CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports "confidants of [Dolphins owner] Stephen Ross" informed him that Ross "was ready to move on" from DT Ndamukong Suh.

Suh is heading into the fourth year of a six-year, $114 million mega-deal and is set to count a whopping $26.1 million against the Dolphins' salary cap. That's almost $9 million more than the next-closest defensive tackle. Suh just turned 31 last month but remains a legitimate game-wrecking force inside. However, the Dolphins need a lot more than Suh before they start competing for Super Bowls. Designating Suh a post-June 1 cut would save Miami $17 million versus the cap.

Marlon Mack (foot/hamstring) didn't practice on Wednesday.

It's a concern after Mack missed most of training camp and Week 1 with a nagging hamstring injury. Mack must have picked up the foot issue in Sunday's win at Washington. If Mack can't go against the Eagles in Week 3, it would open up backfield work for Jordan Wilkins as well as fellow rookie Nyheim Hines.

T.Y. Hilton (quad) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Hilton appeared to be healthy in Sunday's win against the Redskins, leading the team with 83 receiving yards while playing 55-of-61 offensive snaps. It's likely the Colts are just limiting his practice reps, but obviously Hilton's health will be something to monitor throughout the week. Jack Doyle (hip) and Marlon Mack (foot/hamstring) also sat out Wednesday's practice.

Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) remained limited at Wednesday's practice.

He was limited all last week. Jeffery is working his way back from extensive shoulder surgery. With the Eagles desperate for receiver help and healthy bodies, they could push Jeffery harder than they had originally planned.
Sep 19 - 3:51 PM

Marcus Mariota (elbow) is practicing on Wednesday.

Mariota and Blaine Gabbert split the first-team reps in Wednesday's session, and coach Mike Vrabel said he'd continue to prepare both to play Sunday against the Jaguars. Neither would be a fantasy option whatsoever.
Sep 19 - 3:47 PM

Marquise Goodwin (thigh) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Goodwin is dealing with a bruised thigh suffered in Week 1. Wednesday was his first practice since the injury, putting him on track to return this week in Kansas City. Goodwin would reenter the WR3/4 mix if available.
Sep 19 - 3:46 PM

Giovani Bernard (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Bernard should be fine for his No. 1 duties Week 3 against the Panthers, but it's at least worth monitoring throughout the week. Mark Walton and newly-signed Thomas Rawls are the only other backs on the roster. Neither has played a snap nor been active for game days yet this season.
Sep 19 - 3:44 PM

Eban Engram (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Engram twisted his ankle late in the Week 2 loss to the Cowboys. Despite the return of Odell Beckham and addition of Saquon Barkley, Engram has continued to produce. He has nine grabs for 85 yards and a score so far.
Sep 19 - 3:24 PM

Paul Richardson underwent an MRI on his knee and results came back negative.

Two weeks into the season, and Richardson has already dealt with two separate injuries. He was limited in practice last week with a shoulder issue and was limited on Wednesday with this ailment. Richardson has eight grabs for 85 yards on 12 targets. Chris Thompson (21) and Jordan Reed (13) have been targeted more.
Sep 19 - 3:03 PM

Devonta Freeman (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

As expected. Freeman is fully expected to miss 1-2 more games, leaving Tevin Coleman as the lead back against the Saints, followed by rookie Ito Smith.
Sep 19 - 2:39 PM

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is practicing Wednesday.

Cook left in overtime against the Packers with cramps. He's fine.
