Browns agreed to terms with RB Carlos Hyde, formerly of the 49ers, on a three-year, $15 million contract.

This feels like spending money just to spend it. Hyde went to Ohio State and is from the state, so it's a homecoming of sorts for him. However, he isn't all that different from ex-Brown Isaiah Crowell, who left for the Jets on Tuesday and wasn't used often enough by coach Hue Jackson. The Browns also have Duke Johnson and have been linked to Saquon Barkley at the top of the draft. Hyde is now a top-eight-paid running back in the NFL at $5 million annually. It's going to be really hard to get behind him in fantasy after seeing Crowell's usage last season.

Doug Baldwin (hip) is inactive for Monday night's Week 14 game against the Vikings.

Baldwin wasn't able to practice all week and didn't participate in pregame warmups. He'll be replaced by a combo of Jaron Brown, Malik Turner, and David Moore behind No. 1 wideout Tyler Lockett. Also inactive for the Seahawks are FB Tre Madden, CB Kalan Reed, LB K.J. Wright, C Joey Hunt, OG D.J. Fluker, and DE Branden Jackson. Lockett was WR2 upside in this spot.

Eagles signed RB Boston Scott off the Saints' practice squad.

A Dion Lewis style of player out of Louisiana Tech, Scott stands 5-foot-6, 203 with 4.4-flat speed. This move indicates the Eagles fear Corey Clement (knee) will miss significant time and perhaps the rest of the season.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport named Redskins GM Bruce Allen as a potential candidate for the Raiders' GM vacancy.

RapSheet noted that Jon Gruden has "final say" in the Raiders' organization, and he has longtime ties to Allen from their days together in both Oakland and Tampa Bay. Allen has had an hilariously unsuccessful tenure in Washington for nearly a decade, but cronyism reigns supreme throughout the NFL. RapSheet also mentioned Lions exec Jimmy Raye and ex-Bucs GM Mark Dominik as GM candidates for the Raiders, who are scheduled to move to Las Vegas in 2020.

Coach Andy Reid said Monday he expects Tyreek Hill (heel) to play Thursdsay night against the Chargers.

This aligns with Adam Schefter's Monday report that Hill is merely "day to day," and his Week 14 heel injury is "nothing serious." Hill probably won't do much or anything in practice leading up to the game, but he should be out there. Hill has historically had Chargers top CB Casey Hayward's number.

Bills WLB Matt Milano is done for the season with a fractured fibula.

Milano had a terrific 2018 season in both pass coverage and run defense, emerging as a building block alongside first-round MLB Tremaine Edmunds. The good news is Milano's broken bone will heal smoothly. Coach Sean McDermott indicated Monday that Milano will likely be ready for the start of offseason workouts.

The Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett believes Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) has played his final snap as a Lion.

Ansah reinjured his shoulder in Sunday's loss to Arizona, which sounds like it'll end the once-feared pass rusher's year. Ansah played the 2018 season on the franchise tag. The Matt Patricia regime has no previous ties to Ansah.

Broncos CB Isaac Yiadom is expected to miss Week 15 with a separated shoulder.

They'll have to turn back to journeyman Tramaine Brock on Saturday night against the Browns. Brock was previously benched for Yiadom, a third-round pick out of Boston College. The Broncos are already without top CB Chris Harris (fibula).

Josh Doctson is in the NFL's concussion protocol.

He must have suffered the injury late in Sunday's blowout loss to the Giants because we didn't see it happen on the field. Doctson has flirted with actual WR4 value lately, topping 50 yards in three straight games.

Longtime NFL draft guru and league personnel executive Gil Brandt tweeted Monday that he'd "make a rather heavy wager" Oregon QB Justin Herbert will enter the 2019 NFL draft.

"I'd also wager he'll be a top-5 pick," added Brandt. Most league observers have suspected Herbert will stay in school because his little brother arrives at Oregon next year as a freshman on the team. This is one of the weakest quarterback classes in recent memory, however, and Herbert would be the shoo-in favorite to go No. 1 overall. In draft-order projections were the season to end today, the Raiders (No. 3), Jaguars (No. 7), Bucs (No. 8), and Giants (No. 10) are the quarterback-neediest teams slated for top-ten picks. The Bengals (No. 11) and Redskins (No. 13) could also get involved in trade discussions to move into top-quarterback draft territory.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Tyreek Hill (heel) does not have a serious injury and is considered "day to day."

Hill played through pain on Sunday, but he wound up finishing the game and registered 139 yards on 14 targets. The trick will be for Hill to get game ready on a short week with the Chargers visiting Kansas City for Thursday Night Football. It would be a surprise if Hill did much of anything in practice this week.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Jordan Reed's toe sprain is not "believed to be major," but that it is still possible he misses the remainder of the season.

Reed's Monday MRI is supposedly "precautionary." Considering his injury history — especially foot/toe injury history — and the Redskins' embarrassing and complete collapse, it's hard to believe Reed will rush out there for three meaningless games. It will be a good sign if he avoids injured reserve in the next 48 hours, however. His status will be updated no later than Wednesday, when the Redskins must issue their first injury report.
