NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports unsigned franchise player Le'Veon Bell is "in Pittsburgh currently."

Bell was apparently spotted playing basketball at a local gym. Rapsheet reports the Steelers have no clue if Bell is actually planning to report by Tuesday's deadline, but it would stand to reason that he is. Rapsheet also claims the Steelers "really want" Bell back. If Bell finally ends his marathon holdout next week, there's a chance he would be a healthy scratch for Week 11. We will know more soon.

Robby Anderson (ankle) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Anderson still isn't healthy coming out of the bye week. If Anderson is unable to go, the Jets will have to rely on Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse, Chris Herndon, and Elijah McGuire as the main pass catcher vs. New England.
Nov 21 - 1:22 PM

Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is doubtful for Week 12 against the Lions.

This has been the way it's been moving the last 24 hours; Trubisky isn't going to play Thursday, and it will be Chase Daniel making the start with Tyler Bray likely to back him up. Trubisky is said to have a sprained AC joint, but the Bears expect him to be able to return Week 13 against the Giants.
Nov 21 - 1:04 PM

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports it's "more likely" Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) sits in favor of Chase Daniel for Thursday's Week 12 game against the Lions.

Trubisky is dealing with a bruised shoulder, and RapSheet says if it were a Sunday game, he'd likely be able to play. But on an ultra-short week with a Thursday morning game after a Sunday nighter, it simply isn't enough time for Trubisky. Injury designations will be official later Wednesday afternoon.
Nov 21 - 12:47 PM

A.J. Green (toe) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

However, coach Marvin Lewis said Green will practice later this week. Whether that's Thursday or Friday remains to be known. Reports over the weekend were than Green has a "good chance" to play against the Browns.
Nov 21 - 12:19 PM

Updating a previous item, Tre'Quan Smith (foot) did not practice Tuesday.

Previous reports had Smith listed as limited, but it was corrected Tuesday evening. Smith has now been sidelined both Monday and Tuesday and is looking awfully uncertain for Thursday night's showdown with the Falcons. If he misses it, Keith Kirkwood and Austin Carr are next up at wideout.
Nov 20 - 8:17 PM

Marvin Jones (knee) remained sidelined on Tuesday.

Jones is looking likely to miss his second-consecutive game when the Lions host the Bears on Thanksgiving. With Kerryon Johnson (knee) also sidelined, the Lions will be severely short-handed against a team looking likely to start Chase Daniel at quarterback.
Nov 20 - 5:39 PM

Speaking Tuesday, Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed Todd Gurley was limited by an ankle issue against the Chiefs but is expected to be fine going forward.

Gurley rolled his ankle early in the proceedings but stayed in the game. He was never announced with an injury. In one of the more tilting fantasy moments of the season, he failed to find the end zone in the Rams' 54-51 victory. With the Week 12 bye to heal up, Gurley will resume dominating against the Lions in Week 13.
Nov 20 - 5:12 PM

The Chicago Tribune reports "plenty of signs" point toward Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) missing Thursday's game against the Lions.

Trubisky was officially "DNP" on Tuesday. Coach Matt Nagy sounded pessimistic at his presser. Were Trubisky to sit, 10th-year pro Chase Daniel would be in line for his first start since 2014. Daniel played for Nagy in Kansas City and raked in $7 million guaranteed last offseason, so Nagy clearly has some level of confidence. It would still be an across-the-board downgrade for every Bears skill player.
Nov 20 - 4:27 PM

Broncos waived CB Adam Jones.

Pacman simply had not been seeing the field, playing 37 snaps since Week 4. Jones has endured in the NFL for a stunningly long time considering his early-career off-the-field issues but now 35, he is running on fumes. Perhaps a contending team will add him for depth and experience down the stretch.
Nov 20 - 4:25 PM

Bengals placed MLB Preston Brown on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Brown was injured in Week 9. He had not been playing at a high level this season, but the Bengals' struggling defense can ill afford any losses. Second-year UDFA Hardy Nickerson, who got pushed around in Week 11 by the Ravens, is the next man up. Now 26, Brown is headed to the open market. His injury could give the Bengals an excuse to move on in the middle.
Nov 20 - 4:09 PM

Eagles activated DT Timmy Jernigan (back) from the reserve/PUP list.

A load on the interior, Jernigan will provide a big boost for a defense that just got throttled for 48 points in New Orleans. Every reinforcement counts in the up-for-grabs NFC East. Jernigan is a roughly 33-50 percent snap player who will help slow down the run while providing the occasional sack.
