Jordan Reed (hamstring) is questionable for Week 10 against the Vikings.

Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is also questionable for Week 10. Reed got the day off from practice on Friday after getting in limited sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. We'd guess he's on the wrong side of questionable for Sunday. Vernon Davis would be upgraded to TE1 status if Reed sits.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Chargers believe Melvin Gordon (knee) has a "legitimate chance" to return Saturday against the Ravens.

As does Ian Rapoport, who tweeted Gordon was expected to return for Week 16 on Sunday morning. With Austin Ekeler (neck) also expected to return, the Chargers' backfield should be at full strength. Even in a tough matchup, Gordon will be a locked-in RB1 if he suits up.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Chargers believe there is a "legitimate chance" Keenan Allen (hip) plays Saturday against the Ravens.

Allen reportedly did not suffer any structural damage after coming down hard on his hip last Thursday. With the Chargers squarely in the mix for the No. 1 seed, it is likely Allen is pushed to play if he is anywhere close to 100 percent. Allen will be a risky fantasy start if he is active, but his weekly target upside would be too big to pass up as a WR3 even in a tough matchup.
Dec 17 - 9:02 AM

Tyler Lockett caught both of his targets for 45 yards in the Seahawks' Week 15 overtime loss to the 49ers.

Outside of his 28-yard grab, Lockett had a very forgettable game with Russell Wilson finding Doug Baldwin for two touchdowns and with both Chris Carson and Mike Davis setting new career highs for receptions. Lockett is a candidate to have a rebound game next week with the Chiefs on deck, but Lockett has been largely touchdown dependent this season as a WR3.
Dec 16 - 9:19 PM

Doug Baldwin (hip) caught 4-of-6 passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' Week 15 overtime loss to the 49ers.

Baldwin looked healthy, especially after 49ers CB Ahkello Witherspoon left the game in the first quarter. Just minutes after Witherspoon was sent to the locker room, Baldwin scored an easy touchdown with a backup rookie chasing him around. Baldwin then caught a 35-yard touchdown thanks to another poor job by the 49ers secondary. With the Chiefs coming to town, Baldwin will have an elevated ceiling in a game that should be more high scoring than the typical Seahawks contest, but inconsistent volume will keep Baldwin as an upside WR3.
Dec 16 - 9:10 PM

Mike Davis rushed five times for 21 yards and caught 8-of-8 targets for 63 yards in the Seahawks' Week 15 overtime loss to the 49ers.

Russell Wilson must have loved the matchups his running backs had against the 49ers because both Chris Carson and Davis set career highs in receptions on Sunday. Davis remained firmly behind Chris Carson as a runner however, so Davis is only a speculative add in deeper PPR leagues with the Chiefs coming to Seattle in Week 16. Rashaad Penny will need to be ruled out once again for Davis to have any chance at a repeat performance.
Dec 16 - 9:04 PM

Chris Carson rushed 22 times for 119 yards and one touchdown and caught 6-of-6 targets for 29 yards in the Seahawks' Week 15 overtime loss to the 49ers.

Carson was featured as a runner once again, but he also set career highs in targets and receptions with the Seahawks trailing at half. Entering the game, Carson only had 13 receptions across 11 games, so this will likely end up being an outlier performance, but it is notable that the Seahawks could be in similar game script as they were this week with the high-flying Chiefs coming to town. With Carson gobbling up 15-20 carries per week, he will an upside RB2 in Week 16.
Dec 16 - 8:55 PM

Russell Wilson completed 23-of-31 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' Week 15 overtime loss to the 49ers.

This was a game the Seahawks should have won but personal fouls and sloppy defense cost them the win. The offense looked good for most of the game however. Wilson was able to pick on the backup corners which led to two easy touchdowns, and Chris Carson picked up 119 yards on 22 carries. Wilson can still pop for bigger fantasy lines as a passer, but it's hard for him to have a huge ceiling when he's not running the ball like he used to. Wilson will still be a QB1 in next week's home matchup against the Chiefs.
Dec 16 - 8:37 PM

George Kittle caught 3-of-8 targets for 51 yards in the 49ers' Week 15 overtime win over the Seahawks.

This was Kittle's worst fantasy game since Week 6 at Green Bay, but it was very close to another big day. Kittle found space down the seam, but Nick Mullens sailed a pass over his head, which cost Kittle a long touchdown. Even without it, Kittle will still finish close to a TE1 this week after picking up 51 yards, and he should bounce back next week against the Bears at home. Kittle will be a top-four option once again as Mullens' top weapon.
Dec 16 - 8:13 PM

Matt Breida suffered an ankle injury in the 49ers' Week 15 win over Seattle.

Breida aggravated the same ankle he's been dealing with for weeks. The injury happened late in the fourth quarter, so it's not clear how much of a setback this is. Breida out-touched Jeff Wilson by a wide margin in his return Sunday, though that may not have been the case if not for a fumble and costly personal foul. We'll have an update on Breida no later than Wednesday.
Dec 16 - 8:12 PM

Dante Pettis caught all five of his targets for 83 yards in the 49ers' Week 15 overtime win over the Seahawks.

Pettis led the 49ers' receivers in targets, receptions, and yards in Sunday's overtime win, and he continues to be a big play waiting to happen. This time around Pettis made a diving play with tight coverage down the sideline for a 30-yard pickup. The rookie receiver and the 49ers offense in general will have a tougher time next week against the Bears, but Pettis has earned WR3/4 treatment as the 49ers No. 1 receiver.
Dec 16 - 8:02 PM

Matt Breida rushed for 50 yards on 17 carries and caught 5-of-5 targets for 46 yards in the 49ers' Week 15 overtime win over the Seahawks.

Breida (ankle) appeared healthy after sitting out in Week 15, and he returned as the clear-cut No. 1 running back for the Niners with Jeff Wilson only collecting eight touches to Breida's 22. Breida's starting role should be safe entering Week 16, especially after Wilson had a fumble and a dropped screen pass on his eight touches. Despite a tough draw against the Bears defense, Breida will be a volume-based RB2 next Sunday. Breida has at least three receptions and 31 yards in four of five games with Nick Mullens as the quarterback.
