Dwayne Bowe says he's "made the initiative to be in better shape" this season and is down to 212 pounds.

Bowe's played at 222-225 since entering the league. This offseason, he hired a nutritionist and focused on a diet featuring fish, vegetables, and fewer carbs. Entering his age-30 season, Bowe has made it a point to improve his conditioning in order to continue playing at a high level. We don't expect a big bounce-back season in the box score because he'll be limited by Alex Smith, and the Chiefs' offense going through Jamaal Charles. But Bowe has WR3 appeal.

The NFL insisted it is not trying to reach a settlement with Ezekiel Elliott regarding his delayed six-game suspension.

The Dallas Morning News reported Elliott's camp and the league "discussed the possibility of a settlement," but it sounds like the NFL came away from those discussions disinterested. "We're not looking to make a deal," said league spokesman Joe Lockhart. "We're very confident our arguments will prevail in court." Although we remain skeptical Elliott's suspension will kick in at all this season, Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden are worth stashing in all 12- and 14-team leagues in case the NFL pulls off a win.

Bills LT Cordy Glenn (ankle) has been removed from the injury report.

Glenn has been dealing with ankle/foot issues dating back to last season. He was active the week before Buffalo's bye, but didn't start. There's speculation Glenn may not be returning to a starting role — a highly questionable move given his salary and track record. Glenn and Dion Dawkins are easily Buffalo's best tackles.
Oct 20 - 1:45 PM

Jordan Matthews (thumb) is questionable for Week 7 against the Bucs.

Matthews got in a full practice Friday, putting him on track to play after Buffalo's Week 7 bye. With Charles Clay out, Matthews has a heavy target share, but he doesn't have much upside in an offense that goes through LeSean McCoy. Matthews is on the WR3 map against a Bucs secondary that's allowed second-most pass yards in the league.
Oct 20 - 1:30 PM

Sam Bradford (knee) is out for Week 7 against the Ravens.

It's no surprise as Bradford has yet to resume practicing since aggravating his bruised knee against the Bears in Week 5. Case Keenum will draw another start for the Vikes, though it may not be long before Teddy Bridgewater (knee) gets a chance under center after returning to practice earlier this week.
Oct 20 - 1:27 PM

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said the team needs to "scheme better" to get T.Y. Hilton more involved.

This is likely in response to Hilton's one-catch, 19-yard performance on four targets Monday at Tennessee. Hilton's results have been all over the map this year, ranging from 19 yards in Week 6 to 177 against the Niners in Week 5. That sort of volatility is to be expected with Jacoby Brissett under center, but the fact remains that Hilton is on pace for only 107 targets, which is 49 fewer than he saw last season. Hilton could get the squeaky wheel treatment on Sunday, but will be difficult to trust in a tough matchup with Jacksonville.
Oct 20 - 1:25 PM

Delanie Walker (calf) is questionable for Week 7 against the Browns.

Walker was downgraded to a missed practice after being limited Thursday. He's trending in the wrong direction and looks likely to be rested through Tennessee's Week 8 bye. Jonnu Smith will be a high-upside streamer if Walker sits.
Oct 20 - 1:09 PM

DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is questionable for Week 7 against the Browns.

Murray returned to a limited practice Friday after sitting out on both Wednesday and Thursday. He's looked hobbled all year and Tennessee shouldn't need him to beat the winless Browns. Even if Murray plays, Derrick Henry is likely to lead the backfield in Week 7.
Oct 20 - 1:05 PM

Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly (concussion) is out for Week 7 against the Bears.

Kuechly was concussed last Thursday night against the Eagles in Week 6 and hasn't yet passed protocol. He's expected to see a doctor Monday, which could put him on track for Week 8. Kuechly's absence will provide a big boost to offensive focal point Jordan Howard for the Bears.
Oct 20 - 1:00 PM

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is questionable for Week 7 against the Bears.

Coach Ron Rivera said Benjamin is more "probable" than anything. Benjamin's knee flared up earlier in the week, keeping him out of practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning for Friday's light session. He's a WR2/3 in this tough road matchup. Devin Funchess is knocked down to WR3/4 territory.
Oct 20 - 12:54 PM

Marqise Lee (knee) returned to practice Friday and is questionable for Week 7 against the Colts.

Lee sat out Wednesday and Thursday and is looking like a possible game-time call for Sunday. He and Leonard Fournette are both questionable. If Fournette sits and Lee plays, Lee could see increased looks. If both sit, Chris Ivory and Allen Hurns would be the focal points of the offense.
Oct 20 - 12:30 PM

Leonard Fournette (ankle) is questionable for Week 7 against the Colts.

Fournette didn't practice at all this week, though he did do some running off to the side. Some coaches make rookies practice at least one day for them to be active on Sundays, but we doubt the Jaguars are like that with their best player. For now, Fournette has to be considered a game-time decision. Chris Ivory would make for a fine RB2 play if Fournette is unable to go.
