ESPN Broncos reporter Jeff Legwold believes the Broncos will release or trade C.J. Anderson this offseason.

Anderson has two years left on his contract at $4.5 million salaries in 2018 and 2019, but the Broncos will suffer zero dead-money hits if they choose to release him. Anderson was one of the overall bright spots on a bad 2017 Broncos team, rushing for 1,000-plus yards for the first time in his career. But, according to Legwold, Denver wants Devontae Booker to be its starter, and Anderson was very critical of the Broncos' move to fire RBs coach Eric Studesville. Anderson just turned 27 on Sunday and wouldn't have a hard time finding a new team.

Marvin Jones (knee) didn't practice on Wednesday.

It's not an encouraging sign for Jones, who sat out the final quarter of Sunday's loss to Chicago due to a bone bruise on his right knee. With Detroit's annual Thanksgiving game coming up next week, the Lions may err on the side of caution by resting Jones in Week 11. If the Lions pursue that course of action, Kenny Golladay would be in for a gigantic workload against the Panthers.
Nov 14 - 4:45 PM

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Coutee was also limited before being held out of Week 9. He expects to return coming of Houston's bye, but his status can't be taken for granted. Even if he plays, Coutee is likely going to be behind DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas for targets.
Nov 14 - 4:36 PM

Lions placed RG T.J. Lang (neck) on injured reserve.

The Lions promoted CB Mike Ford from the practice squad in the corresponding roster move. It's been an injury-plagued year for Lang, who has dealt with back and neck injuries as well as a concussion. Kenny Wiggins will play out the stretch at right guard for Detroit. Assuming the Lions bring him back for 2019, Lang will earn $8.25 million in the final year of his contract.
Nov 14 - 4:33 PM

Chris Carson (hip) was removed from the Week 11 injury report.

This was expected after Carson practiced fully. Carson will start, but there's some concern over his workload coming off injury on a short week. He's a high-upside RB2/FLEX against a Packers defense that allows 121 rush yards per game.
Nov 14 - 4:13 PM

Chris Godwin (ankle) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Godwin didn't appear hurt in last week's loss to Washington, so we'll chalk this up as a maintenance day for the sophomore wideout. If he misses another practice Thursday, then we'll be concerned. Coming off a season-high in yards, Godwin should be in the WR4 mix if he suits up against the Giants Sunday in East Rutherford.
Nov 14 - 4:11 PM

Updating an earlier report, James Conner (concussion) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.

It's unclear if Conner ever actually suffered a concussion, though it's a moot point now as the second-year stud is on track to play Sunday at Jacksonville. With Le'Veon Bell done in Pittsburgh, Conner should be an RB1 the rest of the way.
Nov 14 - 4:10 PM

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said he hopes to have A.J. Green (toe) for Sunday's game with Baltimore.

This may just be coachspeak from Lewis. Green didn't practice Wednesday after sitting out last week. Most reports have him missing at least one more game. It's a longshot Green returns Sunday, but with their playoff chances dwindling, it's possible the Bengals could push Green at less than 100 percent.
Nov 14 - 3:19 PM

Joey Bosa (foot) has been cleared to practice.

He practiced on a limited basis Wednesday. It's the first time Bosa has done anything since training camp. Bosa avoided surgery but has been slow to recover from an early August foot injury. There's a chance he returns for Week 11 against Denver.
Nov 14 - 2:46 PM

Jordy Nelson (knee) could miss Week 11 against the Cardinals.

Coach Jon Gruden said Nelson will be listed as questionable. Nelson is dealing with a knee bruise he suffered in Week 10 against the Chargers. With Nelson banged up and Martavis Bryant (MCL) out, the Raiders promoted Saeed Blacknall from the practice squad.
Nov 14 - 2:37 PM

Royce Freeman (ankle) is practicing Wednesday.

This was expected after Freeman got in a limited practice before Week 9. Freeman should be over the high-ankle sprain that cost him two games coming off Denver's bye. Barring a setback, he'll return to a committee role with Phillip Lindsay for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers.
Nov 14 - 2:07 PM

Joe Flacco (hip) didn't practice Wednesday.

Coach John Harbaugh said Flacco doesn't have to practice to play, but this is obviously a bad sign for his status. It's trending like Flacco is going to miss some time with a hip injury that had him on crutches during the bye. The Ravens have been noncommittal on their Week 11 starter if Flacco sits.
