Reto Berra was dominant in his 33-save, 4-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night. It was Berra's first NHL victory since Nov. 6th, 2014, a span of 11 games for him.

Berra made all 22 saves at even strength, plus eight more while on the kill. Only being beaten on a blast of a slapper by Yannick Weber. The win improves Berra's record to 3-3-1 with 28 goals against across 16 games this season.

Pekka Rinne made 28 saves on 30 shots to backstop Nashville to a 3-2 victory over Tampa Bay on Thursday night.

The star goaltender's third straight win gives him 40 victories on the season, three short of his career high in 2011-2012. Rinne has compiled an excellent 40-15-4 record this year with a .927 save percentage and 2.08 goals against average.

Ondrej Pavelec earned his sixth straight win in fine fashion on Thursday night, turning aside 39 of 41 shots from the Canadiens in a 5-2 victory.

Pavelec improves to 6-1 in the month of March with a .963 save percentage and 1.15 goals against average. The hot 27-year-old is getting the job done for Winnipeg, who are clutching on to the final Wild Card spot in the West with a three point lead over Calgary.

The magic finally ran out for Andrew Hammond as the sensational Sens rookie was lit up for five goals on 22 shots in just under two periods of play on Thursday night.

Hammond got the hook after 37 minutes in the Sens' 5-1 loss to the Rangers on Thursday night. It was certainly an incredible run for the rookie which came out of nowhere, who posted a 14-0-1 record before his first regulation loss. The 27-year-old has a .938 save percentage and 1.92 goals against average.

It's been confirmed that Reto Berra will be in Colorado's crease on Thursday against Vancouver.

The original plan was to have Semyon Varlamov start both games of the back-to-back situation, but he was pulled on Wednesday after surrendering three goals on seven shots. Berra stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced in relief, so he's being rewarded with the start.

Kyle Baun has agreed to terms with the Chicago Blackhawks on a two-year, entry-level deal.

The grandson of Toronto Maple Leafs legend Bobby Baun will report to Chicago this season and burn one those years, but he won't be eligible to play in the playoffs. Baun was a highly sought-after college free agent, who produced 39 goals and 40 assists in 113 games for Colgate University over the past three seasons.

Henrik Lundqvist will be back between the pipes on Saturday at Boston or Sunday against the Washington Capitals.

"I think we'll have a discussion tomorrow, I'll see how it feels," Lundqvist said Thursday. "It's hard to say no to a game right now when you've been away for that long at the same you have to be smart about it. But I feel pretty close to being ready. We'll have that discussion tomorrow and we'll decide what game." He will dress as Cam Talbot's backup on Thursday night.

Mike Ribeiro is tied with Detroit's Tomas Tatar for first in the NHL in shot attempts at 5-on-5 among all forwards.

He has been on the ice for 1,252 even-strength shot attempts for the Predators and 955 against them for a plus-297 differential. Ribeiro has a simple explanation for that success. "The players that I've been playing with, elite players that like to shoot," he said. "I like to pass the puck. I tell those guys, 'Once I give it to you, you need to find a way to shoot it.' I used to tell (Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin), 'As soon as you cross the blue line, if I give you the puck, I want you to shoot the puck.' Same here (in Nashville)." Ribeiro has recorded 43 assists and 56 points in 74 games this campaign.

Jared Boll has been suspended for three games for an illegal check to the head.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at the 4:02 mark of the second period when Boll delivered a high hit to Anaheim's Patrick Maroon. He didn't receive a penalty on the play, but got into a fight with Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner shortly afterward. Boll won't be eligible to return until Thursday, April 2 against the Islanders.
