NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "the belief" is both Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas will remain with the Broncos.

Sanders ($10.9 million) and Thomas ($12.03 million) account for two of Denver's largest cap numbers in 2018, and the Broncos need money to beef up quarterback and the rest of the roster. However, having Sanders and Thomas in the fold will make it easier for GM John Elway to recruit a free agent QB like Kirk Cousins or make life easier on a first-round rookie draft pick. Sanders and Thomas both disappointed in 2017, but the quarterback play was truly dreadful.

Keke Coutee (hamstring) believes there's a "high possibility" he returns for Week 11 against the Redskins.

Coutee missed the final two games before the Texans' Week 10 bye. "I think Keke is trending upwards," coach Bill O’Brien said Monday. "I think Keke’s headed in the right direction." If Coutee is indeed back, he will be a WR4 as the Texans sort out the new target delineation between Coutee, DeAndre Hopkins and Demaryius Thomas.

Aaron Rodgers believes the Packers "need to continue to give [Aaron Jones] more opportunities."

Rodgers has been advocating for Jones all season, and there is no reason for him to stop after the running back broke out for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries against the Dolphins. Jones is already the clear No. 1 in Green Bay, and it sounds like his role could continue to grow. He is almost a must-start this week against the Seahawks.

Stefon Diggs (ribs) told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport he participated in Monday's practice.

"I know I will play," Diggs said on RapSheet's podcast. After sitting out Week 9 and coming off a bye week, Diggs has now had two weeks to heal up. It would be a surprise if he is not ready to face the Bears on Sunday night.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said the arrow is "continually pointing up" for fifth-round RB Jaylen Samuels.

In a game James Conner left early, Samuels saw five carries and four targets against the Panthers last Thursday night. That usage is unlikely to continue with Conner fully expected back this week, but it does make Samuels something of an interesting handcuff, especially since he has tight end eligibility in Yahoo leagues.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said "so be it" if Le'Veon Bell does not report by Tuesday's deadline.

Tomlin added he has not had contact with the running back and has "no reaction" to reports Bell will sit out the rest of the season. This marriage sounds done. It would be a surprise if that does not become official Tuesday afternoon.
Nov 13 - 12:15 PM

Torrey Smith (knee) did not practice Tuesday.

It is a disappointment coming off the mini-bye, but Smith still has time to practice ahead of Carolina's date with the Lions on Sunday. D.J. Moore will continue to serve as the No. 2 while Smith is sidelined.
Nov 13 - 12:11 PM

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said James Conner (concussion) is expected to practice Wednesday.

Conner remains in the concussion protocol, but Tomlin said Wednesday's practice should "lay those discussions to bed." It sounds like Conner will be cleared in the very near future. Assuming Le'Veon Bell does not report Tuesday, Conner will remain an RB1 even in a tough matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Joe Flacco (hip) "does not have to practice to play."

Harbaugh has been adamant Flacco will start if he is healthy enough to play, and that will be the case even if he fails to get in any practice reps this week. "He’s practiced the whole season. He’s practiced for 11 years," Harbaugh said. If Flacco cannot play, the Ravens would likely turn to rookie Lamar Jackson, but it is also possible Robert Griffin III gets the nod.

SNY's Ralph Vacchiano reports Jets GM Mike Maccagnan is not on the hot seat.

Coach Todd Bowles seems all but certain to be fired after the season if he even makes it that far, but "Maccagnan's job doesn't appear to be in danger at all," according to Vacchiano. After trading up for Sam Darnold in March, the Jets apparently want to see what Maccagnan can build with what should be over $100 million in cap space this spring.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) threw without pain on Sunday.

It was the first time Tannehill has thrown in a week. "It seemed like it went well," Gase said. "It’s not like he’s out there throwing 60-yard throws. They have a progression of how they want to do it. They said it was a good first step and he felt good. So that’s a positive." Miami reportedly hopes Tannehill is able to return following the bye, but that is anything but a given.

George Kittle caught 9-of-10 targets for 83 yards in the 49ers' Week 10 loss to the Giants.

Kittle has emerged as a top 3-4 tight end in the league as a sophomore and has really steadied himself as a weekly difference maker. He's the main vein of the passing offense, and the nine grabs and 10 targets set new season bests. Kittle was cooking in the first half with 5-66 on five targets. He later had a catch called back on a penalty. Kittle will get the Bucs in Week 12 after the bye.
