Titans LT Taylor Lewan (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.

Lewan took a dirty hit from Dolphins DE Andre Branch on a crack-back blindside block after Miami intercepted a pass. Lewan was heated after the play. The Titans may have to face J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, and Whitney Mercilus without their best lineman. Kevin Pamphile filled in Sunday.

Keenan Allen was forced from Thursday's game against the Chiefs with a hip injury and is questionable to return.

Allen landed hard on his hip in the end zone, narrowly missing a touchdown. He was in immediate pain but briefly re-entered the game before departing again. With halftime coming up, the story will be if Allen comes out for the third quarter or not.
Dec 13 - 9:34 PM

Doug Baldwin (hip) returned to limited practice Thursday.

It gives Baldwin a chance to return after missing Week 14. Another limited session on Friday would have Baldwin on track to play against the 49ers, whom he went 2/22/1 against two weeks ago.

Speaking with The Athletic's Calvin Watkins, Amari Cooper said it was Raiders owner Mark Davis who wanted to trade him, not coach Jon Gruden.

This is a hard one to decipher. It's possible Davis was just falling on Gruden's sword so as not to make the coach the bad guy. It will also fuel the somewhat persistent rumors that the Raiders are having "cash flow" issues, which remains nearly impossible to believe for an NFL franchise. Although Cooper has blown up for the Cowboys, trading him was not an indefensible decision. With GM Reggie McKenzie recently forced out, Gruden and Davis are an uninspiring duo to have trying to turn around a team.

Tyreek Hill (wrist, heel) is active for Week 15 against the Chargers.

Hill played through the issues in Week 14 then showed enough in the Chiefs' short-week practices to give it a go. We expect Hill to be ready for his typical role, otherwise the 11-2 Chiefs would not be running him out there.
Dec 13 - 6:55 PM

Melvin Gordon (knee) is inactive for Week 15 against the Chiefs.

Gordon gave it a college try in pre-game warmups but could not get his balky knee where it needs to be. The absence will be his third straight. It appears he will have an excellent shot at returning in Week 16. With Austin Ekeler (concussion) also inactive, Justin Jackson will flirt with RB1 value in a likely shootout. Also inactive for the Chargers are DE Chris Landrum, C Cole Toner, TE Sean Culkin, WR Dylan Cantrell and NT Brandon Mebane.

Melvin Gordon (knee) is expected to be inactive for Thursday night's game against the Chiefs.

Gordon tested out his ankle in pre-game warmups but indicated to NFL Network's Omar Ruiz he did not get the news he was looking for. Official word will come down in 40-45 minutes. Justin Jackson is a high-end, plug-and-play RB2.
Dec 13 - 6:11 PM

Matt Breida (ankle) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

Here we go. In theory, back-to-back practices put Breida on track to return against the Seahawks, but it is really anyone's guess as to his health after he has spent the majority of 2018 battling his ankle issue. Breida's return would knock Jeff Wilson from RB2 relevance. Both players would be uncertain FLEX plays.
Dec 13 - 6:08 PM

Austin Hooper (knee, ankle) remained sidelined on Thursday.

Two injuries and two missed practices. It is not looking good for the Falcons' third-year tight end. With Logan Paulsen (knee) also banged up, the Falcons could be forced to lean on "Eric Saubert" against the Cardinals' strong defense.
Dec 13 - 4:17 PM

Updating an earlier report, Ezekiel Elliott (shoulder) returned to a full practice on Thursday.

This puts Zeke on track to play Sunday at Indianapolis, not that there was much doubt about his status. Coming off a 192-yard gem against the Eagles, Elliott checks in at No. 2 in our Week 15 running back rankings.
Dec 13 - 4:14 PM

Chargers placed CB Trevor Williams on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.

So ends an injury-ruined season for Williams, who missed most of camp with an ankle issue before hurting his knee in a Week 10 practice. He had made just one appearance since. An asset last season, Williams had been a liability in 2018. Second-year UDFA Michael Davis has been running with Casey Hayward and Desmond King since Williams' injury. Now 25, Williams is headed to restricted free agency.
Dec 13 - 4:09 PM

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Steelers will stick with K Chris Boswell for Week 15 against the Patriots.

Per Fowler, the Steelers kept free agent Kai Forbath in town overnight but have opted to give Boswell one more chance after he had a strong practice on Thursday. Boswell spent the session working with ex-Steelers K Shaun Suisham. Boswell would already be gone by now if not for his August extension. Hopefully he can get on track in Sunday's massive game.
