Marshawn Lynch has officially reported to Seahawks camp.

The Seahawks didn't blink, and Beast Mode lost his resolve after only a week. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Seattle is expected to add "some financial concessions to (Lynch's) contract," but it's likely just the forgiveness of his massive fine. Lynch's holdout was so short that it shouldn't affect his Week 1 preparation. He remains a solid second-round pick in re-draft leagues.

Dalvin Cook (ACL) said he has resumed jogging.

Cook does not have a timeline to resume football activities, but this update suggests he is right on schedule in his recovery. It is unlikely he gets in any work during OTAs, but he has a shot to be ready for training camp. Cook had 444 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in four games as a rookie.

Panthers promoted DL coach Eric Washington to defensive coordinator.

The news comes from the Charlotte Observer's Jourdan Rodrigue. Washington has coached Carolina's defensive line for the last seven seasons. He was reportedly out of contract following 2017, but the Panthers worked hard to re-sign him with ex-DC Steve Wilks expected to land a head coaching job, which he eventually did in Arizona.

Cardinals hired ex-Panthers DC Steve Wilks as head coach.

The deal has yet to be announced, but there are enough reports to make it official. Wilks has just one season of coordinating experience, but he was the assistant head coach in Carolina before that and clearly wowed the Cardinals during the interview process. Panthers LBs coach Al Holcomb is expected to join Wilks in Arizona as his defensive coordinator, and Eagles QBs coach John DeFilippo has been linked with the offensive coordinator job.

Teddy Bridgewater said he "definitely" sees himself as a starter in 2018.

The Vikings have big decisions to make at quarterback with all three of Bridgewater, Case Keenum, and Sam Bradford headed to free agency. The best-case scenario for the Vikings would be to re-sign Bridgewater as a backup for either Keenum or Bradford, but it sounds like he wants a real shot at a No. 1 job. Of course, that opportunity may prove difficult to find considering he has attempted two passes since 2015 because of a serious knee injury. Bridgewater's market will be one of the more interesting to monitor this spring.

The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe reports the Patriots are "optimistic" Rob Gronkowski (concussion) will be cleared for the Super Bowl.

Gronkowski suffered the concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit from Jaguars S Barry Church late in the first half of the AFC Championship Game win. With two weeks to gain clearance, it would be a surprise if he is not available for the Super Bowl, but clearing the protocol can be tricky. Gronkowski's health will be one of the major storylines over the next two weeks.

Jets promoted QBs coach Jeremy Bates to offensive coordinator.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports they are "expected" to promote Bates, which means it is going to happen. It is a quick turnaround for Bates, who spent several years out of the league after a rocky one-year stint as Seattle's coordinator in 2010. He clearly made an impression in his first year with the Jets, however, and reportedly "had a significant role" in game-planning under ex-OC John Morton. No matter how good of a coach he is, Bates' success will hinge on the Jets' ability to find a quarterback.

The Tennessean reports the Titans will not retain DC Dick LeBeau.

It is not a surprise after the Titans hired ex-Texans DC Mike Vrabel to run the team. One of the best coordinators in NFL history, LeBeau did not coach elite units in his two years with the Titans, but the defense did show signs of improvement in 2017. LeBeau can clearly still coach, but it is possible the 80-year-old calls it a career.

Tom Brady said he will get the stitches in his hand removed this week.

The gash did not end up affecting his play in the AFC Championship Game, but it sounds like he narrowly missed suffering a serious injury. "I was fortunate not to tear any ligaments or anything like that," Brady said on the "Kirk and Callahan" radio show. "It turned out to be a lot good luck it wasn't more serious than it was." Brady should be 100 percent for the Super Bowl.

Nick Foles underwent "precautionary" X-rays on his ribs following Sunday's NFC Championship game win.

Per ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, Foles' injury "doesn't appear serious," and the X-rays truly appear precautionary. Foles likely experienced routine soreness following Sunday's stunning blowout, although it wasn't for a lack of pass protection. The Eagles held the Vikings' vaunted pass rush to just five QB hits and one sack in the 38-7 rout. "I'm good, I'm good," Foles assured after the tests.

Adam Thielen caught 3-of-9 targets for 28 yards in the Vikings' NFC Championship game loss to the Eagles.

Thielen is believed to have played this game with transverse process fractures in his back, helping to explain his ineffectiveness. It was a whimpering end to a terrific campaign for Thielen, who caught five-plus passes in 13-of-16 regular season games en route to a stellar 91/1,276/14.0/4 stat line. Although Thielen is sometimes described by the public and/or TV announcers as "not that fast," he ran 4.45 coming out of college and is averaging over 14 yards per catch in the pros. Forever underrated, 27-year-old Thielen has a bright future as a consistent WR2 in fantasy leagues.

Jerick McKinnon rushed 10 times for 40 yards and caught 11-of-12 targets for 86 yards in the Vikings' NFC Championship game loss to the Eagles.

As the Vikings fell out of this game early, McKinnon wound up with more volume than usual in catch-up mode, severely out-snapping interior grinder Latavius Murray. McKinnon’s 2017 emergence as a playmaking RBBC member helped keep Minnesota’s running game afloat following Dalvin Cook’s ACL tear, as McKinnon set career highs in rushing yards (570) and all receiving categories (51/421/8.3/2) in a timeshare with Murray. Now up for free agency, McKinnon should be a relatively hot commodity due to his all-purpose skill set. He turns 26 in May.
