According to Senior Bowl director Phil Savage, the Broncos' coaching staff requested Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield be placed on their team at the upcoming Reese's Senior Bowl.

The Broncos are clearly high on the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and want to see him up close and personal at the Senior Bowl, scheduled for January 27 in Mobile, Alabama. Denver's staff will coach one of the two teams with Houston getting the other. The Broncos struggled to a miserable 5-11 record in 2017, in large part due to their instability at quarterback. Rotoworld's Josh Norris had Denver selecting Mayfield fifth overall in his latest mock draft.

Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed Cooper Kupp (knee) is out for Week 7 against the 49ers.

Kupp's knee injury looked much worse than it was, though he's still dealing with an MCL sprain, which is usually a multi-week injury. The second-year slot man has played well this season but the Rams still have plenty of receiving weapons including Todd Gurley, Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks. Consider Kupp week to week.

T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) is practicing in full for Week 7 against the Bills.

Hilton appears to be over the hamstring injury that has sidelined him the past two weeks. His return is great news for Andrew Luck, who has dealt with a depleted receiving corps the past two weeks. Hilton gets a tough matchup against Bills corner Tre'Davious White in his first game back, but he's still worthy of WR2 consideration.
Oct 17 - 4:06 PM

Isaiah Crowell (foot) did not practice Wednesday.

Crowell was listed with an ankle injury last week, so this could be a new issue for the running back. Crowell played through whatever he was dealing with against the Colts, and we initially expect him to do the same this week.
Oct 17 - 4:00 PM

Robby Anderson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

All three of Quincy Enunwa (ankle), Terrelle Pryor (groin), and Anderson didn't practice Wednesday. It's still early in the week, but this is a lot of missing firepower at wideout, as Enunwa has already been ruled out. We should have a better idea later in the week, but Jermaine Kearse is the only healthy one right now.
Oct 17 - 3:57 PM

Chris Thompson (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Thompson was limited last Wednesday before ultimately being inactive Week 6 against the Panthers. It's too early to say if he'll play versus Dallas.
Oct 17 - 3:09 PM

Ted Ginn (knee) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Ginn missed the Week 5 win over the Redskins before the bye and still isn't ready. Tre'Quan Smith filled in admirably in Ginn's place, catching a pair of long touchdowns, including Drew Brees' 67-yard record-setting score.
Oct 17 - 3:05 PM

Paul Richardson (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

Neither is Jamison Crowder (ankle), but it was already known he'd be sidelined until at least Friday. Richardson has battled numerous injuries through his first five games with the Skins, but he should be okay for Week 7.
Oct 17 - 3:04 PM

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Raheem Mostert over Alfred Morris "isn't permanent."

Shanahan said it worked best against the Packers because Mostert was running well. Mostert showed more in his 12 carries against the Packers than Morris has through six weeks combined. The Niners hung with Green Bay all night and had a real chance to win. They'd be wise to keep rolling with a Matt Breida-Mostert one-two punch. Morris is a total drag on the offense.
Oct 17 - 2:31 PM

Brock Osweiler will start Week 7 against the Lions.

Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) has been ruled out. Osweiler surprisingly went 28-of-44 for a career-best 380 yards and three touchdowns in the overtime win against the Bears last week. He tossed a couple picks, but that's the nature of the beast with him. The Lions don't present as tough of a matchup on paper as the Bears, but Osweiler is by no means a recommended fantasy play.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: Osweiler gets the start again with Tannehill being ruled out, and gets a much better matchup in the Lions than the Bears who he shredded last week. He is still hard to trust for cash games, but at his cheap price in DFS he should be used in tournaments even if his ownership will likely increase after his big game last week.
Oct 17 - 2:21 PM

Free agent WR Rishard Matthews admitted he's unlikely to sign with a team this season.

"Probably not," Matthews said when asked if he'll sign soon. "A lot of teams are turned off by my past as if I have some criminal record. Most likely won't see me until next season." Matthews forced his way out of Tennessee after he wasn't playing enough under new OC Matt LaFleur. He's had workouts with the Jets, Cardinals, and Browns, but all have went in other directions.
Oct 17 - 2:05 PM

Terrelle Pryor (groin) is not practicing Wednesday.

We didn't notice Pryor get injured in the Week 6 win over the Colts, but it's notable with Quincy Enunwa (ankle) also sidelined. If both were to miss, it would be Jermaine Kearse and Robby Anderson carrying the pass offense.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: This could be a pretty criticial injury to monitor this week, as the Jets are already down Quincy Enunwa. Enunwa saw 15 snaps before leaving the game, and after that Kearse saw 59, Anderson 53, and Pryor 44. If Pryor were to miss this week's game then Kearse and Anderson would easily be looking at 10+ targets each, and would be viable for cash games and tournaments.
