Tyler Seguin will return to Boston with his health intact after capping off his time in Switzerland with a Spengler Cup title.

There were rumblings that he may have sustained a hip injury while overseas, but Seguin shot down those claims in an interview with CSNNE.com. He said he was "one million percent healthy" and he has "no idea where that came from" because he told the team he was leaving without any injury concerns. Seguin registered 25 goals and 40 points in 29 games with EHC Biel in Switzerland's National League A prior to representing Canada at the Spengler Cup.

Conor Sheary suffered a lower-body injury in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.

Sheary left the game midway through the first period and did not return. The Penguins can't seem to catch a break injury-wise, as they're already without Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, Carl Hagelin, Olli Maatta, Trevor Daley and Ron Hainsey. Sheary is considered day-to-day for now.

Ottawa Senators top prospect Colin White has signed an amateur tryout with the Binghamton Senators.

White will join the "Baby Sens" immediately and that's where he'll stay for the rest of the 2016-17 season. He's heading to the AHL because Ottawa isn't willing to burn the first year of his entry-level contract. "We are excited to see Colin make the next step in his development in turning professional after a great college career," Sens GM Pierre Dorion said in a release. "We have spoken to Colin and his advisors at length and we are all in agreement that getting him on the ice to play games in the AHL is what is best for his growth at this moment. While our ongoing contract discussions are moving in a positive direction, we all know there is a small window left this season for Colin to gain professional experience." The 20-year-old was Ottawa's first round pick, 21st overall, in 2015. He scored 16 goals and 17 assists in 35 games at Boston College this season. White has a bright future ahead of him.

Kevin Bieksa (face) is expected to suit up in Sunday's game against the New York Rangers.

Bieksa took a stick to the face in Wednesday's game against Edmonton and the injury kept him out of Friday's tilt against the Jets. Assuming he plays, he'll be paired with Sami Vatanen. Bieksa has two goals and nine assists in 73 games.

Tyler Seguin scored the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-1 OT win over the New Jersey Devils.

It took Seguin just 20 seconds to finish the game in the extra frame. Jamie Benn and John Klingberg picked up the assists on Seguin's power play marker. Seguin finished the game with a game-high six shots on goal in 21:07 of ice time. The Stars forward is up to 25 goals and 45 assists in 75 games this season. Ales Hemsky also scored a power play goal for Dallas.

Patrik Laine (illness) isn't expected to be in the lineup in Sunday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Laine didn't hop on the ice for the pre-game warmup, so it looks like he'll sit out tonight. The rookie has 34 goals and 61 points in 67 games this season. He's considered day-to-day for now.
Mar 26 - 7:37 PM

Micheal Haley will have a disciplinary hearing for roughing/sucker punching Nashville's Calle Jarnkrok.

Haley sucker punched Jarnkrok after the Predators forward hit him into the boards. Haley received a 10-minute match penalty for the incident. Don't be surprised if Haley gets suspended for multiple games.

Patrick Laine is under the weather and may not play Sunday against Vancouver.

It will be a game-time decision as to whether Laine is healthy enough to suit up. Check back with us later on Sunday.
Mar 26 - 12:53 PM

Michael Hutchinson will likely play between the pipes on Sunday.

Hutchinson has played in three of the Jets' last four games. He has a 6-12-3 record, 3.06 GAA, and .900 save percentage in 25 contests this season.
Mar 26 - 12:10 PM

Evgeni Malkin (shoulder) was not at the morning skate on Sunday.

The talented forward looks like he will miss his 13th game of the season. He has 33 goals and 72 points in just 62 games and the Penguins want him to be 100 percent once the playoffs begin. Stay tuned.
Mar 26 - 10:56 AM

Elias Lindholm's points streak has reached 10 games.

Lindholm picked up an assist on Saturday and now has 10 goals and 42 points in 63 games this season, his best year in four NHL seasons. The winger was drafted fifth overall in 2013 and it seems he has been in the league so long that it's hard to believe that he is only 22. Do not forget about him next season.
Mar 26 - 7:22 AM

Braden Holtby blocked 28 of 29 shots in a 4-1 win against Arizona Saturday night.

Holtby extended his win streak to four games while allowing only one goal in the third. He was perfect for the first two periods of play. Peter Holland scored 12:29 minutes into the third to tie the game. The Capitals netminder stood firm the rest of the period while his teammates combined to score three additional goals and win.
