfield mates took turns embarrassing Pittsburgh in a lopsided victory. The Eagles haven’t explained his absence, though we’re guessing it’s related to an ankle issue he’s been dealing with since training camp. Mathews has averaged just 3.15 yards per carry this year, though he's managed to stay relevant in fantasy with a trio of goal-line touchdowns. He has the bye week to heal up before the Eagles head to Detroit in Week 5.
Sep 25 - 8:22 PM

Jeremy Maclin caught 4-of-7 targets for 35 yards in the Chiefs' Week 3 win over the Jets.

Maclin and the entire passing game was allowed to rest on their laurels with the Jets spinning their wheels in the second half, but Maclin missed a couple opportunities before the break to have a much bigger game. He had a long pass down the right sideline bounce off his shoulder pads, and he failed to get his head around on another long pass down the seam on the next play. Either play would have made his line look a lot better. Despite the mediocre day, Maclin is as solid a WR2 as there is in the game. He should be starting in most leagues against the Steelers next Sunday night.

Redskins CB Bashaud Breeland has a high right ankle sprain.

Breeland left Sunday's win over the Giants in the first few minutes and did not return. High ankle sprains tend to be multi-week injuries. The Redskins are very thin at cornerback and figure to now turn to third-round rookie Kendall Fuller in their nickel package alongside Josh Norman and Dashaun Phillips.
Sep 25 - 7:57 PM

Melvin Gordon rushed 16 times for 35 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' 26-22, Week 3 loss to the Colts, adding four catches for 43 yards on seven targets.

In a dream spot against a horrific Colts defense, Gordon was a mild disappointment, though he was able to save his fantasy day with a one-yard touchdown plunge. The Colts had been eviscerated by opposing running backs Weeks 1 and 2, but held Gordon to just 2.2 YPC. Gordon played a ton on passing downs, but Philip Rivers threw one ball at his feet and overshot him on what should have been a walk-in 16-yard touchdown on a screen pass. Gordon will be in an elite spot once again Week 4 when San Diego hosts the Saints on a short week.
Sep 25 - 7:52 PM

Tyler Lockett was not targeted in the Seahawks' Week 3 win over San Francisco.

Lockett entered this game listed as questionable with a knee injury, but his health was not an issue. He returned a punt 62 yards and nearly took it to the house, but simply wasn't a big part of the passing game on a day where Doug Baldwin (8-164-1) and Jimmy Graham (6-100-1) did the heavy lifting. Lockett will continue to be a volatile fantasy option in the Seahawks' offense. His yardage totals through three games are 17, 99, and 0.
Sep 25 - 7:47 PM

T.Y. Hilton caught 8-of-11 targets for 174 yards and one touchdown in the Colts' 26-22, Week 3 win over the Chargers.

Hilton did battle against Chargers rising star CB Jason Verrett for much of the day, but got the better of him when all was said and done. Hilton made a slick grab deep down the sideline with Verrett draped on him in the third quarter, and then accounted for the game-winning 63-yard score late in the fourth quarter, running right by the defense down the middle. The knee "injury" that had Hilton listed questionable proved to be a non-issue. Hilton will be a WR1/2 next week when the Colts travel to London to face the Jaguars.
Sep 25 - 7:46 PM

Eric Decker caught 1-of-6 targets for 31 yards in the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

And with this horrendous performance by the Jets offense, Decker’s streak of 18 consecutive games with 80 yards or a touchdown is snapped. Decker had just one target in the first half, and he did not get his first catch until early in the fourth quarter. Decker was targeted in the end zone in the second half, but Eric Berry went up high to break up the pass. Ryan Fitzpatrick was terrible Sunday, and it will not get any easier with the Seahawks coming to town next week. Still, Decker will be a good bet to start a new streak in that game.
