Bo Horvat will return to action Sunday night against the Jets.

The talented youngster who has missed the last five weeks with a fractured ankle was activated off injured reserve Sunday morning and will suit up against Winnipeg Sunday night. At the time of his injury, Horvat was the Canucks' best player with 20 points in 28 games. Since that time Brock Boeser stepped up big time (41 points in 43 games) and will now form a great duo with Horvat. Activate Horvat without delay.

Trevor Daley (lower body) won't play on Monday or Tuesday.

Daley left Saturday's contest as a result of the injury. He has three goals and seven points in 43 contests this season.

Jesse Puljujarvi scored a goal and picked up two assists in a 5-2 win over the Minnesota Wild.

Puljujarvi scored the game-winning goal, scooping up the rebound off Adam Larsson's point shot and putting it in behind Jacob Markstrom for his ninth of the year. The former fourth overall pick is now up to 14 points in 30 games and is always someone to keep an eye on because of his immense offensive potential. Patrick Maroon (x2), Leon Draisaitl and Jujhar Khaira also scored in the win.

Eric Staal picked up a couple of helpers in a 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Staal picked up an assist on Jared Spurgeon's opening goal, and he also had the secondary assist on Zach Parise's first goal of the season. Staal has now picked up 72 points in 71 career games against the Lightning and the 33-year-old center is up to 19 goals and 40 points in 47 games this season.

Ryan Pulock scored a goal and added four assists in a 7-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.

Prior to Saturday night's game, Pulock didn't register more than two points in a game. Tonight, he had a hand in five of the Islanders' seven goals against Chicago. He assisted on goals from Anthony Beauvillier, Jordan Eberle, and Brock Nelson. He also added a goal of his own in the opening period. Pulock has four goals and 14 points in 34 games this season.

Patrick Kane scored two goals, including his 20th of the season, and he added an assist in a 7-3 loss to the Islanders on Saturday night.

While the Chicago Blackhawks have been reeling, Kane is still putting up points. He has amassed 48 points in 46 games this season and now has 800 in his career. Chicago also got a goal from Erik Gustafsson in the loss.

Evgenii Dadonov scored two assists in a 4-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on Saturday night.

Dadonov extended his point streak to six consecutive games in the loss to Nashville with helpers on goals by Vincent Trocheck and Keith Yandle. Dadonov has eight points during his point spree and 29 points in 37 games this season.

Nick Bonino scored a goal and added two assists in a 4-3 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday night.

Bonino scored his seventh of the year against Florida Saturday. He also assisted on a pair of goals by Kevin Fiala in the victory. Nashville's other goal was scored by P.K. Subban. Bonino has 12 points in 34 games this season.

Aaron Dell made 31 saves on 32 shots in a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.

Dell has been more than solid for the San Jose Sharks this campaign and now he's got three wins in his last three appearances. He hasn't lost in regulation since November. Dell's record improves to 11-3-2 with two shutouts, a 2.18 GAA, and a .928 save percentage.

Auston Matthews scored his 20th goal of the season in a 4-3 comeback win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.

Matthews's goal snapped a four-game drought. He's on pace for a 30-goal season. The Leafs also got goals from Mitchell Marner, Connor Carrick, and Zach Hyman in the victory. Matthews has 20 goals and 35 points in 38 games this season.

David Pastrnak scored two goals in a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.

Pastrnak's two goals on Saturday now give him 20 on the season. At this rate, he's on pace to register his second-straight 30-goal season. The Bruins also got goals from Torey Krug, to which Pastrnak also provided an assist for, and an empty-net goal from Riley Nash. Pastrnak has 20 goals and 44 points in 45 games this season.
