Coach Mike Vrabel said that "barring a setback" Marcus Mariota (elbow) should be "good to go" for Week 2 against the Texans.

Vrabel said Mariota is "feeling good" and did everything at practice, though onlookers noted Mariota's passes didn't have the same "zip" as usual. Still, it would be a surprise if Mariota didn't play in the Titans' home opener against a division rival. Blaine Gabbert simply isn't an option.

Paul Richardson underwent an MRI on his knee and results came back negative.

Two weeks into the season, and Richardson has already dealt with two separate injuries. He was limited in practice last week with a shoulder issue and was limited on Wednesday with this ailment. Richardson has eight grabs for 85 yards on 12 targets. Chris Thompson (21) and Jordan Reed (13) have been targeted more.
Sep 19 - 3:03 PM

Devonta Freeman (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

As expected. Freeman is fully expected to miss 1-2 more games, leaving Tevin Coleman as the lead back against the Saints, followed by rookie Ito Smith.
Sep 19 - 2:39 PM

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) is practicing Wednesday.

Cook left in overtime against the Packers with cramps. He's fine.
Sep 19 - 2:37 PM

Case Keenum (knee) is not practicing Wednesday.

9 News Denver's Mike Klis reports the DNP is "precautionary," and Keenum is expected to practice Thursday and play Sunday in Baltimore. Keenum guided a late Week 2 comeback in the win over the Raiders but is a low QB2.
Sep 19 - 1:45 PM

Jarvis Landry (knee) is questionable for Week 3 against the Jets.

Landry was limited all week on a short week ahead of Thursday night's tilt. It's mildly concerning, but we'd expect Landry to be out there against Gang Green. It's contagious! If Landry were to sit, the Browns would be left with a rag-tag group of Antonio Callaway, Rashard Higgins, and then Duke Johnson.
Sep 19 - 1:41 PM

Jay Ajayi (back) did not practice Wednesday.

Neither did Darren Sproles (hamstring), leaving Corey Clement, Wendell Smallwood, and Josh Adams as the team's healthy running backs. Coach Doug Pederson labeled Ajayi as day to day in his media session Wednesday.
Sep 19 - 1:13 PM

Coach Mike McCarthy said Aaron Jones will play behind both Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery in his return from suspension this week against the Redskins.

"Jamaal and Ty have played good football," McCarthy said. "I know what Aaron gives us, but his role will be secondary. Jamaal and Ty will be in the first slot." Jones is off a two-game ban and will not be handed anything off the bat. He's not a fantasy starter right now and remains nothing more than a bench stash. Jones is long on talent, but Williams and Montgomery have reliability.
Sep 19 - 11:56 AM

Bengals signed RB Thomas Rawls.

Rawls takes the roster spot of RB Tra Carson, who was waived/injured after suffering a hamstring injury in Monday's practice. Carson was expected to be Giovani Bernard's backup with Joe Mixon (knee) out, but that'll likely now be rookie Mark Walton's job while Rawls catches up. Neither are fantasy options.
Sep 19 - 11:34 AM

LeSean McCoy (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

McCoy is dealing with "cracked rib cartilage" after having a defender fall on top of him Week 2. A limited start to the week would suggest McCoy is on track to play through it. Kelvin Benjamin (hip) was also limited Wednesday.
Sep 19 - 11:30 AM

Coach Doug Pederson labeled both Jay Ajayi (back) and Darren Sproles (hamstring) as day to day.

Pederson said Sproles' recovery might take a "little longer," but it doesn't sound like Ajay has yet to be considered out or even a long shot for Week 3. We'll continue to keep a close eye on this situation the rest of the week. The Eagles promoted UDFA rookie Josh Adams from the practice squad.
Sep 19 - 10:45 AM

Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is expected to return to practice Wednesday.

That's a good sign for Fournette's potential return this week against the Titans. They'll need him with T.J. Yeldon now sidelined with an ankle injury. We'll update Fournette later with his official practice designation.
