For the second game in a row, Ben Scrivens kicked out all 37 Florida Panthers shots in a 3-0 victory Monday night.

Another great performance by Scrivens tonight. Since Reimer went down with a knee injury, Scrivens has stopped 133 of 137 shots with back-to-back shutouts. He has not allowed a goal in over 144 minutes now. Go pick him up if he's still available in your free agent pool.

The New York Rangers will have Henrik Lundqvist in goal tonight against the Boston Bruins.

Head coach Alain Vigneault mentioned tonight's matchup against the Boston Bruins as being too big a game to have his starter sit on the bench. Lundqvist turned aside 33 of 35 shots in a 4-2 win last night against the Los Angeles Kings and will be hoping for more of the same tonight. He has a 15-8-2 record with a 2.68 goals against average and .917 save percentage.

Logan Couture left Friday night's game against the Canucks in the third period with a possible concussion.

Couture took an Alexander Burmistrov shoulder to his jaw and was on the ice for at least a minute before he skated off a little woozy under his own power. It is likely Couture then underwent concussion protocol testing. As soon as we know more about Couture's condition we will pass it along.
Dec 16 - 2:00 PM

Jared Spurgeon will not play this afternoon against the Minnesota Wild.

Spurgeon has 15 points in 23 games but has missed the last eight games due to a groin injury. He is expect to return to game action tomorrow against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Dec 16 - 1:33 PM

The Edmonton Oilers will have Cam Talbot in goal today against the Minnesota Wild.

It will mark his first start since he suffered his upper-body injury that cost him seven games on November 28th against the Coyotes. He has a 10-10-1 record with a 3.00 goals against average and .903 save percentage. Considering his poor play before his injury, you might want to turn to your other options in goal tonight.
Dec 16 - 12:39 PM

Blues coach Mike Yeo said Saturday that Alex Pietrangelo (undisclosed) has made some progress.

Yeo added that he wasn't ready to say if Pietrangelo would return Saunday night for the second half of the team's back-to-back set versus the Jets. At this point, consider Pietrangelo questionable for tomorrow's game and check back here before putting him back into your fantasy lineups. The 27-year-old blueliner has 23 points in 30 games this season.
Dec 16 - 12:22 PM

The Winnipeg Jets will start Steve Mason on Saturday night against the St. Louis Blues.

Mason has been sidelined since the end of November when he suffered a concussion against the San Jose Sharks. He comes into the game with a 2-4-1 record with a 3.45 goals against average and .904 save percentage. Coming off a long layoff, you're better off turning to your other options in goal tonight.
Dec 16 - 12:09 PM

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that prospect Timothy Liljegren has been loaned to Sweden for the upcoming World Junior Championship tournament.

The 18-year-old blueliner has appeared in 17 games with the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, picking up one goal and eight assists. It's still too early for him to make an NHL impact but he is someone to keep an eye on in the next couple of years. Lilegren was the 17th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.
Dec 16 - 12:02 PM

Carter Hutton will get the start in Saturday's game against the Winnipeg Jets.

Hutton has been out for five games because of a lower-body injury, but he's good to go tonight. He has a 4-2-0 record with a 1.88 goals-against-average and a .937 save percentage. Hutton has dropped each of his last two decisions.
Dec 16 - 11:36 AM

Both Henrik and Daniel Sedin picked up three assists each in a 4-3 overtime win over the San Jose Sharks.

The twins picked up a pair of assists on both on Markus Granlund's goals, and then another pair of assists on Brock Boeser's 17th goal of the season. Henrik Sedin is now up to 22 points in 33 games this season, with 15 of them coming in his last 13 games. He's well worth picking up in fantasy leagues if his slow start put him on your waiver wire.
Dec 16 - 12:41 AM

Henrik Zetterberg picked up a pair of assists in Friday's 3-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Zetterberg registered primary assists on Danny Dekeyser's goal in the second period that tied the game at one and on Tomas Tatar's power play goal in the third frame to make 3-1. The Red Wings captain finished the night with a plus-1 rating, one shot on goal and two hits in 17:59 of ice time. The 37-year-old now has five goals and 15 points in 32 games. He's currently riding a three-game point streak. Trevor Daley scored the game-winning goal (shorthanded) for Detroit.
