Paul Richardson (shoulder) did not practice Friday.

Richardson was added to the injury report on Thursday but was listed as a full participant. His downgrade to DNP is concerning as we head into the weekend. Richardson wasn't featured all that much in the Week 1 blowout win, as Alex Smith preferred Chris Thompson and Jordan Reed more.

Bengals signed K Randy Bullock to a two-year extension through 2020.

It's a rare bit of good kicking news in what's been a dark week for the position. The Bengals' kicker since midway through 2016, Bullock has converted an elite 90 percent of his field goal attempts in the Queen City.

Giants signed FB Elijhaa Penny.

Penny was on the Cardinals' practice squad. ESPN Giants reporter Jordan Raanan hints Penny will be taking FB Shane Smith's roster spot outright after Smith struggled against the Cowboys. Judging from how the Giants looked on Sunday night, switching fullbacks will be tantamount to re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Vikings signed DT Tom Johnson to a one-year, $1 million contract.

Johnson can earn another $500,000 through incentives. The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the Vikes are eyeing Johnson as their "top reserve" on the interior after he started 15 games a season ago. Johnson was released by the Seahawks over the weekend.

Bills coach Sean McDermott and DC Leslie Frazier are expected to "collaborate" on the team's defensive calls going forward.

McDermott took over play-calling duties midway through Sunday's blowout loss to the Chargers. Speaking Monday, he tiptoed around whether the move would be permanent. "We're going to do whatever it takes to win," McDermott said. "Sometimes you're able to get into a flow. Sometimes somebody else, you feel like, can get into a flow. That was really where it came from." A "hot hand" approach at defensive coordinator is a new one. We would consider McDermott the team's primary defensive play-caller until further notice.

NBC Sports Philadelphia reports Eagles OC Mike Groh "indicated there's a good chance" Jay Ajayi (back) sits Week 3.

We are a bit surprised by the interpretation, as Groh termed RB Josh Adams' promotion from the practice squad a "precautionary measure." It definitely sounds like Ajayi is going to miss some practice time this week. That's nothing new. We would consider Ajayi on the right side of questionable after he played through the issue against the Bucs in Week 2. His status will be updated no later than Wednesday.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: New reports are putting Jay Ajayi's Week 3 availability in doubt. For an Eagles team already thin at WR and potentially without Ajayi and possibly Sproles again, Corey Clement could be in for a big workload against the Colts. With 85 total yards and a TD on 11 touches last week, Clement should be on your DFS cash game radar if Ajayi and Sproles sit. He's still very cheap and his involvement in the passing game helps raise his floor siginificantly on PPR sites.

Antonio Brown's agent insists his client does not want a trade and says his Monday absence was related to a "personal matter."

"I talked to the team about it," rep Drew Rosenhaus said. "His issue was unrelated to the tweet or his relationship with the team." We actually take Rosenhaus at face value that Brown does not want to be traded. His tweet was clearly just a frustrated player blowing off steam to a Twitter troll. As for Brown's Monday absence, the team has yet to say it was excused. We are not expecting any long-term consequences, but the sides' relationship is certainly looking a bit frosty right now.

Browns coach Hue Jackson said Duke Johnson needs to get more touches moving forward.

Johnson has touched the ball just 11 times on offense through two games. Jackson said the running back is one of their best playmakers and needs to touch the ball more, but it is tough to trust that will happen. Johnson needs to be relegated to fantasy benches for the time being.

Jarvis Landry (knee) was limited during Tuesday's practice.

Landry was also limited on Monday. It seems like the Browns are just taking it easy on Landry in a short week. It would be a surprise if he is not ready to face the Jets on Thursday night.

Cardinals coach Steve Wilks expects Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) to play Week 3 against the Bears.

The coach said he had to "help Larry help himself" by holding him out of the fourth quarter in Week 2, but it is unlikely Fitzgerald will allow himself to be sidelined this week. "We all know that it’s going to be tough to keep Larry off the field," Wilks said. "We’re going to do everything we can to make sure he is ready to go on Sunday with the treatment and the amount of reps he gets in practice." Sam Bradford's dreadful performance so far knocks Fitzgerald down a couple pegs, but his target share keeps him in the WR3 conversation.

Speaking after the Week 2 loss to the Bears, coach Pete Carroll said Chris Carson didn't get any second-half touches because he was "gassed" from playing special teams.

Okay. Maybe don't play your best running back on special teams then. Anyway, Carroll added he wanted to see what rookie Rashaad Penny could do with a bigger workload. The answer to that question? Not much. Penny was even worse, rushing 10 times for 30 yards, while dropping a pass and catching none. Meanwhile, Carson averaged a respectable 4.0 YPC in the first half only to never see the ball again. The Seahawks are a mess, especially on offense.

Tarik Cohen rushed four times for eight yards and caught a 17-yard pass on his lone target in the Bears' Week 2 win over the Seahawks.

Cohen exited late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. The severity is unknown. Cohen was talked up as a "Tyreek Hill" type player over the summer but has been anything but through two games, logging eight touches for 41 yards in Week 1 and the five for 25 yards in this one. He has no business being in fantasy lineups at the moment. Not until he shows to have a bigger role.
