Braden Holtby saved all 35 Jets shots in a 3-0 victory Saturday.

Holtby has now earned three shutouts this season, but unfortunately he's also frustrated fantasy owners with several rough starts. Still, he has allowed just five goals in his last four starts, with four of those goals coming on Wednesday, so maybe he's finally turned a corner.

The flu bug appears to have bitten Ben Bishop, as he was absent from Sunday's practice with the team.

It's unclear if the veteran netminder will start Monday's match versus the Senators, but if he doesn't this is why. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Corey Crawford will be scratched from his Sunday start due to illness.

Crawford has come down with the flu and will miss the game. Scott Darling will start in his place.

It looks like every team wanting to make a blockbuster deal with the Rangers is asking about J.T. Miller according to Larry Brooks of the New York Post.

According to Brooks, the answer has been no. Miller is having an outstanding season with 19 goals and 47 points in 61 games, already surpassing his career best of 43 set last season. At age 24, it looks like Miller is on an upward trend for a few more years at least. He should be owned in all formats of fantasy hockey.

Gabriel Landeskog collected two goals and an assist as the Colorado Avalanche beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-3 on Saturday.

Colorado's captain (and potential trade bait) also had a +2 rating, two PIM, two SOG and two hits in this one. He even generated three FW in four tries. The sturdy Swede broke a five-game pointless streak with this outburst.

The Colorado Avalanche beat the Buffalo Sabres 5-3 on Saturday, giving Jeremy Smith his first win at 27 years old.

Smith had lost in his first two appearance, although now with a .914 save percentage in limited exposure, he hasn't really been too bad. The little-known goalie will turn 28 on April 13, so this has to be a real treat for him. Smith stopped 34 out of 37 shots in Saturday's victory.

With an authoritative power-play goal in the San Jose Sharks' 4-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, Logan Couture hit the 20-goal mark for the sixth time in his career.

Not bad for a guy who will turn 28 on March 28. He has some impressive peers; Joe Pavelski's hit the 2-0 on eight occasions while Patrick Marleau's done it 14 times. Couture also has 20 assists in 2016-17, giving him 40 points in 59 games this season.

San Jose Sharks forward Patrick Marleau scored his 98th career GWG in his team's 4-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, placing him alone at sixth all-time.

Marleau went into the night tied with Guy Lafleur and Jarome Iginla, with the latter active (thus able to possibly tie or go back ahead of Marleau). There's no denying who's the most effective of the two this season overall, however, as Marleau now has 22 goals and seems almost ageless.

Martin Jones got the win as the San Jose Sharks prevailed 4-1 on Saturday, but you can't bury the Vancouver Canucks for a lack of effort.

Jones faced 36 shots, stopping all but one. This win pushes him to 29-15-6 on the season. He's in a nice position to meet or exceed last season's career-high of 37 wins.

Matt Murray made 36 saves on 38 shots Saturday night as the Penguins downed the Flyers 4-2 in an outdoor stadium game.

Murray was perfect on 14 shots in the first and lasted 11:14 into the second before giving up a goal to Jakub Voracek. This raises his recent record to 6-2-2 in the last 10 games with a save percentage of .935. Murray has been sharing the net with Marc-Andre Fleury and has overshadowed him so far this season with a 23-7-3 record compared to Fleury’s 15-7-2. That makes him a great differentiator on a fantasy player’s lineup.

Jakub Voracek scored his 16th goal of the season in a 4-2 loss to the Penguins Saturday night.

Voracek has scored five points on the strength of two goals and three assists in his last seven games. He had four shots on goal Saturday. That was the 24th time in 61 games this season that he has made four or more shots. That equates to 39 percent of the time and makes Voracek a consistently good fantasy value.

Auston Matthews scored both goals in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadians Saturday night.

Matthews scored the opening goal in the contest halfway through the first period. He scored his second early in the third to tie the game. This goal forced overtime. Matthews also led his team with seven shots on goal. These two goals brought his season total to 30, tying fellow freshman Patrik Laine of the Jets and veteran Kings' center Jeff Carter for second in the league.
