Jermaine Kearse (abdomen) is practicing in full for Week 2.

It puts Kearse on track to play after sitting out the opener. His return further muddles Sam Darnold's target distribution after spreading it out in Week 1. Kearse's presence should demote Terrelle Pryor to four-wide sets.
Sep 12 - 4:44 PM

Seahawks LB Mychal Kendricks suffered a broken tibia in the Week 14 win over the Vikings and is done for the season.

Kendricks had just returned from his suspension this past week and is already again on the sideline. The 28-year-old is set to be a free agent in March, but the Seahawks seemed to like what he brought in his short time with them.
Dec 12 - 1:44 PM

DeSean Jackson (thumb) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Jackson has missed the last two games and admitted he still can't squeeze a football. Chris Godwin will likely again play starter's snaps this week in Baltimore coming off a dreadful Week 14 where he caught one pass on 10 targets.
Dec 12 - 1:40 PM

Bears placed CB Bryce Callahan (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.

There had been some hope Callahan avoided a serious fracture, but he's done for the season with a broken foot after getting hurt last Sunday night in the win over the Rams. The Bears will move forward with special teamer Sherrick McManis in the slot. The Bears also signed ex-Jets CB Marcus Williams. Callahan was having a breakout year. He'll be a restricted free agent in March.
Dec 12 - 1:00 PM

Jordan Reed (toe) is not practicing Wednesday.

Josh Doctson (concussion) is also absent. Reed lasted 13 weeks this season before getting hurt last Sunday against the Giants. Reed's issue isn't believed to be serious, but the Redskins have no reason to push him out there.
Dec 12 - 12:07 PM

LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.

McCoy pulled his hamstring early in the first quarter of the Week 14 loss to the Jets and may simply just be shut down for the final three weeks. Chris Ivory led the running backs with 12 carries last week but would be a last-ditch RB3 play this week against the Lions in a game with a 36-point total.
Dec 12 - 11:43 AM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Carson Wentz (back) is not expected to play Week 15 against the Rams.

The 6-7 Eagles are two games back in the division after losing to Dallas last week, but they're still very alive in the Wild Card mix, though the Vikings beat them head-to-head. Perhaps the Eagles are looking more toward Wentz's long-term health here, as he battles with back spasms. Nick Foles will get the start if/when Wentz is ruled out. It's bad news for everyone involved on offense.
Dec 12 - 11:30 AM

Coach John Harbaugh announced Lamar Jackson will start Week 15 against the Bucs.

Joe Flacco (hip) is healthy but will be the backup, sending Robert Griffin III to the inactive list. The Ravens are 3-1 with Jackson at quarterback, but have also enjoyed a cupcake schedule. Jackson has not looked good at all as a passer, missing easy throws and making easy ones look difficult. However, the Ravens are running all over teams, the way Harbaugh likes to play. Jackson gets another tasty date with the Bucs this week, but his leash could be short.
Dec 12 - 11:29 AM

Odell Beckham (quad) is not practicing Wednesday.

Coach Pat Shurmur said Beckham is "getting better," but the Giants have no reason to push him to practice on a Wednesday. Ultimately, we expect Beckham to play this week against the Titans, but who knows after last week's late rule-out. Saquon Barkley would dominate touches again if OBJ sits.
Dec 12 - 11:15 AM

Carson Wentz (back) is not practicing Wednesday.

The good news is the Eagles have until Sunday night to get Wentz ready for Week 15 against the Rams, but coach Doug Pederson wouldn't commit to him playing. If Wentz were to sit, Nick Foles would get the nod and be a downgrade for everyone involved on offense in an already-tough matchup.
Dec 12 - 10:53 AM

The Kansas City Star's Lynn Worthy says it's "unlikely" that Kelvin Benjamin will play an extended amount in the Week 15 game against the Chargers.

Benjamin has only been in the building for one week and the Chiefs haven't guaranteed that Benjamin will be active on Thursday. If he does suit up, beat reporters don't expect Benjamin to be used as a starting receiver despite Sammy Watkins (foot) being week to week. Even with Patrick Mahomes leading one of the best offenses in the league, Benjamin will be no more than a low-floor WR5 if he ends up being active in Week 15.
Dec 11 - 7:59 PM

DeSean Jackson (thumb) is hopeful to play again this season, but he hasn't been able to squeeze the ball at all.

Jackson still has his injured thumb immobilized after re-injuring it in Week 11, so things would need to quickly change for him to have any shot at playing in Week 15. For now, expect Adam Humphries and Chris Godwin to fill in behind Mike Evans while Jackson follows the doctor's timetable for return, but all three receivers are in a tough spot playing on the road against the Ravens. Humphries and Godwin will be risky WR3 options on Sunday, assuming Jackson is unable to play.
