The San Jose Sharks completed their four-game sweep of the Vancouver Canucks after a 4-3 overtime win on Tuesday evening.

Marleau notched the overtime winner on the powerplay. Joe Pavelski continued his incredible postseason start, notching two goals and nine shots on goal in series clincher. Pavelski caused huge problems for the Canucks, tallying eight points in the sweep. Joe Thornton recorded three assists and Logan Couture added a goal and an assist in the win.

Andre Burakovsky will be back in the lineup for Game 6 versus Tampa Bay.

Burakovsky was on the third line alongside Lars Eller and Brett Connolly during Monday's morning skate. He was a healthy scratch Saturday, but Alex Chiasson will be in the press box for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final.
May 21 - 2:04 PM

Jakub Vrana was on the second line during Washington's morning skate.

Vrana is slated to start Game 6 against Tampa Bay alongside Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie. He has had some success as a top-six forward during the playoffs. This could provide him with a big boost, as he only has one assist in his last six outings.
May 21 - 2:00 PM

Marc-Andre Fleury turned aside 31 shots in a 2-1 win over Winnipeg on Sunday afternoon.

Fleury and the Vegas Golden Knights finished off the Jets in five games to advance to the Stanley Cup Final. Vegas won four straight games behind great goaltending from Fleury and timely scoring after losing the first match of the series. The expansion Golden Knights will play against Tampa Bay or Washington for the Stanley Cup.
May 20 - 6:12 PM

Ryan Reaves scored the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-1 win over Winnipeg in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final.

The Winnipeg native eliminated his hometown Jets with a tip-in goal at the 13:21 mark of the second period on a shot by Luca Sbisa. Reaves' first goal of the playoffs held up as the game winner and it sends the expansion Vegas Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Final.

Dmitry Kulikov will return to the lineup on Sunday afternoon for Game 5 of the Western Conference Final.

Kulikov was paired with Tyler Myers during the pregame warmups. He hasn't played since Mar. 8 due to a back injury, so this will mark his 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs debut. Kulikov and Joe Morrow will play with Ben Chiarot and Toby Enstrom out of the lineup against Vegas.

Jaden Schwartz's upper-body issue is a right shoulder injury.

Schwartz suffered the injury at the IIHF World Championship while playing for Team Canada. Blues GM Doug Armstrong said it's not projected to be a long-term problem and it will not require surgery. Schwartz is expected to be ready for training camp.

Ryan Callahan scored a goal and picked up an assist in Saturday night's 3-2 Game 5 win over the Washington Capitals.

Callahan batted the puck over to Cedric Paquette who opened the scoring just 19 seconds into the game. Callahan then did more damage 33 seconds into the second period when he crashed the net and banged home his second goal of the post-season for the game-winner. Tampa's fourth line continued its strong play tonight and did a good job at taking away offensive opportunities from Alex Ovechkin with some blocked shots. The series will now shift over to Washington with the Lightning holding a 3-2 series lead. Ondrej Palat also scored in the win.

With his assist last night on William Karlsson's opening goal, Reilly Smith set the NHL record for most assists (14) in a team's first postseason appearance.

Smith's assist last night might not be as memorable as his goal, but it put him in the history books with his 14th assist of the playoffs. Both he and Jonathan Marchessault continue to show just how much the Florida Panthers erred by letting them go to Vegas so easily. The Golden Knights can clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup Final with a win on Sunday afternoon.

Boston University bench boss David Quinn has apparently informed the athletic director at Boston University that he is taking the New York Rangers head-coaching job.

Quinn will reportedly sign a five-year deal worth $12 million. He'll be tasked with turning around a Rangers team that finished 24th in the NHL this season. However, the Rangers are expected to adopt a similar approach as the one the Philadelphia Flyers took with Dave Hakstol, giving Quinn time to implement his system and change the culture of the Rangers dressing room. A press conference could take place shortly after GM Jeff Gorton returns from the IIHF World Championships on Monday.
May 19 - 12:23 PM

Andre Burakovsky appears to be the odd man out based on Saturday's morning skate.

Alex Chiasson took part in line rushes and Burakovsky did not. That shouldn't come as much of a surprise considering Burakovsky has logged just 7:26 and 8:30 in each of Washington's last two games. The Capitals jumped out to a 2-0 series lead on the road but lost the next two at home. Tonight's game would go a long way in giving them the confidence needed to make a Stanley Cup Final berth.
