Corey Crawford will be in goal for the Blackhawks when they take on Detroit Sunday afternoon.

There was concern that Crawford had suffered a re-aggravation of the upper body injury that kept him out of the lineup earlier this season, but he appears good to go for this big divisional matchup. Ray Emery will resume his role as the primary backup.

Henrik Sedin scored a goal in a 2-1 win over the Florida Panthers on Friday.

Henrik Sedin took a nice feed from brother Daniel before beating Luongo with a nice move for his 1000th career NHL point in his 1213th game. It was a special moment for the 36-year-old Swede and it must have been extra special to celebrate it with a win. Luca Sbisa scored the game-winning goal for the Canucks just over three minutes into the third period. Henrik Sedin now has 30 points in 47 games this season.

Phil Kessel scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 7-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Kessel assisted on Carl Hagelin's goal early in the second period that made it 2-0 at the time and he scored one of his own just over 10 minutes later. Kessel now has 14 goals and 44 points in 45 games this season. Bryan Rust, Conor Sheary, Evgeni Malkin and Justin Schultz all had multi-point efforts in the blowout win.

Scott Darling stopped all 30 shots he faced in Friday's 1-0 win over the Boston Bruins.

The Blackhawks were finally able to break a scoreless tie when Marian Hossa made it 1-0 with under two minutes remaining in regulation. Darling has won each of his last two decisions and he owns a 12-4-2 record in 2016-17. He'll enter his next appearance with a 2.21 goals-against-average and a .928 save percentage.

Spencer Martin will get his first career NHL start on Saturday against the Sharks.

The 21-year-old has been good for AHL San Antonio this season, his second twirl through pro hockey. Martin has posted a 15-9 record through 27 games with a .915 save percentage and 2.62 GAA.
Jan 20 - 8:11 PM

Jean-Francois Berube will play between the pipes on Saturday.

The Islanders went to just two goaltenders at the start of January with Jaroslav Halak being sent to the minors. Despite that, Berube hasn't been getting work. He has a 3.14 GAA and .904 save percentage in two starts and five appearances.
Jan 20 - 3:30 PM

P.K. Subban (upper body) has been taken off the injured reserve list.

Subban will return on Friday after missing 16 straight games with an upper-body injury. Getting Subban back would be a big boost for the Predators regardless of the circumstances, but it's especially important for Nashville right now with Roman Josi (upper body) on the injured reserve list. He has seven goals and 17 points in 29 games this season.

Jake Allen will not travel with the Blues to Winnipeg even though he's healthy.

The Blues want to give Allen a chance to reset after he had to be pulled in his last three starts. St. Louis still regards Allen as its long-term starting goaltender though. Pheonix Copley was called up, so he'll join the Blues for Saturday's game. That being said, the Blues haven't made a decision as to who their starter will be.
Jan 20 - 2:15 PM

Jakob Silfverberg has an upper-body injury.

Silfverberg isn't going to travel with the team to Minnesota, so he won't play on Saturday. He probably will miss Monday's game in Winnipeg too, but it's theoretically possible that he'll meet up with the Ducks before that contest. He has 13 goals and 29 points in 48 contests in 2016-17.
Jan 20 - 1:45 PM

Morgan Rielly (lower body) won't return on Saturday.

That will be Rielly's second straight game on the sidelines. On the plus side, he did skate by himself on Friday.
Jan 20 - 1:29 PM

Anders Nilsson is over his illness and will get the start on Friday.

Nilsson will attempt to end his personal three-game losing streak. He has a 2.56 GAA and .924 save percentage in 17 contests this season.
Jan 20 - 11:45 AM

Clarke MacArthur (concussion) will be held out for the rest of the season.

MacArthur sustained the injury during a training camp scrimmage. "Clarke is devastated by this news," Dorion relayed to the media this morning. "He felt he didn't have any symptoms but I think in the long-term of this process we always said that the doctors would decide if Clarke was going to play. They all feel that Clarke should not play this year." MacArthur was also limited to four games last season due to a separate concussion.
