Sony Michel (knee) remained "limited" in Thursday's practice.

It's unclear how much work Michel got in, as he was riding the stationary bike while reporters were present. We would assume the Pats are simply managing Michel's reps. Provided he's his normal self, Michel will be a mid-range RB1 for a mouthwatering matchup with the Chiefs.

Broncos S Darian Stewart was forced from Thursday's game against the Cardinals with a neck injury and will not return.

Stewart took a helmet to the head and was down on the ground for several moments. He did eventually get to the sideline under his own power. He was initially called questionable before being ruled out in the second quarter.

Allen Robinson (groin) was downgraded to "DNP" on Thursday.

Robinson had been "limited" on Wednesday. The Chicago Tribune considers Robinson's status for Sunday's game against the Patriots "unknown." Robinson's absence would thrust Taylor Gabriel into a potential WR2 role while also creating more target opportunities for Trey Burton, Tarik Cohen and Anthony Miller.
Oct 18 - 5:22 PM

Paul Richardson had his ailing knee re-examined on Thursday.

If there's good news, it's that an MRI was not required. "We’re trying to get to the bottom of it," coach Jay Gruden said. "We’re being extra cautious right now." Richardson's Week 7 availability appears genuinely up in the air. The Redskins promoted WR Jehu Chesson from the practice squad on Thursday.
Oct 18 - 5:07 PM

Saints placed WR Ted Ginn (knee) on injured reserve.

Ginn injured his knee in Week 4 and apparently did not make enough progress during the Saints' Week 6 bye for the team to stick it out. We would assume the 33-year-old deep threat will be a candidate for return after missing the required eight weeks. In the interim, third-rounder Tre'Quan Smith is going to be the main beneficiary. Smith already rained hellfire on the Redskins in Ginn's Week 5 absence. He's worth a flier in all leagues where he remains unowned.
Oct 18 - 4:46 PM

NFL suspended Cowboys WR Terrance Williams three games for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.

The suspension is related to Williams' May arrest for public intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident. It comes at a fortuitous time, as he is currently on injured reserve with a foot issue. Williams will be a candidate for return later this year.
Oct 18 - 4:45 PM

Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder) returned to a limited practice on Thursday.

Peterson was absent on Wednesday, though it seems like he was just getting a maintenance day. Peterson said he feels much better than he did a week ago, calling the difference "night and day." AD will be on the RB2 map Sunday when the Redskins host Dallas.
Oct 18 - 4:44 PM

Calvin Ridley (ankle) was held out of Thursday's practice.

As was Mohamed Sanu (hip). It's not a good start for Ridley ahead of Monday's game against the Giants, as coach Dan Quinn had expected him to suit up on Thursday. Ridley is dealing with a bone bruise. It's still quite possible he gets in limited sessions on Friday, Saturday or both and gets the go-ahead. If Ridley plays, he will be a boom/bust WR3.
Oct 18 - 4:39 PM

T.J. Yeldon (foot, ankle) returned to Jaguars practice Thursday.

Wednesday was likely just rep management. Like the rest of the Jaguars' offense, Yeldon gets a mulligan on last week's disaster against the Cowboys. He will be an RB2 against the Texans.
Oct 18 - 4:32 PM

Updating an earlier item, Dalvin Cook (hamstring) was officially "DNP" on Thursday.

Alrighty then. The "DNP" designation comes less than an hour after coach Mike Zimmer appeared to say Cook was "not limited" on Thursday. What he actually meant was that the running back did not even get in a limited session. Cook's status is now genuinely up in the air. Hopefully the Vikings were just managing his reps. Cook's Friday listing will tell the story of his Week 7 status.
Oct 18 - 4:29 PM

DeAndre Hopkins (foot) was downgraded to "DNP" in Thursday's practice.

It's likely just a form of rep management, though DNPs always need to be taken seriously. Hopkins also had by far his quietest game of the season in Week 7. His Friday status will be key. Provided Hopkins does play, he will be hobbled and squaring off with Jalen Ramsey. He's shaping up as a back-end WR1 for Week 7.
Oct 18 - 4:19 PM

Sean Lee (hamstring) was upgraded to full participation at Thursday's practice.

The veteran is poised to return from a three-game absence. He'll look to slow down the Redskins' ground attack in Week 7.
