Jaguars agreed to terms with WR Donte Moncrief, formerly of the Colts.

Even with Allen Robinson gone, Moncrief is joining a crowded receiver corps that now includes Marqise Lee, Keelan Cole, Allen Hurns and Dede Westrbook in addition to Moncrief. Perhaps Hurns is still a candidate for release. Of course, coming off back-to-back lost seasons, Moncrief is essentially a flier. Working in Moncrief's favor is his youth (25 in August) and still quite projectable skill-set. From a fantasy perspective, it's hard to see how Moncrief makes an impact in a run-first offense with Blake Bortles at quarterback.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Jon Gruden's system has led to a 'disconnect' in the Raiders' front office.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys are hoping to re-engage the Seahawks in trade talks for FS Earl Thomas.

At one time, Thomas to the Cowboys seemed inevitable but trade talks have died down in recent weeks. Despite this, the Cowboys' interest in Thomas has never waned and with owner Jerry Jones headed to Seattle for Sunday's game, the sides will finally have a chance to meet face to face. The five-time Pro Bowler and Texas native has openly expressed his desire to play in Dallas. Thomas also has a connection to DBs coach Kris Richard, who previously served as the Seahawks' defensive coordinator. He'd be a great fit for the Cowboys, though obviously it's going to take a king's ransom to pry him away from Seattle.

Leonard Fournette (questionable, hamstring) isn't expected to play in Week 3 against Tennessee.

This comes after an earlier report Fournette was likely to play. The Jaguars are playing it safe with Fournette despite getting in a limited week of practice. T.J. Yeldon (questionable, ankle) will start and continue to carry the load in a plus matchup with the Titans' run defense. It's an unexpected turn for Fournette, but he's on track to return in Week 4.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "there's optimism" Marvin Jones (questionable, ankle) plays in Sunday night's game with the Patriots.

Jones was a late addition to the injury report, getting in a limited practice Friday. He'll be monitored throughout the day, but it sounds like the Lions are expecting to play. Jones was getting outsnapped by Kenny Golladay before going down and could see his role scaled back at less than 100 percent. He can't be trusted in Week 3 lineups.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Tyrod Taylor is expected to clear the concussion protocol this week.

It looks like Taylor will be healthy enough to play against Oakland next week, though it would be a surprise and likely a mistake if he drew the start. First overall pick Baker Mayfield dominated against the Jets on Thursday night and gives the Browns a much better chance to win than Tyrod, who was dreadful prior to exiting Week 3. Handing the reins to Baker should be an easy choice, though we can't take anything for granted with Hue Jackson calling the shots in Cleveland.

T.J. Yeldon (questionable, ankle) is expected to play Week 3 against the Titans.

Yeldon will play through his ankle injury and figures to carry the load Sunday with workhorse Leonard Fournette (hamstring) headed for another absence. Tennessee's run defense doesn't pose much of a threat as the Titans have yielded the seventh-most rushing yards per game this season. Yeldon is worth firing up as a borderline RB2 in all fantasy leagues this week.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Giants have benched RT Ereck Flowers.

The Giants had hoped that moving Flowers to the right side would reinvigorate him, but clearly that has not been the case through two games. The 24-year-old has been a complete and utter liability, earning PFF's No. 60 grade out of 68 qualifiers at tackle. Chad Wheeler will spell Flowers at right tackle Sunday against Houston. To quote Gob Bluth, using a first-round pick on Flowers was a huge mistake.

Corey Clement (questionable, quad) is expected to play Week 3 against the Colts.

There was some concern after Clement tweaked his quad at Friday's practice, but luckily it was just a minor setback. Clement should see a substantial workload with Jay Ajayi (back) and Darren Sproles (hamstring) both sidelined for Week 3. That makes him worthy of RB2 consideration in all fantasy formats.
Sep 23 - 8:04 AM

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Josh Gordon (questionable, hamstring) is "no sure thing" to play Week 3 against the Lions.

Gordon got in a limited week of practice but remains a game-time decision coming off a hamstring injury. Per Rapsheet, New England is "preparing for scenarios without him on the field." If Gordon is unable to make his Patriots debut in Week 3, more work will fall on the shoulders of Rob Gronkowski and Chris Hogan.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Aaron Rodgers (questionable, knee) is expected to play Week 3 against the Redskins.

Rodgers didn't see much work in practice this week, but there was never much concern about his status for Sunday's game in Landover. Despite a knee injury that reportedly could take "months" to fully heal, Rodgers was still productive in Week 2, completing over 70 percent of his passes against the Vikings' elite defense. AA-Ron is safe to employ as a QB1 in all formats.
Sep 23 - 8:01 AM

Cole Beasley (ankle) will play in Week 3 against the Seahawks.

Beasley sprained his ankle mid-week and was limited Friday. Even so, he'll be active for the Cowboys in Seattle. Beasley currently leads Dallas' skill players in targets (11) but has an extremely low ceiling given the team's propensity to run early and often. Ezekiel Elliott remains the only matchup-proof weekly starter among Dallas' offense.
