Bears re-signed RCB Prince Amukamara.

A solid-not-spectacular starter for last year's Bears, Amukamara is a sticky cover guy with the ability to excel in both man and zone. He wound up facing a high number of No. 1 wideouts last year and held up well. Amukamara's downfall is his lack of ball skills and penchant for injuries; he's lasted 16 games once in seven NFL seasons and has just one interception over the past three years. Nevertheless, his re-signing gives the Bears a chance to keep their underrated secondary intact with Kyle Fuller on the transition tag, slot CB Bryce Callahan tendered, and Eddie Jackson and Adrian Amos returning at safety.

Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

T.J. Yeldon filled in for Fournette in last week's win over New England but now he's dealing with an injury of his own. Barring an unexpected setback, Fournette should be ready to roll against the Titans in Week 3. He averaged 98.5 yards from scrimmage in his two meetings with Tennessee last season.
Sep 19 - 5:31 PM

Cardinals coach Steve Wilks said Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) will play in Week 3 against Chicago.

Fitzgerald didn't practice Wedneday and may not get many reps during the week. He missed most of the second half with his hamstring issue, but it was never considered serous. The Cardinals' quarterback play is the bigger concern for Fitzgerald's Week 3 matchup.
Sep 19 - 5:01 PM

Titans LT Taylor Lewan (concussion) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

It's a step in the right direction after Lewan didn't practice last week. Barring setbacks, Lewan should return Sunday after missing only one game. It's a needed upgrade to an offensive line playing without RT Jack Conklin.
Sep 19 - 4:46 PM

Updating an earlier report, Dalvin Cook (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday.

Cook injured his hamstring late in Sunday's tie with Green Bay. Soft-tissue injuries can linger but at this point, the Vikings don't seem overly concerned. Fantasy owners shouldn't be either. Assuming he's ready by then, Cook will get a blow-up spot against Buffalo in Week 3.
Sep 19 - 4:30 PM

Julio Jones (calf) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Jones saw close to his normal workload (48-of-63 offensive snaps) in Sunday's win over Carolina, so it's possible this is just a maintenance day. As long as he returns to practice by Friday, Julio should be good to go for Week 3 against New Orleans.
Sep 19 - 4:29 PM

Le'Veon Bell was removed from the Steelers' active roster on the team website.

He's not currently on the active roster; that's why. He is now listed under the Reserve/Franchise Player section. Carry on.
Sep 19 - 4:19 PM

Jack Doyle (hip) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Doyle didn't appear hurt in Sunday's win against the Redskins, so perhaps the Colts are just giving him a maintenance day. Even with Eric Ebron beginning to see more run, Doyle remained close to an every-down player in Week 2, seeing the field on 59-of-61 offensive snaps. Doyle will be a TE2 consideration if he suits up against the Eagles in Week 3.

Marlon Mack (foot, hamstring) didn't practice on Wednesday.

It's a concern after Mack missed most of training camp and Week 1 with a nagging hamstring injury. Mack must have picked up the foot issue in Sunday's win at Washington. If Mack can't go against the Eagles in Week 3, it would open up backfield work for Jordan Wilkins as well as fellow rookie Nyheim Hines.

T.Y. Hilton (quad) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Hilton appeared to be healthy in Sunday's win against the Redskins, leading the team with 83 receiving yards while playing 55-of-61 offensive snaps. It's likely the Colts are just limiting his practice reps, but obviously Hilton's health will be something to monitor throughout the week. Jack Doyle (hip) and Marlon Mack (foot/hamstring) also sat out Wednesday's practice.

Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) remained limited at Wednesday's practice.

He was limited all last week. Jeffery is working his way back from extensive shoulder surgery. With the Eagles desperate for receiver help and healthy bodies, they could push Jeffery harder than they had originally planned.
Sep 19 - 3:51 PM

Marquise Goodwin (thigh) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Goodwin is dealing with a bruised thigh suffered in Week 1. Wednesday was his first practice since the injury, putting him on track to return this week in Kansas City. Goodwin would reenter the WR3/4 mix if available.
