Perreault's three points helped Winnipeg blowout Florida by a score of 7-2. The 30-year-old now has 16 goals and 37 points through 47 games this season. Blake Wheeler and Tyler Myers recorded three assists apiece in Sunday's win.

Auston Matthews scored the game winner with just 30.2 seconds remaining in regulation to give Toronto a 3-2 win over Detroit on Sunday.

The 20-year-old rocketed a wrister into the top shelf late in the game to secure the Leafs a victory. Matthews now has 27 goals this season, 25 of which have been scored at even strength. He has 49 points in 51 games altogether.

Taylor Hall rescued the Devils on Sunday with the overtime winner in a 3-2 win over Carolina.

The Hurricanes tied up the game at 2-2 late in the third period, but Hall grabbed the extra point for New Jersey with his overtime heroics. The 26-year-old has been unstoppable lately, with at least one point in each of his last 18 games. Hall is riding an 11-game point streak since his return from a thumb injury. He is up to 24 goals and 62 points in 54 games this season.

This will be Jarry's first NHL start since Jan. 17 when he lost he allowed four goals on 32 shots in a loss to Anaheim. He has a 9-4-2 record this season with a 2.44 GAA and .919 save percentage in 18 appearances.

Giroux got his 20th goal of the season in the third period. It was also the 200th marker of his NHL career. Giroux has amassed 69 points in 59 matches this season after he had 58 points through 82 contests in 2016-17.

Alex Lyon stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 7-4 win over the New York Rangers on Sunday in matinee action.

Lyon entered the match for the start of the second period after Michal Neuvirth suffered a lower-body injury and he earned his first NHL victory. The 25-year-old netminder has appeared in four games for the Flyers this season and he has made just two starts. If Neuvirth remains on the sidelines then Lyon could be in goal again Tuesday versus Montreal because Brian Elliott is out for a while following core muscle surgery.
