The Buffalo News' Jay Skurski writes Chris Ivory "would be the first option" if LeSean McCoy is unavailable.

Serious allegations against McCoy of domestic, child, and animal abuse surfaced this week, throwing his availability into question. Signed to a two-year deal in March, Ivory is the obvious replacement for McCoy if the Bills decide to stay in-house, but they could also look to add a veteran like DeMarco Murray or Adrian Peterson. No matter who takes over, Buffalo's offense will be in serious trouble if McCoy is out.

Dalvin Cook rushed 13 times for 55 yards and caught 5-of-7 targets for 28 yards and one touchdown in the Vikings' 21-7, Week 14 loss to the Seahawks.

Cook was the Vikings' best offensive player and probably should have touched the ball more, especially on a couple 3rd-and-1 calls by OC John DeFilippo where he rolled Kirk Cousins out to his right 12-15 yards behind the line to gain, which resulted in two incompletions and subsequent punts. Cook was earning tough yards and tied for the team lead in targets. His last-minute six-yard touchdown catch was as garbage-timey as they come with the Vikings down 21-0. Cook will be an RB2 next week at home against the Dolphins.
Dec 10 - 11:32 PM

Russell Wilson completed just 10-of-20 passes for 72 scoreless yards and an interception in the Seahawks' 21-7, Week 14 win over the Vikings.

Wilson at least made up for it a bit with 61 rushing yards, but he was one of the worst fantasy quarterbacks of the week. His big gaffe was just a flat-out stupid decision with six seconds left in the first half; Wilson was chased from the pocket, did a 360 turn, then blindly flung an interception right to LB Eric Kendricks with the Seahawks up 3-0 and near the goal line. Wilson never recovered and was bad all night. Seattle still won with ease on the back of Chris Carson and the run game along with the defense. Wilson should rebound next week at the Niners.
Dec 10 - 11:25 PM

Kirk Cousins completed 20-of-33 passes for 208 yards and one touchdown in the Vikings' 21-7, Week 14 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night.

Cousins came up with more than a third of his passing yards on the final meaningless drive with the Vikings down 21-0. He also threw a short score to Dalvin Cook to cap it off and avoid the shutout. Cousins had 27 passing yards at halftime. His longest play of the night was a 48-yard shot to Stefon Diggs, but the Vikings later turned it over on downs that drive, failing from the two-yard line in the third quarter. Cousins also lost a fumble on a strip-sack that was returned for a touchdown late in the game. He was under pressure all night and had nowhere to go with the ball. Cousins has been held to 201 and 2018 yards the last two weeks in losses at New England and Seattle. He'll try to rebound next week at home against the Dolphins.
Dec 10 - 11:19 PM

Chris Carson rushed 22 times for 90 yards and one touchdown in the Seahawks' 21-7, Week 14 win over the Vikings on Monday night.

Carson was probably the best offensive player on the field in this one, which was a massive struggle for both teams with the ball in their hands. Russell Wilson threw for just 72 yards and had a mind-numbing interception near the goal line with six seconds left in the first half. This game sat at 6-0 deep into the fourth quarter when Carson bagged the game's first touchdown with 2:53 to go, plunging in from one yard out. He was picking up chunk gains all night and remains locked into lead-back duties for the NFL's run-heaviest team. Carson will again be an RB2 next week at the 49ers. He had 108 total yards against San Fran in Week 13.
Dec 10 - 11:14 PM

Tyreek Hill (heel, wrist) did not practice Monday.

Spencer Ware (shoulder, hamstring) also was sidelined Monday after both players were hurt Sunday against the Ravens. Ultimately, both are expected to play Thursday night against the Chargers, though Hill is less than 100 percent.
Dec 10 - 10:22 PM

Austin Ekeler (neck) is also in the league's concussion protocol.

Ekeler reported symptoms on Monday afternoon; this is all in addition to his aggravation of a previous neck injury that has left him unable to move his head much right now. Ekeler didn't practice Monday, obviously. He's an extreme long shot to play Thursday night against the Chiefs.
Dec 10 - 10:16 PM

Melvin Gordon (knee) remained sidelined at Monday's practice.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on Sunday that Gordon "could play" Thursday night in Week 15 against the Chiefs. One of us "could" also win the lottery. Gordon hasn't seemed particularly close to a return and is now on a short week. With Austin Ekeler (neck) also sidelined Monday, rookies Justin Jackson and Detrez Newsome are the Chargers' current healthy running backs.
Dec 10 - 10:10 PM

49ers placed WR Pierre Garcon (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Garcon needs a knee scope. The 32-year-old has played eight games each of his first two seasons in San Francisco and has become extremely injury-prone after not missing a game his last four years with the Redskins. Garcon very well may have played his final down for the Niners. In 16 games with the team, he has 64 grabs for 786 yards and one touchdown. Dante Pettis and Marquise Goodwin will be the starters the rest of the way.
Dec 10 - 7:06 PM

The Associated Press' Joe Reedy considers Austin Ekeler (neck) "extremely doubtful" for Thursday night's Week 15 game against the Chiefs.

The L.A. Times' Jeff Miller adds Ekeler is "very stiff" on Monday and can barely move his head after aggravating his injury in Sunday's win over the Bengals. Melvin Gordon (knee) is said to be eyeing a Week 15 return, but who knows if that'll happen on a short week. If both sit, Justin Jackson would be the Chargers' lead dog in what figures to be a relatively high-scoring affair in K.C.
Dec 10 - 7:02 PM

Doug Baldwin (hip) is inactive for Monday night's Week 14 game against the Vikings.

Baldwin wasn't able to practice all week and didn't participate in pregame warmups. He'll be replaced by a combo of Jaron Brown, Malik Turner, and David Moore behind No. 1 wideout Tyler Lockett. Also inactive for the Seahawks are FB Tre Madden, CB Kalan Reed, LB K.J. Wright, C Joey Hunt, OG D.J. Fluker, and DE Branden Jackson. Lockett was WR2 upside in this spot.
Dec 10 - 6:47 PM

Eagles signed RB Boston Scott off the Saints' practice squad.

A Dion Lewis style of player out of Louisiana Tech, Scott stands 5-foot-6, 203 with 4.4-flat speed. This move indicates the Eagles fear Corey Clement (knee) will miss significant time and perhaps the rest of the season.
