Ruslan Fedotenko scored twice to lead Donbass to a 6-4 win over Vityaz Chekhov Tuesday.

Fedotenko's second goal of the game was the game winner as Donbass was down 3-2 heading into the third before scoring four straight goals for the win. Linemate Alexei Ponikarovsky chipped in with an assist. Fedotenko now has seven goals and 17 points in 30 KHL games. It was the lone major league game in Europe today.

Ryan Getzlaf status for Game 5 is "up in the air right now," according to coach Bruce Boudreau.

He didn't play on Wednesday because of an upper-body injury and it's unclear if he'll be able to play on Friday. Boudreau added that Getzlaf is hoping to play, which could mean that he'll try to play through whatever is ailing him.

Coach Ken Hitchcock is looking for more from T.J. Oshie.

"He's been like the rest of our players," Hitchcock said. "He's been fine, but fine won't beat Chicago. Gonna have to be better. We're very much sum of parts. Our sum of parts just have to be better in certain elements. The strength of our game has to be more consistent." Oshie has no points and a minus-3 rating in three contests since returning to the lineup from an upper-body injury. He finally picked up his first shots of the series, with three, in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blackhawks in Game 4.

Ben Bishop will spend his off-season recovering from ligament surgery on his right wrist.

It was reported that he didn't play in the playoffs because of a dislocated elbow, but apparently his wrist was an issue as well. Bishop said he will wear a cast for six weeks after the procedure and his total rehab time is set for three-to-four months. He believes he'll be 100 percent when training camp begins in the fall.

Steve Mason will get the nod for Philadelphia on Friday night in Game 4.

He missed the first two games of the Flyers' first round series versus the New York Rangers because of an upper-body injury and returned to serve as Ray Emery's backup in Game 3.

Updating a recent post, it sounds like Henrik Zetterberg will be a game-time decision for Thursday night.

Coach Mike Babcock said he was "hopeful" that Zetterberg would return for Game 4, but he won't know the status of his captain until after the pregame warmup. Zetterberg is slated to have a doctor's appointment after the morning skate.

Henrik Zetterberg (back) will reportedly return to Detroit's lineup on Thursday night in Game 4 versus Boston.

According to sources, Ken Campbell of the Hockey News is reporting that Zetterberg will play "limited minutes" Thursday after having back surgery on Feb. 21. The Wings captain took part in practice drills with teammates for the first time on Wednesday. Campbell said the range for ice time for Zetterberg would be 10-12 minutes and we would expect most of that to come on the power play, where Detroit has gone 0-for-9 in the series.

Matt Cooke was assessed a seven-game suspension for his knee-on-knee hit on Colorado's Tyson Barrie on Monday night in Game 3.

He has the right to appeal the suspension to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman within 48 hours and if that ruling is upheld then he can appeal to a neutral arbitrator within seven days. Depending on what happens during that process, it could take too long for him to be able to return before the end of the first round. If Minnesota doesn't advance into Round 2 then Cooke's suspension will carry over into the 2014-15 regular season.

Ryan Getzlaf didn't play Wednesday night because of an upper-body injury.

The Ducks list him as day-to-day and it's unclear if he'll be ready to play in Game 5 on Friday night when the series shifts back to Anaheim. Neither team has been able to win on the road yet and having Getzlaf back would certainly help the Ducks' chances of keeping that trend going against the pesky Dallas Stars.

Nick Foligno played hero for the Blue Jackets Wednesday as his overtime winner sealed a 4-3 victory over the Penguins.

In one of the best games of the young postseason, Columbus fell behind 3-0 in the first period of this contest only to tie it in the final minute before Foligno capped things off. Ryan Johansen, Brandon Dubinsky and Boone Jenner all scored goals for the Jackets, who have now drawn even with Pittsburgh in the series through four games.
