Bears agreed to terms with WR Taylor Gabriel, formerly of the Falcons, on a four-year, $26 million contract.

The deal includes $14 million guaranteed. Gabriel broke the news himself via friend and former NFL receiver Andrew Hawkins. A critical part of the Falcons' explosive 2016 attack, Gabriel took a step back along with the rest of the offense last season, but is still only 27. He's a big play waiting to happen, and a nice piece for a receiver corps that's being rebuilt from scratch. New coach Matt Nagy has experience scheming for similar talents.

Jordan Howard had 19 carries for 101 yards in Chicago's Week 14 win over the Rams.

Howard was outshined by Tarik Cohen in the first half, but he grinded his way to a 100-yard game. Chicago went run heavy protecting their lead in the second half, allowing Howard to rack up 20 touches. Howard still hasn’t scored since Week 9, but he's trending up with 75-plus yards the last two games. He’ll be an RB2 against the Packers’ league-worst run defense in Week 15.
Dec 9 - 11:40 PM

Jared Goff completed 20-of-44 passes for 180 yards and four interceptions in the Rams' Week 14 loss to Chicago.

It was Goff's worst game since his rookie season. One of Goff’s picks was on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. His other three interceptions were staredowns thrown directly into coverage. This was a tough spot for Goff in primetime against the league's best defense on the road. He has a get-right matchup with the Eagles secondary in Week 15.
Dec 9 - 11:33 PM

Austin Ekeler suffered a stinger in Week 14 against the Bengals.

Ekeler has a history of stingers, so this puts his status up in the air on a short week. The Chargers are hoping to get Melvin Gordon (knee) back for Thursday night's matchup with the Chiefs.
Dec 9 - 10:23 PM

Alshon Jeffery hauled in six of his team-high nine targets for 50 yards and one score in the Eagles' Week 14 loss to the Cowboys.

Jeffery's nine targets were the most he's seen since Golden Tate was acquired. His lone touchdown occurred following an interception inside Dallas' own 10-yard line. Tate, on the other hand, took Jeffery's midseason role in being limited to a single catch on three targets. Unless you consider this performance a bounce-back rather than an anomaly, it's hard to fathom Jeffery as anything more than a WR3 against Aqib Talib and the Rams in Week 15.
Dec 9 - 9:00 PM

Josh Adams rushed seven times for 36 yards in the Eagles' Week 14 overtime loss to Dallas.

Adams was the only back to receive more than one carry. It was a horrendous matchup from the get-go for Adams, but it doesn't help that he continues to be an afterthought in the passing game. Seven touches is also an inexplicable drop-off from 22 and 20 in his last two contests. He'll have a much better matchup against the Rams' lackadaisical run defense in Week 15, making him a prime bounce-back flex/DFS option.
Dec 9 - 8:53 PM

Carson Wentz completed 22-of-32 passes for 228 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles' Week 14 overtime loss to the Cowboys.

Wentz was truly awful in the first half as Dallas sluggishly allowed Philly to take the field for only 17 plays. Following Dak Prescott's (second) interception inside his own five-yard line, Wentz got going with a two-yard rocket to Alshon Jeffery (6/50/1). He later hit Nelson Agholor for 42 yards in-stride over Byron Jones, setting up a six-yard dump-off score to Darren Sproles. The Eagles didn't even touch the ball in overtime. It was a valiant effort for Philadelphia, but Wentz ultimately leveraged short second-half field position into an otherwise horrendous showing against the Cowboys' nightmarish pass rush. He's a borderline QB1 against the Rams in Week 15.
Dec 9 - 8:41 PM

Ezekiel Elliott rushed 28 times for 114 yards, additionally hauling in 12-of-13 targets for 79 yards in the Cowboys' Week 14 overtime victory against the Eagles.

40. Touches. Elliott's now eclipsed the century mark on the ground in four of his last five games, additionally getting in on the passing game with an average eight targets in that span. His 13 targets Sunday even tied Amari Cooper for the team lead. Always probable to go over the 100-yard mark, Zeke's astonishing workload makes him a matchup-proof top-three option for the rest of the year. He'll stay just that as the Cowboys attempt to clinch the division in Week 15 against the Colts.
Dec 9 - 8:12 PM

Justin Jackson rushed seven times for 12 yards in the Chargers' 26-21, Week 14 win over the Bengals.

He added 23 yards on two catches in the passing game. Jackson vastly outplayed Austin Ekeler last week in Pittsburgh, but it was the other way around in this one, with Ekeler starting and turning his 17 touches into 94 yards and a one-yard touchdown plunge. Jackson was a popular plug-and-play, but it didn't work out. He will be Ekeler's 1B on Thursday night against the Chiefs at Arrowhead, provided Melvin Gordon (knee) misses another game.
Dec 9 - 8:08 PM

Courtland Sutton caught 2-of-6 targets for 14 yards in the Broncos' Week 14 loss to the 49ers, also losing a yard on a rush.

It was an epic face plant from the second-round rookie in his first game as the Broncos' No. 1 receiver. Injury was partly to blame, as he was forced to play through an in-game thigh issue. One of his missed connections was an end zone target that arguably could have been brought home for a score. Inconsistent all year, Sutton probably is not ready for the glare of being the opposing defense's No. 1 focus. The Browns, and perhaps lock down rookie Denzel Ward (concussion), are on tap for Week 15.
Dec 9 - 8:03 PM

Philip Rivers completed 19-of-29 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers' 26-21, Week 14 win over the Bengals.

Rivers threw a 14-yard touchdown to Keenan Allen on the Bolts' opening drive, but the Cincinnati defense toughened up after that and kept this game competitive. Austin Ekeler scored the only other offensive touchdown, as Mike Badgley settled for four field goals. Rivers came into this one with multiple touchdown passes in all 12 games. That streak is now over heading into a thrilling Week 15 date against the Chiefs at Arrowhead on Thursday night. Rivers will be a QB2.
Dec 9 - 8:03 PM

Dak Prescott completed 42-of-54 passes for a career-high 455 yards, three touchdowns, and two picks in the Cowboys' Week 14 overtime win over the Eagles.

It was an abysmal first half for Prescott and the offense as a whole as Dak committed three turnovers (one fumble, two picks) on his own. The end result was a third-place spot on the Cowboys' all-time list with 455 yards passing. His 42 completions in victory were also good for a new franchise record. All three scores expectedly went to Amari Cooper (10/217/3), who exploded for touchdowns of 28, 75, and 15 yards. Outside of the weekly missed deep-ball to Michael Gallup (4/24), Dallas' target tree has essentially been whittled down to Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott (12/79 receiving) in recent weeks. Now facing a division-clenching situation in Week 15, Prescott will remain a low-end QB1 against the Colts.
