The Minnesota Wild have called up Johan Larsson.

Larsson has 13 goals and 14 assists in 50 AHL contests in 2012-13. He might make his NHL debut on Sunday.

Torey Krug (upper body) is a game-time decision Friday afternoon.

Krug has been unavailable for the Bruins' last three contests. He has three goals and 11 points in 16 games this season.
Nov 24 - 11:53 AM

Anton Khudobin will play between the pipes on Friday.

Keep in mind that Boston's game against Pittsburgh starts at 1:00 p.m. ET, so make sure you adjust your lineups in time. Khudobin is getting his fourth straight start, which isn't surprising given how effective he's been lately. He's allowed just four goals over his last three games.
Nov 24 - 11:52 AM

Rasmus Ristolainen (upper body) will rejoin the Buffalo Sabres on Friday.

Ristolainen was last able to play on Nov. 2. Getting him back is a huge boost for the Sabres as they lean on him heavily. He's averaged 27:10 minutes per game when healthy in 2017-18. His five assists in 13 contests leave something to be desired, but he should start to pick up the pace offensively.
Nov 24 - 11:47 AM

It looks like Philipp Grubauer will play between the pipes on Friday.

Grubauer was the first goaltender off the ice following the morning skate, which is usually a good indication of which netminder will get the nod. He's traditionally been overqualified for the backup role, but he's struggled this season with a 0-4-1 record, 3.49 GAA, and .890 save percentage in seven games. Keep in mind that Washington's contest has an unusual 5:00 p.m. ET start time due to the holidays.
Nov 24 - 11:28 AM

Cam Ward will play between the pipes on Friday.

Ward turned aside 27 shots in a 4-2 victory over the Islanders in his last start on Sunday. He has a 3-2-0 record, 2.63 GAA, and .922 save percentage in five contests this season.
Nov 24 - 11:23 AM

Antti Raanta (upper body) will miss Friday and Saturday's contests.

Raanta sustained the injury during Wednesday's contest. It's believed that Raanta's upper-body injury is concussion-like symptoms and if that's the case then there's no way of knowing how long he'll be sidelined for. The Coyotes have already summoned Marek Langhamer and he'll probably end up splitting the two starts with Scott Wedgewood.
Nov 24 - 6:28 AM

Ryan Miller (lower body) said he's ready to return to the Ducks' lineup.

Miller still needs to be activated off the injured reserve list, but with Anaheim playing on Friday and Saturday, it wouldn't be surprising if he gets into one of those contests. He's 2-0-2 with a 1.88 GAA and .943 save percentage in four contests this season.
Nov 24 - 6:25 AM

The Los Angeles Kings have acquired Torrey Mitchell from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a conditional 2018 fifth-round pick.

If Los Angeles makes the playoffs then the Canadiens receive their own fourth-round selection instead, which the Kings current control thanks to the Dwight King trade. Mitchell has no points in 11 games this season. He was frequently scratched by the Canadiens and averaged just 9:18 minutes when he did play, so it makes sense that Montreal would be interested in moving him. He might get a more regular role with the Kings, but shouldn't be expected to have any fantasy value in standard leagues.

Evgeni Malkin (upper body) will not be available Friday afternoon.

Malkin also missed Wednesday's game. Consider him day-to-day beyond Friday.
Nov 23 - 1:14 PM

The Calgary Flames have placed Eddie Lack on waivers.

Lack has posted some ugly numbers in four games this season. He has a 1-2-0 record with a 5.29 goals-against-average and a .813 save percentage this season.
Nov 23 - 12:34 PM

William Karlsson posted a goal, an assist, a plus-2 rating and five shots on goal in Wednesday's 4-2 victory in Anaheim.

Karlsson has posted at least one goal in each of his past three outings, and he has managed 10 goals with 18 points with a respectable plus-6 rating over the past 16 games. Karlsson has already set a career high with his 10 goals, and he is just seven points short of his previous career best of 25 points set last season in Columbus.
