Former Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew was arrested for aggravated assault, theft of services, and public drunkenness on Monday in Pittsburgh.

Pettigrew allegedly got into a confrontation with a limousine driver over a $97 fare. When the police arrived, Pettigrew allegedly was visibly intoxicated and refused to identify himself before allegedly punching an officer three times in the chest. Out of the league since being waived in December of 2016, Pettigrew was arrested for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct in Oklahoma last February.

C.J. Beathard replaced Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) in the 49ers' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs.

Beathard did not officially record a stat, but he threw a beautiful pass to George Kittle in the end zone which was negated by a spurious offensive pass interference call. With Garoppolo likely looking at an ACL tear, Beathard is in line to take over the 49ers' starting job. He averaged 237 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions in five starts last season.

A.J. Green (groin) expects to play in Week 4.

Green went down on the first drive of the second half and never returned. The Bengals initially listed him as probable to return before downgrading him. Green's practice reps figure to be limited this week, but this doesn't look like anything that will keep him out.

Updating a previous item, Marcus Peters has been ruled out for the rest of the game after suffering a calf injury.

There have been conflicting reports on what body part is injured, but Adam Schefter is reporting a calf injury. Regardless, Peters was unable to put any weight on his leg as he was helped off the field by trainers. PFF's No. 8 graded corner was then carted to the locker room for further evaluation. This certainly could be a multi-week absence for the star corner.

Chris Ivory rushed 20 times for 56 yards and hauled in 3-of-4 targets for 70 yards in the Bills’ Week 3 win over the Vikings.

Game flow worked perfectly for Ivory, who was able to rumble his way to 20 carries while the Bills milked a 27-0 first half lead. The three catches (and 70 receiving yards) were unexpected, but it was just another thing that happened to go right in a day chalked with them for Buffalo on Sunday. At worst, Ivory set himself apart from third-down RB Marcus Murphy (8-33) and made his case as a potential FLEX option if LeSean McCoy (ribs) misses an extended period. Ivory remains volume-driven, though.

Marcus Peters (lower leg) was helped off the field by trainers during Sunday's game against the Chargers.

This doesn't look good, as Peters was unable to put any weight onto his right leg. According to the broadcast, the Rams training staff is looking at his foot, calf, and achilles. The star corner is now being evaluated in the locker room and he's questionable -- at best -- to return to the game.

Kenyan Drake rushed five times for three yards in the Dolphins' Week 3 win over the Raiders, adding two catches for seven additional yards.

It was a nightmare fantasy day in a golden matchup, but the Dolphins ran an absurdly low 39 plays. It was just bizarre game flow. Drake did watch as Frank Gore got the "start," though he out-touched his veteran teammate 7-6. We've been expecting — hoping? — Drake to banish Gore to the bench but through three games it is not looking imminent. Drake might be best downgraded to the RB2/3 borderline until he has a breakout game or officially renders Gore a non-factor. The Patriots will present another opportunity for a strong fantasy day in Week 4.
Sep 23 - 5:17 PM

Amari Cooper caught 2-of-5 targets for 17 yards in the Raiders' Week 3 loss to the Dolphins.

It was back into hiding for Cooper, who appeared to run the wrong route on Derek Carr's first interception and committed an inexplicable second half drop. Cooper, an NFL receiver, let the ball go right through his hands without touching it. His quiet day came as Jordy Nelson exploded and Martavis Bryant drew as many targets. Cooper is simply too volatile to be counted on as an every-week WR3. He has a tough Week 4 matchup in the Browns.
Sep 23 - 5:15 PM

John Ross caught 3-of-7 targets for 16 yards in the Bengals' Week 3 loss to the Panthers.

His yardage totals through three games are 3, 8, and 16. Two of Andy Dalton's four interceptions on Sunday came on throws directed at Ross. Ross has a ton of straight-line speed, but he is a work in progress as a route runner and catcher of the ball. Even if A.J. Green (groin) can't play in Week 4 at Atlanta, Ross will be a high-risk WR4/flex option at best.

Evan Engram (knee) will undergo an MRI on Monday.

Engram was walking around with a brace on his knee after the game. He told reporters he expects to be "fine." It sounds like Engram avoided a serious injury, but he may still be looking at MCL damage. More will be known after Monday's MRI.
Sep 23 - 5:12 PM

Adam Thielen hauled in 14-of-19 targets for 105 yards in the Vikings' Week 3 loss to the Bills.

Thielen benefited from negative game script as the Vikings found themselves down 27-0 for the entire second half of play. He's quietly accrued at least 12 targets and eclipsed the 100-yard mark in all three of Minnesota's games this season. Stefon Diggs (4-17 Sunday) remains a factor on the outside, seeing 10 targets against Buffalo, but it's clear who Cousins' favorite receiver between the duo is. Thielen again has the easier path to production Thursday in the slot against the Rams' stout outside corners.
Sep 23 - 5:11 PM

Tyler Eifert caught 6-of-8 targets for 74 yards in the Bengals' Week 3 loss to Carolina.

After drawing only three and four targets in the first two games, Eifert was a much bigger factor in this one, making his trademark tough catches in traffic and helping Andy Dalton move the sticks on third down. A.J. Green (groin) went down at the start of the third quarter and never returned. If Green can't play in Week 4 at Atlanta, Eifert's passing-game role will further expand.
