Nick Bjugstad scored two goals in regulation and added the shootout winner in Florida's 3-2 win over San Jose.

Bjugstad had a night to remember against the Sharks. The 22-year-old gave the Panthers a 1-0 and 2-1 lead in the game. With the shootout tied at one, Bjugstad beat Antti Niemi to give Florida the win. After a very slow start to the season, he now has four goals and seven points in his last three games. The Panthers don't score many goals so it will be difficult for Bjugstad to keep putting up points.
Nov 21 - 1:34 AM

Ryan Getzlaf scored a goal and an assist in Anaheim's 4-3 shootout win over Vancouver.

The Ducks opened the scoring in the first minute of play and Getzlaf made it 2-0 before the Canucks battled back to take a 3-2 lead. Matt Beleskey tied the game in the third period to send the game to overtime. Corey Perry and Jakob Silfverberg scored to give the Ducks the win. Getzlaf now has six goals and 19 points in 20 games this season. The Ducks' forward was named the game's second star.

James van Riemsdyk scored a pair of goals as the Leafs toppled Tampa Bay 5-2 on Thursday night, helping the team overcome two embarrassing losses in the week before.

The Leafs were the target of incredible backlash from their fans and the media after two lopsided losses to Buffalo and Nashville, but looked much better against a strong Lightning squad. JVR now has nine goals and 17 points through 20 games so far for the Maple Leafs. The 25-year-old is usually a reliable source for points playing with Phil Kessel on Toronto's top line. Expect the Middletown, N.J. native to keep producing just a tad below this pace as the season proceeds.
Nov 21 - 12:00 AM

Patrick Kane scored the game-winning goal in Chicago's 4-3 win over Calgary on Thursday.

Kane also registered an assist in the game. After a slow start to the season, the 26-year-old has now scored in three consecutive games. Kane has also collected six points in his last three games. Kane has seven goals and 16 points in 19 games this season. He's starting to heat up and he should continue producing offence consistently the rest of the way. Kane was named the game's first star.
Nov 20 - 11:52 PM

Alex Ovechkin scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Washington’s 3-2 win over Colorado.

Ovechkin broke a 2-2 tie with just under six minutes remaining in the third period. The points end a three-game pointless streak for the Russian sniper. He now has nine goals and 18 points in 19 games this season. Consistency is a problem at times for Ovechkin, but he should produce at a point-per-game pace the rest of the way.
Nov 20 - 11:32 PM
