Broncos signed QB Case Keenum, formerly of the Vikings, to a two-year, $36 million contract.

The deal is considerably less than what Kirk Cousins is expected to command. That could be why Denver decided to go with Keenum before even having Cousins in for a visit, or they may have already been out of the running. Either way, they are moving forward with Keenum, who they were interested in trading for a couple years ago and has a relationship with senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak from their days together in Houston. This move should not preclude the Broncos from using the No. 5 overall pick on a quarterback.

Carson Wentz completed 22-of-32 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles' Week 14 overtime loss to the Cowboys.

Dec 9 - 8:41 PM

Ezekiel Elliott rushed 28 times for 114 yards, additionally hauling in 12-of-13 targets for 79 yards in the Cowboys' Week 14 overtime victory against the Eagles.

40. Touches. Elliott's now eclipsed the century mark on the ground in four of his last five games, additionally getting in on the passing game with an average eight targets in that span. His 13 targets Sunday even tied Amari Cooper for the team lead. Always probable to go over the 100-yard mark, Zeke's astonishing workload makes him a matchup-proof top-three option for the rest of the year. He'll stay just that as the Cowboys attempt to clench the division in Week 15 against the Colts.
Dec 9 - 8:12 PM

Justin Jackson rushed seven times for 12 yards in the Chargers' 26-21, Week 14 win over the Bengals.

He added 23 yards on two catches in the passing game. Jackson vastly outplayed Austin Ekeler last week in Pittsburgh, but it was the other way around in this one, with Ekeler starting and turning his 17 touches into 94 yards and a one-yard touchdown plunge. Jackson was a popular plug-and-play, but it didn't work out. He will be Ekeler's 1B on Thursday night against the Chiefs at Arrowhead, provided Melvin Gordon (knee) misses another game.
Dec 9 - 8:08 PM

Courtland Sutton caught 2-of-6 targets for 14 yards in the Broncos' Week 14 loss to the 49ers, also losing a yard on a rush.

It was an epic face plant from the second-round rookie in his first game as the Broncos' No. 1 receiver. Injury was partly to blame, as he was forced to play through an in-game thigh issue. One of his missed connections was an end zone target that arguably could have been brought home for a score. Inconsistent all year, Sutton probably is not ready for the glare of being the opposing defense's No. 1 focus. The Browns, and perhaps lock down rookie Denzel Ward (concussion), are on tap for Week 15.
Dec 9 - 8:03 PM

Philip Rivers completed 19-of-29 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' 26-21, Week 14 win over the Bengals.

Rivers threw a 14-yard touchdown to Keenan Allen on the Bolts' opening drive, but the Cincinnati defense toughened up after that and kept this game competitive. Austin Ekeler scored the only other offensive touchdown, as Mike Badgley settled for four field goals. Rivers came into this one with multiple touchdown passes in all 12 games. That streak is now over heading into a thrilling Week 15 date against the Chiefs at Arrowhead on Thursday night. Rivers will be a QB2.
Dec 9 - 8:03 PM

Dak Prescott completed 42-of-54 passes for a career-high 455 yards, three touchdowns, and two picks in the Cowboys' Week 14 overtime win over the Eagles.

It was an abysmal first half for Prescott and the offense as a whole as Dak committed three turnovers (one fumble, two picks) on his own. The end result was a third-place spot on the Cowboys' all-time list with 455 yards passing. His 42 completions in victory were also good for a new franchise record. All three scores expectedly went to Amari Cooper (10/217/3), who exploded for touchdowns of 28, 75, and 15 yards. Outside of the weekly missed deep-ball to Michael Gallup (4/24), Dallas' target tree has essentially been whittled down to Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott (12/79 receiving) in recent weeks. Now facing a division-clenching situation in Week 15, Prescott will remain a low-end QB1 against the Colts.
Dec 9 - 7:58 PM

Amari Cooper vacuumed 10-of-13 targets for 217 yards and three touchdowns in the Cowboys' Week 14 overtime victory over the Eagles.

It's the fourth time Cooper's eclipsed the century mark this season, and already the second time he's done so since joining the Cowboys. Dallas had a concise blueprint to target Eagles corner Sidney Jones throughout the afternoon, which gave Cooper ample opportunity to dominate downfield — including separating from Jones for a 75-yard catch-and-run touchdown sprint. In his last three games alone, Amari's exploded for touchdowns of 40, 98, 28, and 75 yards. Above-average Amari has already recorded 642 receiving yards with Dallas, nearly tripling his total in six games with Oakland (280). The Cowboys have put themselves in position to clench the NFC East with a sixth-straight victory against the Colts next week, keeping Cooper as a high-usage WR1 in Week 15.
Dec 9 - 7:54 PM

JuJu Smith-Schuster hauled in 8-of-12 targets for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers' Week 14 loss to the Raiders.

Smith-Schuster was the only Steeler who met expectations in the loss, and his best catch of the game came just before halftime. On third-and-goal from the one, Smith-Schuster tipped a high pass into the air at the back of the end zone, caught the pass on the way down, and somehow tapped both toes down for the touchdown. He was mostly shut down along with the rest of the offense with Josh Dobbs at quarterback for most of the second half, but that immediately changed once Ben Roethlisberger returned. Ben missed Smith-Schuster for what should have been a long touchdown, but he made it up to him with a one-yard score to give Pittsburgh back the lead. After the Raiders retook the lead, JuJu took a hook-and-lateral 43 yards to set up what should have been a game-tying field goal, but it was missed. Smith-Schuster now has four touchdowns in his last five games and at least 90 yards in four of those contests. He will be a borderline WR1 next week against the Patriots.
Dec 9 - 7:39 PM

Jeff Wilson rushed 23 times for 90 yards in the 49ers' Week 14 win over the Broncos, adding a six-yard reception.

The fill-in No. 1 back out-touched Alfred Morris 24-3 as the 49ers sprung the home upset. Wilson was not as explosive or involved in the receiving game as last week, but he still helped move the chains as Nick Mullens hit chunk plays in the passing game. Wilson's Week 15 fantasy case will be all about Matt Breida's (ankle) health. If Breida sits, Wilson will have massive upside against the Seahawks' beleaguered run defense.
Dec 9 - 7:38 PM

Austin Ekeler rushed 15 times for 66 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' 26-21, Week 14 win over the Bengals, adding two catches for 28 yards on five targets.

Last week, rookie Justin Jackson vastly outplayed Ekeler in the thrilling win over the Steelers, but coach Anthony Lynn went right back to Ekeler in this one, giving him the start. Ekeler came out hot, ripping 14- and 18-yard runs on two of his first three carries and then finding the end zone from one yard out in the first half. Jackson touched it nine times, producing a measly 35 scoreless yards. Melvin Gordon is inching closer to a return, but the Chargers have a short week ahead of Thursday night against the Chiefs. Ekeler will be an RB2 if Gordon sits.
Dec 9 - 7:37 PM

Chris Boswell slipped and had the potential game-tying kick blocked in the final seconds of the Steelers' Week 14 loss to the Raiders.

It was one of two misses for Boswell on the day, and he has now missed six field goals and five extra point attempts this season. Boswell earned a four-year, $16.7 million extension with a Pro Bowl season in 2017, but he has been dreadful this year. The Steelers might have to look at a change.
