Columbus Blue Jackets owner John P. McConnell reportedly might be one of the hardliners that's willing to sacrifice the 2012-13 campaign if it means potentially getting a more favorable CBA.

Of course, even if that's true, McConnell wouldn't be the only one, but it wouldn't be hard to see why a team like Columbus would insist on a better CBA. Columbus has never enjoyed much on-ice success and they could use the financial relief that a 50-50 hockey-related revenues split would bring. The league has grown tremendously since the last lockout, but it hasn't grown evenly. Some teams have been left behind, but are still being forced to increase their payroll because of the rapidly rising salary cap. The players would argue that it's for those teams that they've been championing revenue sharing, but regardless, those teams also stand to lose the least financially if the lockout drags on.

Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 32 of 34 shots Tuesday as he backstopped the Rangers to a 3-2 victory over Winnipeg.

The win is his first since he enjoyed a 6-3 victory over the Panthers on February 2nd, a span of nearly two months. While he'll like be used judiciously down the stretch, King Henrik appears set to take the reins in the postseason.

Andrew Hammond allowed just one goal on 17 shots Tuesday as the Senators defeated Detroit by a score of 2-1 in a shootout.

The return of the Hamburglar helped Ottawa keep their fading playoff hopes alive in a game they dominated from start to finish. Despite nursing an injury, look for Hammond to remain between the pipes for every important game the team plays down the stretch.

Coach Cooper has gone on record that Victor Hedman will return to the Lightning before the playoffs start.

Meaning, he could return as early as Saturday versus Toronto. Hedman has amassed 10 goals, 37 points, 40 PIMs, 48 hits, and 106 blocks over 57 games this season.

Slater Koekkoek will make his NHL debut on Tuesday night against the team he grew up cheering for, the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The former 10th overall pick Koekkoek in 2012 has produced well in his first professional season, putting up five goals and 24 point along with 40 PIMs in 66 games for AHL Syracuse. Koekkoek will pair with Luke Witkowski to create the Lightning's third defensive unit.

Coach Jon Cooper provided some comfort for Tampa Bay's fans when he said the injury won't impact the playoffs, but it could hurt Johnson's fantasy owners if a return doesn't arrive before the end of the week.

That will put him in goal for Wednesday's game against San Jose and Friday's match versus Anaheim. The plan is to have Semyon Varlamov between the pipes for Saturday's game with Los Angeles.

Martin St. Louis (knee) hopes to be ready to return on Thursday.

That will depend on how he feels after taking part in a full practice on Wednesday, but he said Tuesday that he feels the "jump" is back in his stride again after he sprained his MCL on Mar. 15.

Shea Weber (lower body) isn't expected to play Tuesday night.

He didn't participate in the morning skate after missing Sunday's game against Calgary. Weber has a chance to play as early as Saturday, according to GM David Poile. He added that the Predators captain should be ready for the playoffs if he isn't able to return in the short term.

He sat out one game with a lower-body injury and served as Craig Anderson's understudy in Sunday's loss to Florida. Hammond will be looking bounce back from his first regulation loss last Thursday when he allowed five goals on 22 shots to the New York Rangers.
