Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored twice and added an assist to lead the Portland Pirates to a 7-4 win over Worcester Friday.

Ekman-Larsson is one of the top young defensemen in the NHL and is getting extra playing time during the lockout with the Coyotes AHL farm team in Portland. He now has three goals and an assist in two AHL games, with a plus three rating. Highly regarded David Rundblad chipped in with a couple of helpers.

Victor Hedman is being listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

He sustained the ailment in Monday's win over Montreal. Hedman will probably sit out Tuesday's game versus Toronto and then the Lightning will see where he's at with his recovery. Tampa Bay called up Slater Koekkoek as a possible replacement.

Petr Mrazek will get the nod for Detroit on Tuesday against Ottawa.

He was pulled in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders after allowing four goals on 11 shots, but on Saturday he earned a 23-save shutout versus Tampa Bay. The Red Wings have been having some goaltending issues this month between , but their offense has been firing on all cylinders.

It sounds like Patrick Kane (clavicle) is ahead of schedule and coach Joel Quenneville teased that there could be a very good update on the talented winger's status soon.

"There's been some excellent progress," Quenneville said Monday. "It could be good news. We'll see." Kane has been skating regularly for nearly two weeks and he was on the ice again on Monday in full gear. He suffered a broken clavicle on Feb. 24, which required surgery to repair, and his initial return wasn't expected to be until mid-May. Stay tuned to see if that has changed.

Devan Dubnyk has been awarded with the NHL's first star of the week.

He posted a 4-0-0 record to go with a 1.22 goals-against average and a .962 save percentage to earn the honor. Dubnyk has been outstanding since joining the Wild. He owns a mark of 26-6-1 along with a 1.70 GAA, a .939 save percentage and five shutouts since Jan. 15.

Scott Darling will be in the crease for the Blackhawks Monday night against the Kings.

Corey Crawford just started for the Hawks Sunday night in Winnipeg so Darling will get the call Monday night. The 26-year-old rookie has appeared in 11 games this season and has a 7-3-0 record with a 1.84 goals-against-average and .938 save percentage. It's been a nice start to his NHL career and he'll look to continue the hot streak against a tough Winnipeg team.

Richard Bachman will be in goal for Edmonton on Monday against Colorado.

That shouldn't come as a surprise after he stopped all 29 shots fired his way on Friday in a 4-0 shutout win against Dallas. Bachman is being rewarded with a second straight start

He has notched one goal and one assist in his past eight games, but it's been a spectacular season for the sophomore forward. He has 26 goals and 67 points in 74 matches. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Jason Garrison will be out of action for three-to-four weeks with an upper-body injury.

He was injured in Saturday's game against Detroit after logging just 41 seconds of ice time. Garrison has 30 points and a plus-27 rating in 70 games this year.

He suffered a lower-body injury on Saturday and left the game after seeing just four shifts. Steen has 24 goals and 62 points in 73 matches this season. Olli Jokinen will be in the lineup instead.

Roberto Luongo aggravated a shoulder injury on Saturday in Montreal, but the Panthers hope to have him back in goal for Tuesday's game against Boston.

Coach Gerard Gallant said this setback isn't considered to be serious and that Luongo is listed as day-to-day. Dan Ellis filled in for Luongo in Sunday's 4-2 win over Ottawa and he stopped 25 shots.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 30 saves in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over San Jose.

Fleury didn't allow a goal in either the first or third period but he did give up two goals on just seven shots in the second frame. It's the first time in three games that Fleury allows less than three goals. The 30-year-old has posted a better goals-against-average and save percentage than he did one year ago. Fleury improves his record to 33-17-8 on the season. He also has a 2.26 goals-against-average and a .921 save percentage in 2014-15.
