New Jersey Devils coach Pete DeBoer says Adam Henrique (thumb) will be back in seven to 10 days.

Henrique still isn't shooting the puck, but that should come shortly. It appears he's on track to return in time to play Feb. 2 against the Penguins at the latest. Once he returns, he'll definitely get top-six ice time. The question is whether he'll get the chance to play with Ilya Kovalchuk.

Semyon Varlamov is continuing to battle an illness.

Varlamov didn't practice on Tuesday due to the disease and on Wednesday the Avalanche decided it was necessary to summon Andrew Hammond. Jonathan Bernier will play between the pipes and presumably Hammond will serve as the backup.
Nov 22 - 12:06 PM

Kyle Palmieri suffered a broken foot against Minnesota on Nov. 20.

Palmieri is expected to be sidelined for four-to-six weeks. He has already been limited to 13 appearances this year because of injuries and can't seem to catch a break in terms of his health. Palmieri has been productive when he's been in the lineup with four goals and nine points.

Jonathan Bernier will be between the pipes Wednesday night versus Dallas.

Bernier will get a second consecutive start because Semyon Varlamov is dealing with an illness. Varlamov didn't take part in Tuesday's practice, but he is expected to be well enough to sit on the bench Wednesday night.

Cal Clutterbuck (illness) is good to return on Wednesday.

Clutterbuck missed two contests due to the disease. He has three goals and seven points in 15 games this season. Alan Quine is projected to be a healthy scratch as a result of his return.
Nov 22 - 6:28 AM

Tyler Seguin scored a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Seguin registered the primary assist Jason Spezza's game-winning goal in the second period before scoring an empty-netter in the third frame. The Stars forward finished the night with a plus-3 rating and five shots on goal in 18:55 of ice time. Seguin now has nine goals and 20 points in 21 games. The goal snapped his six-game goalless drought.
Nov 21 - 11:24 PM

Cam Talbot lasted just 7:35 in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues.

The Oilers pulled Talbot after he gave up two goals on the first three shots of the game. Laurent Brossoit entered the game in relief of Talbot, and he allowed six goals on 37 shots. Talbot, who didn't factor into tonight's decision, just can't seem to find his game in 2017-18. He'll enter his next start with a 3.19 goals-against-average and a .900 save percentage this season.
Nov 21 - 11:05 PM

Vladimir Tarasenko scored two goals and two assists in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

Tarasenko also dropped the gloves with Oilers defenseman Matthew Benning (you can watch the scrap by clicking the link at the bottom of the page). The Russian winger opened the scoring just over three minutes into the first period before scoring his second of the game in the third frame to make it 6-1 for the Blues. Tarasenko finished the game with a plus-4 rating and eight shots on goal in 16:41 of ice time. He's up to 12 goals and 26 points in 22 games this season.
Nov 21 - 10:56 PM

Brock Boeser scored a pair of goals in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

The rookie's first goal gave the Canucks a 2-1 lead at the 10:01 mark of the first period. His second tally (scored on the power play) made it 3-1 for Vancouver in the second period. Boeser finished the night with two shots on goal and three blocked shots in 16:54 of ice time. He now has nine goals and 19 points in 18 games this season. He's now scored at least one goal in three straight games.
Nov 21 - 9:53 PM

Shea Weber (lower body) won't play against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night.

It's a bit of a surprise considering he took part in the morning skate. This is terrible news for a Canadiens team that's struggling badly right now. Weber has four goals 13 points in 20 games this season. Adjust your fantasy lineups accordingly.
Nov 21 - 8:17 PM

Derek Dorsett has returned to Vancouver for further evaluation after he started to experience neck and back stiffness symptoms.

Dorsett had a cervical fusion procedure last year and he has progressed well from it, but the team is taking every precaution necessary to make sure Dorsett is fine. His status is unclear until he sees a specialist, but we know he won't play Tuesday night.
Nov 21 - 4:43 PM

Michal Neuvirth will be between the pipes Tuesday against Vancouver.

The Flyers will play again on Wednesday, so Brian Elliott could start that contest versus the New York Islanders. Neuvirth hasn't played in a game since Nov. 4 when he lost 5-4 in a shootout to Colorado. He has a 2-3-1 record this year with a 2.17 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage.
