In an Instagram post containing a photo of a severely beaten woman, LeSean McCoy is accused of domestic violence, child abuse, and animal abuse.

The photo allegedly shows Delicia Cordon, McCoy's at least one-time girlfriend, with severe facial injuries. The post also alleges McCoy has beaten his dog and child in the past as well as used performance-enhancing drugs. McCoy quickly posted on Instagram himself, saying the allegations are "totally baseless" and claiming he has "not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months." Yahoo's Charles Robinson reports the police are looking into the allegations. In a statement, the Bills said they "have spoken to LeSean" and "will continue to gather information."

Bucs placed SS Chris Conte on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Conte first picked up the injury in Week 2. He apparently aggravated it in Monday night's loss to the Steelers. Conte got his soul owned by a Vance McDonald stiff arm on a long touchdown. It's rather remarkable Lovie Smith's favorite player was still holding down a starting job. The Bucs have close to zero depth in the secondary. Fourth-rounder Jordan Whitehead is the next man up.

Saints placed CB Patrick Robinson on injured reserve with a broken ankle.

Yikes. Robinson signed a four-year, $20 million deal to be the Saints' slot corner in March. He had been playing decent snaps for the Saints' suddenly awful cornerback corps, grading out of the top player in the group on Pro Football Focus. Robinson will be a candidate to return after eight weeks, but it's possible he will need more time to get healthy. 2015 third-round bust P.J. Williams is the next man up.

Panthers acquired OT Marshall Newhouse from the Bills for a conditional 2021 pick.

Bills coach Sean McDermott continues to do business with his old team. Although he's played only 14 snaps this season, Newhouse has managed to struggle. His acquisition speaks to the Panthers' depth and injury issues up front.

Titans signed QB Austin Davis.

The ex-Seahawks backup will serve as a (bad) insurance policy in case Blaine Gabbert (concussion) cannot go behind Marcus Mariota (elbow) against the Eagles.

TitansInsider.com's Terry McCormick reports free agent Matt Moore has turned down a chance to work out for the Titans.

Per McCormick, Moore has also been contacted by the 49ers. His interest level there is unclear. It's unusual for a non-retired free agent to turn down a workout. Perhaps Moore didn't like his odds of being signed or the potential money. Moore would be an upgrade on Blaine Gabbert behind Marcus Mariota.

Vikings DE Everson Griffen (personal) has been officially ruled out for Week 4.

Griffen is dealing with mental health issues. "It’s about him getting better," coach Mike Zimmer said. "In the five years I’ve been here, I’ve always loved Everson." Griffen appears poised to miss multiple games. It's possible his season is in doubt. His loss for any amount of time is huge for the Vikings, but this obviously transcends football.

The New York Daily News reports Jets coach Todd Bowles will begin calling plays on defense in "two-minute/hurry-up situations."

DC Kacy Rodgers had previously called all the plays. This threatens to make things more chaotic for the Jets' defense. Perhaps it's more of a public relations move than anything else. If Rodgers is "in the zone," it's hard to see Bowles arbitrarily stepping in. It's also possible this a precursor to Bowles calling all plays on the defensive side of the ball.

NFL Network's Judy Battista reports several members of the Competition Committee are "uncomfortable with the roughing the passer calls" early in the season.

Battista references the Clay Mathews call from the Vikings game as a specific example, but there have been several instances of questionable at best roughing calls already this season. The rule is also under the microscope after Dolphins DE William Hayes suffered a torn ACL attempting to avoid a roughing call in Week 3. The Committee has a call scheduled for next week, but Battista reports it is unclear if anything will change this season.

Jerry Jones said Jason Garrett will not take over play-calling duties from OC Scott Linehan.

Dallas' offense has been putrid since the halfway point of last season, and they have shown no signs of improvement so far this year. Even so, Jones said "there have not been any discussions or plans" to make a change at play caller. It looks like Garrett will have to use the power of the clap to get things turned around.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Vikings DE Everson Griffen is undergoing an evaluation at a local hospital.

Pelissero reports Griffen has been "battling a serious, mental health-related issue for weeks." That issue apparently manifested itself when Griffen allegedly threatened to shoot someone at a Minneapolis hotel on Saturday, and there was reportedly another incident later that afternoon. The Vikings released a statement on Monday saying they "are currently focused on Everson's well-being and providing the appropriate support for him and his family."

The Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud wrote it "seems unlikely" Jameis Winston starts this week against the Bears.

Winston is eligible to return from his three-game suspension, but it does not appear as if a starting job is waiting for him following Ryan Fitzpatrick's hot start. "Jameis is a member of our team and anxious to get him back," coach Dirk Koetter said after the game on Monday night. "And I know Jameis, whatever role he ends up in, I know Jameis will embrace that role and give it everything he's got." The last line tells the story, and that tale is one in which Fitzpatrick remains the starter for at least another week. It would be a surprise if that is not confirmed on Tuesday.
