The Philadelphia Flyers have decided to send Scott Laughton back to the Oshawa Generals.

As a rookie, he was nearing the limit that would "burn" a year off of his entry-level contract. For a team that's still pretty deep offensively like the Flyers, it makes sense to conserve those affordable years and allow Laughton to mature against lesser competition.

Mikael Granlund scored two goals and an assist in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils.

Granlund registered the primary assist on Nino Niederreiter's power play goal in the second period before scoring twice in the third frame. The Wild forward has three goals and 12 points in 15 games this season. His point streak has now hit four games (he has seven points during that stretch).

Adam Henrique picked up a goal and two assists in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Minnesota Wild.

Henrique opened the scoring late in the first period before setting up Will Butcher's goal in the third period and John Moore's tally in overtime. Henrique finished the night with a plus-2 rating and two shots on goal in 16:59 of ice time. The Devils forward has four goals and eight assists in 20 games this season. The goal put an end to his 10-game goalless drought.

Ryan Johansen scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

Johansen's goal 26 seconds into the second period gave Nashville a 2-1 lead at the time and they never looked back. He also registered an assist on Nick Bonino's third-period tally. Johansen finished the game with a plus-2 rating and three shots on goal in 16:22 of ice time. The Preds forward now has two goals and 11 assists in 20 games this season. Both goals have come in his last three contests.

Johnny Gaudreau scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Washington Capitals.

He managed to extend his point streak to 10 games, which is pretty remarkable. Gaudreau's first-period goal tied the game at one. He also helped set up Sean Monahan's power play tally in the second frame. Gaudreau finished the game with a plus-1 rating and four shots on goal in 18:03 of ice time. He has 10 goals and 21 assists in 20 games this season.

Max Domi scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Domi helped set up Oliver Ekman-Larsson's power play goal in the second period to give Arizona a 2-1 lead at the time. Domi then added an empty-netter late in the third period to make it 3-1 for his team. The Coyotes forward now has two goals and 10 assists in 23 games this season. After collecting just two wins in their first 20 games, Arizona has now won three games in a row.

Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 30 of 32 shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Bobrovsky was able to blank the Sabres for the first two periods, but they eventually scored twice in the final frame. The victory pushes Bobrovsky's winning streak to four games. He now has a 12-4-1 record with a 2.02 goals-against-average and a .934 save percentage this season. He continues to be one of the better fantasy players at his position.

Teuvo Teravainen has been selected as the first star of the week by the NHL.

Teravainen amassed five goals and 10 points over a four-game scoring spree during the period ending Nov. 19. His week was highlighted by his first career hat trick and second career four-point effort in a 5-1 victory versus Dallas. Teravainen has 19 points through 19 matches this campaign.

Thomas Chabot has been called up by Ottawa.

Chabot will get another chance with the big club because of an injury to Mark Borowiecki. He has two assists in three games with Ottawa this season. Chabot also has two goals and five helpers in 12 matches with Belleville of the AHL in 2017-18.

Jay Bouwmeester (ankle) expects to be back in the lineup on Tuesday

Bouwmeester was a full participant at Monday's morning skate and he has been activated from injured reserve. He sustained a fractured ankle on the third day of training camp, but he is finally ready to play. Bouwmeester is projected to be paired with Colton Parayko against Edmonton.

Zach Parise has been moved to long-term injured reserve.

In a corresponding move, Minnesota also activated forward Charlie Coyle from LTIR on Monday. Parise had successful microdiscectomy surgery back on Oct. 24. He hasn't played yet this season and isn't expected to be available until late December of early January.

Minnesota has activated Charlie Coyle from long-term injured reserve.

Coyle has missed the last 16 games because of a right fibula fracture. He could be back in the lineup as soon as Monday night.
