Ravens CB Lardarius Webb (back) is expected to miss at least the first two preseason games.

Webb has been sidelined with back spasms since the second day of camp, but tests revealed no structural damage. "He's just got some things going on in there, they're not long-term things," said coach John Harbaugh. Back spasms are fairly common. We suspect Webb will be fine for Week 1.

Colts signed RB Stevan Ridley.

It's an acknowledgment of how desperately little the Colts have behind 33-year-old starter Frank Gore. Ridley couldn't beat out Zach Zenner in Detroit, and was cut after taking the ball nine times for 27 yards (3.0 YPC) in two preseason games. We'd say he doesn't have good roster odds, but his "competition" is Bob Turbin, Jordan Todman and Josh Ferguson. There's a decent chance he'll crack Indy's dilapidated running back corps.

Chiefs holdout S Eric Berry reported to the team's facility on Sunday.

Berry staged a lengthy holdout after failing to reach a long-term deal with the Chiefs this offseason but is ready to get back to playing football. It may take Berry a few days to get up to speed but he should be ready for the Chiefs' season opener in two weeks. The 27-year-old was a first-team All-Pro last season and also earned Comeback Player of the Year honors.

Falcons signed SS Dashon Goldson, formerly of the Redskins.

Goldson must have looked good at Saturday's workout because it took the Falcons less than 24 hours to sign him. It's a smart deal for Atlanta with rookie Keanu Neal slated to miss 3-4 weeks after undergoing a knee scope. Despite his All-Pro pedigree, the 31-year-old Goldson will likely begin the year backing up Kemal Ishmael at strong safety.

Jared Goff suffered a bruised tailbone in Saturday's preseason game.

X-rays confirmed no fracture. Goff had another rough night against the Broncos, completing just 4-of-12 passes 45 yards. He's looked fragile throughout August and clearly isn't ready to take the reigns as L.A.'s starting quarterback. Considering what the Rams gave up for him (and who's ahead of him on the depth chart), Goff's play this preseason has been a major disappointment.

Raiders coach Jack Del Rio insisted Latavius Murray's reduced playing time in the third preseason game was not indicative of Murray's starting job coming into question.

Murray took a backseat as rookies DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard ran with the Derek Carr group. Del Rio insists Murray is not falling into a committee, saying "we saw (Latavius) last year. We need to find out who will be the backup." Both rookies shined, with Washington totaling 53 yards and a touchdown on 11 touches and Richard parlaying nine touches into 42 yards. Washington is a recommended handcuff for Murray in all leagues.

After Delanie Walker left the Titans' third preseason game due to "not feeling right," coach Mike Mularkey assured that Walker is "fine."

Walker exited in the first quarter due to a "loss of breath," but apparently it was an innocuous scare. While Tajae Sharpe has been ripping up August, Walker has managed one preseason catch for nine yards. He remains a top-ten TE1.

Brandon Marshall was held out of the Jets' third preseason game due to a "sore hip."

Coach Todd Bowles said the decision to hold out Marshall was made on Friday. "I just need him ready for opening day and I think he'll be fine," said Bowles. Marshall has a history of hip problems, so this might be something to keep an eye on. Marshall will be 32 1/2 years old when the season starts.

DeAndre Washington rushed eight times for 55 yards and caught a six-yard touchdown in the Raiders' third preseason game.

With Washington and Jalen Richard competing for a backup job, the Raiders gave both plenty of work with the first-team Saturday night. Washington seemed to be the front-runner for the job, seeing snaps early in the first possession and capping off the drive with a six-yard touchdown. He also saw extensive work in the red zone at the end of the first half. Washington looked explosive with the ball in his hands Saturday, sprinting through a big hole for a 31-yard gain in the second quarter. He did lose a fumble in the second half, but he was hung out to dry by backup QB Matt McGloin. If Washington wins the backup job, he should push Latavius Murray for work early in the season.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Saturday night he believes Kenneth Dixon's knee injury is "not overly serious."

The Ravens are sending Dixon for a Sunday MRI to be sure. Before going down, Dixon looked terrific with 41 yards on six carries, and afterward a Ravens beat writer said Dixon has looked like one of Baltimore's top runners in camp. Dixon appeared to have received a depth chart promotion, running with the first-team offense. He should be considered questionable for Week 1.

Colts UDFA RB Josh Robinson managed four yards on five carries but caught 3-of-4 targets for 28 yards in the third preseason game.

Ferguson has 18 preseason carries for 13 yards. He did show burst when the Colts finally got him into space Saturday night, breaking off a 16-yard gain on a screen pass. Ferguson struggled in blitz pickup again, however, and is probably not going to open the season as Indianapolis' No. 2 back.

Colts LG Jack Mewhort is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in Saturday night's preseason game.

It's an enormous loss for Indianapolis. A top-ten guard last season per Pro Football Focus' grades, Mewhort is one of the Colts' most experienced and best linemen as the anchor between LT Anthony Castonzo and rookie C Ryan Kelly. The Colts are also dangerously thin on the line. Offensive line play remains the biggest obstacle for Indianapolis' skill-position players in fantasy.
