Chiefs LT Eric Fisher (sports-hernia operation, shoulder) has been limited to individual drills in OTAs.

Fisher is missing out on valuable first-team reps as he makes the transition to the blindside, but remains on track to be ready for training camp.

Keenan Allen caught 9-of-13 targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 8 loss to the Broncos.

The touchdown — as you may have heard — was Allen's first of the season. Allen could have had his second 10-catch effort of the year, but committed a drop. He was also the target on one of Philip Rivers' two interceptions. Allen showed why he was so highly valued in summer drafts, putting on a clinic as a route runner against the Broncos' elite secondary. He'll enter San Diego's Week 9 trip to Miami the owner of a 43/427/1 line on 65 targets. There is WR2 hope still.

Ronnie Hillman rushed 20 times for 109 yards in the Broncos' Week 8 win over the Chargers, catching 3-of-4 targets for an additional 29 yards.

The 138 yards from scrimmage were Hillman's most in his three games as starter, but it's his amazingly-bad touchdown luck that will have owners talking on Friday. Hillman had five potential scores wiped away by happenstance and shenanigans. In no particular order, Hillman: Lost a touchdown by stepping out of bounds, had a score wiped out by holding, lost a shot at a goal-line carry thanks to a botched snap and watched Juwan Thompson vulture not one, but two TDs. The good news, if you want to look at it that way, is that Hillman was in position for so many touchdowns, and continues to run circles around the work Montee Ball did before going down with a groin injury. Ball will have a role when he returns, but it's getting harder to believe it won't be as Hillman's caddie.
Oct 23 - 11:56 PM

Antonio Gates caught 5-of-8 targets for 54 yards and two touchdowns in San Diego's Week 8 loss to the Broncos.

The scores were Gates' eighth and ninth of the season. Six of those have come in his past four games. Gates is now just one touchdown away from his first 10-score campaign since 2010. The TDs weren't Gates' only accomplishment this evening, as the yards gave him 9,610 for his career, moving him past Lance Alworth (9,584) as the Bolts' all-time leader. Gates will enter San Diego's Week 9 trip to Miami the owner of 751 lifetime catches, and 96 career touchdowns.
Oct 23 - 11:51 PM

Emmanuel Sanders caught 9-of-9 targets for 120 yards and three touchdowns in Denver's Week 8 win over the Chargers.

Sanders added one rush for six yards. Sanders entered the game with only one touchdown, but exited it by joining Brandon Marshall as the only receivers to notch three-score games this season. Sanders' first TD came as he simply ran around long enough to get open in the end zone. For the second, he toasted Richard Marshall for a 31-yard catch-and-run. The third was a simple slant he caught in the painted area. The only blemish was a fumble that the Broncos thankfully recovered. Sanders will enter the Broncos' Week 9 trip to New England the owner of a 47/634/4 line, and as a legit WR1.
Oct 23 - 11:45 PM

Philip Rivers completed 30-of-41 passes for 252 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in San Diego's 35-21, Week 8 loss to the Broncos.

Going up against the Broncos' daunting pass rush, Rivers had his worst game of the season. The multi-turnover effort was his first of 2014, while his 6.15 YPA was his lowest of the year by nearly half a yard. Rivers had little time to throw, and made some "old school" Rivers decisions as a result. Both of his interceptions were passes that should not have been thrown, but especially the second. Rivers launched a Norv Turner-style bomb into double coverage to Malcom Floyd, and it was easily picked by Rahim Moore. Coming off a grueling five-day stretch — and back-to-back losses — Rivers now has 10 days to rest up for San Diego's Week 9 trip to Miami.
Oct 23 - 11:39 PM

Trent Richardson (hamstring) remained sidelined at Colts practice Thursday.

The plan had been for Richardson to return on Thursday, so Friday has become all important for his Week 8 status. If he can't get in at least a limited session, he'll be looking very dicey for Sunday's game against the Steelers.
Oct 23 - 5:44 PM

Jimmy Graham (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

Graham will likely remain limited on Friday ahead of earning a "questionable" tag for Sunday's game against the Packers. Barring a setback, Graham is going to play, but his workload will be hard to predict after he was limited to two targets in Week 4. With Graham's upside so immense, he's Rotoworld's No. 4 tight end for Week 8 despite his dodgy health.
Oct 23 - 4:13 PM

DeAngelo Williams (ankle) will miss Week 8, but the Panthers are "hopeful" he can return for next Thursday's game against the Saints.

Sunday will be D-Will's fourth-straight absence. He's yet to resume practicing, so a Week 9 return is far from a sure thing. The injury-prone Williams is a weak stash in 10-12 team re-draft leagues.
Oct 23 - 3:43 PM

Speaking Thursday, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley confirmed Denard Robinson will remain the starting running back for Week 8 even with Toby Gerhart (foot) returning.

Bradley said Gerhart will get "some reps," but Gerhart was being phased out of his starting job even before he started missing games. He'll fight for scraps with Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson behind Shoelace. Robinson is the only Jaguars' runner worth starting for Week 8, though he has a difficult matchup in the Dolphins' solid run defense.
Oct 23 - 3:39 PM

The Ravens aren't concerned about Owen Daniels' (knee) Week 8 status.

Daniels has yet to practice this week, but OC Gary Kubiak says he's "fine." He should return for a limited session on Friday, and earn a "questionable" tag on the injury report. Daniels is in the TE1 discussion against a Bengals team hemorrhaging fantasy points to tight ends.
Oct 23 - 3:36 PM

Martellus Bennett (hamstring) returned to Bears practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

The Unicorn is now on track for Week 8. Bennett hasn't found the end zone since Week 3, but has continued to rack up yards and receptions. With Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery both likely to draw attention from Darrelle Revis on Sunday, Bennett is a decent bet to score his fifth touchdown.
