David Krejci notched a hat trick to power the Bruins to a 4-3 overtime win in Game 4 against the Leafs on Wednesday night.

The 27-year-old center scored the game-winner at 13:06 of the extra period to give the Bruins a 3-1 lead in the first-round series. The Leafs have no answer for Krejci as he's been an absolute monster with five goals and 10 points in the series. Patrice Bergeron got the other goal for Boston, his first playoff goal since 2011. It was also his first marker since March 27, too. Zdeno Chara, who had a "down" year with just 19 points, reminded us all that he still is a major impact player, registering an assist on all four goals. Nathan Horton also had two assists.

Keith Kinkaid recorded his first career shutout on Valentine's Day.

A great day for some extra love as Kinkaid turned away all 28 shots the Kings sent his way. He's now 4-5-1 with 24 goals against on the season.

Patrice Bergeron will not play due to an undisclosed injury Sunday against Detroit.

A big loss for Boston as Bergeron is arguably their most important player. He has 21 goals and 47 points with 33 blocks, 57 hits, and is 56.7% on faceoffs. Those are big shoes to fill, so set your roster accordingly.

The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Michael Del Zotto on IR.

Word around Flyers camp has been awfully ominous, though also unspecific, about Del Zotto's injury. We'll keep you posted as his status develops. The 25-year-old has four goals and 13 points in 52 games.

John Torchetti will take over behind the Wild’s bench in the wake of Mike Yeo’s firing.

Torchetti, 51, coached the AHL’s Iowa Wild and will now run the NHL team on an interim basis. Iowa was 15-29-3-3 this season. He has served as the interim coach for the Panthers in 2003-04 and Kings in 2005-06. Torchetti played seven seasons in the minors, though he never reached the NHL level.

Ryan Getzlaf scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the Ducks in their 3-2 triumph over the Blackhawks on Saturday night.

He also had an assist on David Perron’s tally. It wasn’t long ago when many thought the Ducks were toast. Now they are second in the Pacific Division and looking like a bonafide contender, seven points back of the Kings. Getzlaf has points in four games in a row. He has six goals and 42 points. Jakob Silfverberg got the other goal. Cam Fowler had two assists.

Alex Ovechkin notched a power-play goal in the Capitals’ 4-3 loss to the Stars on Saturday night.

Leave it to the captain to get the scoring started, the beginning of a rally that fell just short. The Caps scored three goals in the third period to pull within one. Ovechkin also had five shots goal and four hits. He has goals in four games in a row, now with 35 on the year, along with 49 points. Justin Williams and Andre Burakovsky got the other goals. Evgeny Kuznetsov assisted twice.

Boone Jenner recorded two goals in the Blue Jackets’ 4-2 win against the Senators on Saturday night.

He also had four penalty minutes and five shots on net. Jenner doesn’t carry the same cache as the big-name forwards, but he is a fantasy factor because he gets a lot of shots on net (156 in 57 games), has a scoring touch (19 goals, 32 points) and plays with an edge (48 penalty minutes). Cam Atkinson (goal, assist) and Brandon Saad got the other goals. Seth Jones had two assists.
Feb 13 - 10:37 PM

Carter Hutton stopped all 22 shots he faced in the Predators’ win against the Panthers on Saturday night.

Is it time for the Preds to give Hutton a few starts in a row? While his performance (2.10 GAA, .924 SV%., two shutouts) might warrant it, it’s hard to see them going away from Pekka Rinne, despite his struggles. Hutton has allowed two goals in his past three games.
Feb 13 - 10:26 PM

Mark Arcobello scored twice in the Maple Leafs’ 5-2 win against the Canucks on Saturday night.

Arcobello was playing his third game since his recall. He is an NHL player, though he gets overlooked because of his small stature (5-foot-8, 172 pounds). Some team could gain from acquiring him at the deadline. Brad Boyes, Leo Komarov and Brendan Leipsic got the other goals. Jake Gardiner had two assists.
Feb 13 - 10:08 PM

Victor Rask scored twice to lead the Hurricanes to a 6-3 win against the Islanders on Saturday night.

Both of Rask’s goals came at the end of the second period, within a 1:19 span. Only 22, Rask is developing nicely now with 14 goals and 33 points. He had 11 goals and 33 points in 80 games last year. Andrej Nestrasil, Noah Hanifin, Riley Nash and Kris Versteeg picked up the other goals. Jordan Staal and Phillip Di Giuseppe got two assists apiece.
