Eagles CB Sidney Jones ("soreness") suffered a setback and will be sidelined for minicamp.

The Eagles haven't clarified the area of Jones' "soreness," only saying it's in Jones' "lower body." Jones missed his entire rookie season with a torn Achilles'. Early-round draft picks who miss their rookie years have struggled to find long-term success. Jones was said to be standing out at slot corner before the hiccup. The Eagles haven't said whether they anticipate Jones being all systems go for training camp.

Isaiah Crowell (foot) is expected to play against the Vikings in Week 7.

Crowell followed the same practice schedule as last week, getting in a limited session on Friday before eventually suiting up against the Colts. He'll again play through his questionable tag in a much tougher matchup against the Vikings' nightmarish front-seven. Crowell has been a boom-bust weekly performer reliant of long runs and/or short TDs, and that won't change in Week 7.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rob Gronkowski (back) is not expected to play Week 7 against the Bears, but he is expected back for Week 8.

There was at least some concern about Gronkowski's long-term outlook after he tweaked his troublesome back, but Schefter reports it will just be a one-game absence. With Jacob Hollister (hamstring) also out, Dwayne Allen should play nearly every snap against the Bears.
Oct 20 - 11:53 PM

Travis Benjamin (foot) is expected to play against the Titans in Week 7.

Benjamin hasn't played since re-aggravating his foot in Week 4. Although he's off the fantasy radar, his presence alone plummets Mike Williams' usage. Williams played just 53% of the Chargers' offensive snaps in Week 1, but hasn't played less than 63% since Benjamin's been out. Williams is a boom-bust WR4 in this particular matchup against the Titans' secondary.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Khalil Mack (ankle) is expected to play Week 7 against the Patriots.

It is not a surprise considering Mack played through the same injury last week, but he was noticeably hobbled in that game. Even so, he should be able to find success against a Patriots line which will be without RT Marcus Cannon.

The Miami Herald confirms the Dolphins have "spoken to multiple teams" about trading DeVante Parker.

Parker trade rumors have been out for awhile, but talks are starting to heat up with the deadline approaching. The Dolphins don't need Parker and are higher on Albert Wilson and Danny Amendola behind Kenny Stills. Miami is going to have to lower their third-round asking price if they want to move the perennially-injured Parker. Parker's fifth-year option was picked up before the season, so he's signed through 2019.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rob Gronkowski (doubtful, back/ankle) is "highly unlikely" to play in Week 7 against Chicago.

This became obvious after Gronkowski didn't travel with the team to Chicago. Gronk's ankle is fine, but his back injury is going to sideline him for at least one week. This has the makings for a potential multi-game absence given Gronk's longstanding back problems. Julian Edelman (questionable, heel) and Chris Hogan will see more underneath targets with Gronkowski out.

Texans activated S Andre Hal from the reserve/NFI list.

It's an impressive recovery after Hal was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in June. The Texans will likely ease Hal back after missing all of training camp and the last six weeks, but this is an upgrade to their safety rotation. Houston released OLB Daeshon Hall to clear a roster spot.

Melvin Gordon (hamstring) has been downgraded to questionable for Week 7 against the Titans.

Gordon was limited in Friday's practice but the Chargers didn't list him on the injury report. It sounds like his hamstring issue is more than just cramping. Late week downgrades are never good, so this is a legitimate concern. With the Chargers playing in London, we'll know Gordon's status early Sunday.
Oct 20 - 3:42 PM

Calvin Ridley (ankle) wasn't listed on the Week 7 injury report.

The Falcons also removed Mohamed Sanu (hip) from the injury report. Both wideouts were limited in Saturday's practice. It's a best case scenario with Atlanta playing on Monday night. We like Ridley at an upside FLEX against the Giants.
Oct 20 - 3:30 PM

Evan Engram (knee) has been removed from the Week 7 injury report.

This was expected after Engram practiced fully. He was close to playing in Week 6, so he should be close to 100 percent coming off a mini-bye. Engram is in a great spot against a bottom-three Falcons pass defense that gave up touchdowns to O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate last week.
Oct 20 - 2:22 PM

Jets released WR Terrelle Pryor.

Pryor has a tear in his groin that will reportedly keep him out at least two weeks. Rather than keeping him shelved during rehab, the team will release him to make room for another player. It's a shame as Pryor had come on as of late, hauling in 5/57/1 in Week 6 prior to injury. The Jets will move forward with Robby Anderson, Quincy Enunwa (out Sunday), and Jermaine Kearse in 3-WR sets with Charone Peake and Andre Roberts serving as depth. New York will look to re-sign him when healed barring another team not bringing him on first.
