NBC Bay Area's Matt Maiocco reports Jerick McKinnon's ACL tear was "clean" and he underwent surgery on Tuesday.

McKinnon is still obviously done for the season, but it's good news the tear was deemed a clean one with no other ligament damage. It should expedite McKinnon's rehab process and have him ready well in time for the start of next season. McKinnon will be 27 and still in his prime by the time Week 1 rolls around.

A.J. Green (toe) is inactive for Week 11 against the Ravens.

Green got in a Sunday workout but was never going to be active today. He is week to week with a decent shot at returning next weekend.
Nov 18 - 12:01 PM

Keke Coutee is active for Week 11 against the Redskins.

The Texans' wideout corps is fully intact with Demaryius Thomas having one game and the Week 10 bye under his belt and Coutee back in the slot. The Texans' Week 11 inactives are CB Aaron Colvin, WR Vyncint Smith, DLs Joel Heath and Carlos Watkins, LBs Duke Ejiofor and Zach Cunningham, and CB Deante Burton.

John Ross is active for Week 11 against the Ravens.

There are no surprises Cincinnati's inactives group, which consist of WR A.J. Green, CB KeiVarae Russell, LB Preston Brown, LB Nick Vigil, OT Cedric Obguehi, WR Josh Malone, and DT Adolphus Washington. Last week, Ross operated as the Benglals' No. 2 wideout behind Tyler Boyd with Cody Core and Alex Erickson sharing third receiver duties.

Joe Flacco (hip) is officially inactive against the Bengals.

He's joined by WR Jordan Lasley, DL Zach Seiler, TE Maxx Williams, OT James Hurst, C Hroniss Grasu, and OLB Tim Williams. Lamar Jackson will operate as the Ravens' starting quarterback with Robert Griffin III behind him.
Nov 18 - 11:40 AM

Chris Godwin (ankle) is active for Week 11 against the Giants.

Godwin will play through his questionable tag, as expected. Despite splitting reps with DeSean Jackson as the team's third receiver, Godwin has continued to leverage his athletic prowess into efficient fantasy production and red zone targets. He remains a boom-bust WR3 proposition in Week 11 given his limited on-field usage compared to that of Mike Evans or Adam Humphries.

In a statement released Sunday morning, Jaguars stated they have "zero intention" of trading Jalen Ramsey.

This comes on the heels of Adam Schefter's report that the Jaguars could entertain offers for Ramsey this offseason. "The Jacksonville Jaguars have zero intention of trading CB Jalen Ramsey," the team said in a statement. "There is no truth to this rumor." Usually where there's smoke there's fire, though it's very unusual for a team to address a trade rumor this directly. Ramsey can ruffle feathers with his brash demeanor but he's still an enormous difference-maker in the Jags' secondary. Including his fifth-year option, Ramsey has two years left on his rookie deal.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Steelers Management council believes they'll be be able to use a $9.5 million transition tag on Le'Veon Bell this offseason.

The NFLPA expects the number to be the $14.5 million Bell forfeited this season. Bell's case is likely to be decided by an arbitrator, creating a new precedent for players who holdout under the franchise tag. We're not sure this makes much of a difference: Bell isn't going to be back in Pittsburgh and he's more likely to land an offer sheet at the lower amount. The Steelers will get to carry over Bell's $14.5M cap hit from this year into 2019 when he signs with another team.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns would "like to interview" former secretary of state and national security advisor Condoleezza Rice to be their next head coach.

What. This report was so wild and out there that we hesitated to post, fearing Schefter may have been hacked. He has not been. This is just the Cleveland Browns in action. The former George W. Bush administration official is well known for her football fandom, but aside from a stint on the college football playoff committee has never worked in the field. That makes sense since, you know, she has had bigger fish to fry. The whole plan is so crazy that we have a hard time believing it's anything other than a lark, but owner Jimmy Haslam was famously put over the top to draft Johnny Manziel by the advice of a random person on the street. If sanity prevails, Rice would probably be a better fit somewhere in the Browns' front office than on the sideline.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jaguars could be open to trading Jalen Ramsey this offseason.

Ramsey has been vocal in his frustration this season and seemingly implied his desire to play elsewhere last week by tweeting, "When I’m gone from here, y’all gone miss me." The All-Pro cornerback has since backed off those remarks, but there's clearly tension between the two sides and the Jaguars may be growing weary of his antics. Ramsey is due a $3.63 million base salary next season and also holds a fifth-year, team option for 2020.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Sam Darnold (foot) "has a shot" to be back next week.

Darnold will be two weeks removed from his foot injury after the Jets' bye. The Jets never gave a timetable on Darnold, but it's looking like he may end up missing just one game. We should have a better feel for Darnold's status when the Jets return to practice Wednesday.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Robert Griffin III is expected to see snaps against the Bengals in Week 11.

Per Rapoport, the Ravens have "messed around" with using Griffin III in two-quarterback formations just as they have with Lamar Jackson throughout the year. Of course this week Jackson will be starting in place of Joe Flacco, who is out with an injured hip. The plan is for RG3 to only see a handful of reps, though the Ravens could turn to him in a pinch if Jackson falters in what equates to a must-win game for Baltimore. It's worth noting that Jackson didn't see his usual practice reps this week after spending Thursday in the hospital with a stomach illness.
