Browns OC Todd Haley said Tyrod Taylor is the "leader of [the] team."

It is one of the reasons Haley believes No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield has "a long way to go" in his quest for the starting job. Despite using the first pick on Mayfield, the Browns have consistently said Taylor will be their starter. It would be a surprise if the veteran did not get the nod Week 1.

Tyreek Hill caught 7-of-12 targets for 142 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs' Week 6 loss to the Patriots.

Even the huge stats don't do justice to how good of a night Hill had. Hill’s first two touchdowns came in the red-zone, and he smoked the Patriots on a blown assignment for a 75-yard TD to tie the game with under four minutes. Hill got most of his yardage on chunk plays, but his speed was too much for New England's zone schemes. It’s a needed breakout for Hill after he'd been held to 166 scoreless yards over the last three games. Hill is in a great spot against the Bengals in another Sunday night matchup next week.

Tom Brady completed 24-of-35 passes for 340 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 6 win over the Chiefs.

This was a gritty one for Brady, who had just 113 yards at half. The Patriots went with a run-heavy attack early, but were forced to throw in a second-half boat race with the Chiefs. Brady made up for his lack of touchdowns with a rushing score in the fourth quarter. His only real mistake was a late third-quarter fumble, but he engineered a game-winning field goal drive for the win. Brady has looked much better over the last three weeks with an improved supporting cast. He'll get a matchup with Chicago in Week 7.

Corey Davis vacuumed just one of his four targets for 24 yards in the Titans' Week 6 romping to the Ravens.

Davis fell victim to the Titans' miserable pass protection, hauling in just one catch from Marcus Mariota, who was on his back 11 times throughout the afternoon. The only positive to come from this is that four of Mariota's 15 attempts were directed at Davis. As the Titans' O goes, Davis goes, and both went nowhere in a hurry Sunday. He'll remain a low-end WR2 in Week 7 against the Chargers' secondary.
Oct 14 - 9:19 PM

John Brown hauled in 2-of-3 targets for 28 yards in the Ravens' Week 6 win over the Titans.

Brown's two-catch day wouldn't have been so bad had he not seen 14 targets just last week. Instead it was Michael Crabtree (6/93/1) who finally broke out, with Willie Snead (7/60) quietly leading all in targets (10) and catches (7). There are better days on the horizon for Brown, who's still the team's primary deep threat and second on the Ravens with a 17% target share. Consider both he and Crabtree simultaneous WR2's against New Orleans' porous secondary in Week 7.
Oct 14 - 8:23 PM

Broncos LG Ronald Leary suffered a torn Achilles' in the Week 6 loss to the Rams.

He's obviously done for the season. Leary was replaced in the lineup by Max Garcia, who will now hold the gig the rest of the way. 29-year-old Leary has two more years left on his deal at $8.15 million annually. He could be a candidate to be cut next offseason. The Broncos are a total mess.
Oct 14 - 8:22 PM

Michael Crabtree caught 6-of-9 targets for 93 yards and one touchdown in the Ravens' Week 6 victory over the Titans.

The volume had been there all along, but Crabtree still hadn't recorded more than 70 yards in a single game prior to Sunday. He finally turned in a terrific outing against Tennessee, hauling in the team's only receiving score on the day. John Brown (2/28) still profiles as the Ravens' deep threat, but both wideouts are capable of WR2-type outings on any given week. Pending who the Saints stick Marshon Lattimore on, both wideouts have a chance for monumental performances against New Orleans' shoddy secondary next week.
Oct 14 - 7:56 PM

Cole Beasley racked up nine catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 11 targets Sunday in the Cowboys’ Week 6 victory over the Jaguars.

The first of Beasley's two touchdowns came on a play where he was left inexplicably wide open, taking it to the house for a 17-yard score in the second quarter. He followed that up with a nine-yarder just before halftime. Sunday's breakout ended a 12-game touchdown drought for Beasley. It was also the 29-year-old's first 100-yard receiving game in almost three years. Despite his success against Jacksonville, Beasley won't be of much fantasy interest next week at Washington.
Oct 14 - 7:55 PM

Ezekiel Elliott rumbled to 106 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries while gaining 11 yards on his lone catch Sunday in Dallas’ Week 6 win over the Jaguars.

Coming off a brutal outing against Houston in Week 5 (54 yards on 21 carries), Zeke was much better Sunday, shredding the Jags for 61 rushing yards in the second half. Elliott tallied his fourth touchdown of the year on a 15-yard scamper early in the fourth quarter. The Cowboys' offense isn't what it was a few years ago but Elliott has remained productive, leading the NFL with 586 rushing yards through six games. Even with his clunker against the Texans, Zeke has still cleared 100 yards rushing in three of his last four contests. He'll look to make it four out of five when he takes on the Redskins in Week 7.
Oct 14 - 7:53 PM

Dak Prescott completed 17-of-27 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns while adding 82 yards and another touchdown on 11 rushes Sunday in the Cowboys’ Week 6 victory over Jacksonville.

He lost 11 yards on three sacks in the victory. Going against arguably the league's toughest defense, Dak didn't blink, making Jacksonville pay for ignoring slot receiver Cole Beasley (nine catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns). Prescott also had a good day running the football, breaking out for a career-high 82 yards with a long gain of 28 yards. He probably would have had a bigger day had the score been closer but with Dallas winning big, Prescott only attempted nine passes after halftime. Next the Cowboys head to Washington for a division showdown against the Redskins in Week 7.
Oct 14 - 7:52 PM

Alex Collins rushed 19 times for 54 yards and two scores in the Ravens' Week 6 trouncing of the Titans.

Finally handed the utmost perfect game script on a silver platter, Collins notably out-carried teammate Javorius Allen 19-1 on the day. It only amounted to a measly 2.8 YPC, but Collins benefited by punching in one of his two carries inside the five-yard line for a score. His other touchdown came on a scamper from 13-yards out. His volume was still tremendously encouraging given that he played just 27-of-87 snaps last week, his lowest mark of the season. He'll again be a touchdown-dependent RB2 in what should be a faster paced game in Week 7 against the Saints.
Oct 14 - 7:45 PM

Coach Vance Joseph remains committed to Case Keenum as the Broncos' starting quarterback.

"Case is our quarterback," Joseph said after yet another Broncos loss on Sunday. Keenum was checked for a concussion at the end of the first half, and sophomore Chad Kelly came into a standing ovation from Broncos fans to kneel it out on the final play of the second quarter. Kelly was also tremendous in the preseason. Keenum hasn't been the worst of the Broncos' problems, but his play also leaves the rest of the team zero margin for error since he's simply unable to deliver anything more than mediocre quarterbacking. There haven't been more than a couple worse starting quarterbacks in the league through six weeks. Keenum is tied for the league lead with eight interceptions, and only Josh Allen and Marcus Mariota have worse passer ratings. Joseph and Keenum will go down with arms linked.
